Stevie MAY

I`m sure many have noticed but I will post it.

A fine co-oincidence that  stevie MAY who wears no.17 for ST.J will probably score @ win the cup on final day MAY 17.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did score in what will likely be his final appearance for St. Johnstone. It'll be interesting to see which clubs come in for him in the summer.

I doubt anyone else would have noticed!

Celtic most likely.

A fine coincidence that I noticed that as well.......................................................on BBC website.

Oh, I get it now...!

I didn't appreciate the quirky significance until I also read it in the paper!

When you posted it, Ten4, I thought you'd maybe been on the sauce early doors!

I looked at a few recent cup finals and noticed that in 2012 the final was on the 19th and Skacel scored for Hearts as no.19.

The year before, 2011, the final was on the 21st and Mulgrew scored for Celtic as no.21. I just thought, blimey, this happens all the time!

But it's the 'MAY' part I overlooked! 17th May final and May is no.17!

Shame he's also a bit of a tw@t

May 17 is also the day that Scotrail have decided to carry out engineering works with the result that there will be no trains at all from Perth To Glasgow that weekend.  :slapme:

Apparently it's network rails fault not Scotrail? Been 18 months in the planning as well! Unbelievable. Do they not check for major events when planning?

Oh my!

I hear a distress call already from the other finalist..."Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!

It's not exactly a  foregone conclusion so the result may go their way or it may not!

Maybe aye or maybe Och aye.

As for Mr May I have liked his style and , particularly, his goals. I wonder if  John Hughes does also.

With Billy on the left and May on the right how potent would that be? The dynamic duo, or what?
