Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation

I’m not making any criticism here, but there does seem to be a bit of an anomaly that a company with a known history of financial problems which has been hovering on the brink of insolvency for weeks can continue to make advance sales of services to be provided for the next ten months - and that if the company collapses, reimbursement for any payments is the responsibility of a third party credit card provider, despite it being known at time of purchase that there was a significant chance of that collapse.

As I said…just an observation and no criticism or complaint of an arrangement which appears to be playing a significant part in the efforts to save the club.

The credit card thing might offer fans protection but cc companies will go after the club for the funds.

If the club are in administration or liquidation the cc company will get beneficial creditor status.  This means they will be paid ahead of people such as local businesses etc.

It may seem like a smart move but ultimately it's the wrong people who end up paying if the club gets into further trouble.

Or maybe the fans could just write off their season ticket refund, very much like we would love Morrison to do with his own investment.

It is not remotely the same.  The fact that Morrison still has a charge against the club is part of the uncertainty that is stopping people putting money into the club at the moment.  I don't want my money going out of my pocket and then going straight into his pocket when the club goes bust.

A near neighbour of the last Physio says that both the current physio and Kitman have resigned from the Club! Not sure if it’s for the same or different reasons, but that’s not great news. Looks like there could be internal issues as well as financial ones. I suppose this is what happens when you don’t treat folks right. The Club are apparently relying on physios from Ross County. what a state to be in!

That will no doubt be dressed up as a cost saving. 

Is there another Scottish club at any level in more of a mess than us right now?

Its true no physio or kit man

I can remember back in the early days an interview with Scott kellacher, may have been Grampian tv news, he was stuffing dirty shirts into a washing machine at the stadium.

Kit man back then ?

There was no physio in our dug out tonight it’s absolutely ridiculous.

I think during that period the groundsman ( Tommy Cumming at the time) did both. Now all teams right down to Highland league etc have someone who sorts out kit and all the other stuff players and training staff need.

SPFL rules state:-

"G57  It is the responsibility of Premiership Clubs participating in League Matches and Play- Off Matches to ensure that a chartered physiotherapist or equivalent is present throughout each such match to attend to their respective Players and, if necessary, Match Officials and it is the responsibility of each of the other Clubs participating in League Matches and Play-Off Matches to ensure that a person with an appropriate physiotherapy qualification is present throughout each such match to attend to their respective Players and, if necessary, Match Officials.

G58  Only those qualified as above should treat Players and Match Officials on the field of play.

G59  For all Official Matches other than League Matches and Play-Off Matches, there must, at least, be in attendance an individual with appropriate emergency aid training."

So no physio required for a friendly but one will be required for league matches.  It is interesting that only in the Premiership are clubs required to have a chartered (registered) physio or equivalent in attendance, but this rather begs the question of how you define what is "equivalent" to a Chartered Physiotherapist.  Also, what is meant by "an appropriate physiotherapy qualification" if it doesn't require that person to be registered with the professional regulating body.

Bottom line though, is that for league matches we will be required to have someone with a good bit more training that a first aider to be present.

Scott and Fiona do a lot more beyond their normal jobs I believe.

Just 2 hours until the extended early bird period finishes guys! If you get in quick you also get a limited edition dart board sized Scot Gardiner poster. 

I am just going to get a ticket for each game even though it might cost more as I am so pi**ed off with the way the club has been dealing with everything!

At least the North stand ST holders don't need to worry about losing their seats because only the Main Stand is going to be open for home fans. Another good reason to hold back on buying your ST.

Was allocated same seats as last year in north stand. Can’t see even our club selling a season ticket for £182 ( oops clue to age) and then putting me in a seat that others have paid £230 for.

I assume also that dispite being asked many times that the club yet again never bothered to designate a singing section for fans who want to stand?

Fairly sure they did. it's in the West Stand IIRC and should be implemented just as soon as the roof is finished 

I see seat reservations for season ticket renewals stop at 1200 tomorrow and full prices then apply.
