  1. I seen about 10 stewards over at the St. Johnstone fans who were standing and singing and making the only atmosphere in the stadium. Just pathetic, think I might write to the club about this. Will they be employing the same rules for everyone or just pick on small groups and seems to be invariably young boys. Or will they be showing the usual double standards come 3 weeks time when we play one of the OF in the cup? Will they hell, they will sit back cowardly and let them stand and do what they want for the whole game and come the following home game they will act all jumped up jobsworth again throwing out young boys from a smaller support. I expect them to employ the same rules to everyone, either let all away supports stand or start throwing out the OF fans.

Because Odi has about as much tackling ability and strength on the ball as a wet sponge....Sutherland offered more of a physical presence in a game that had the potential to become a bit of a clogfest.

Think he is referring to the surname origin and not the player. Just like if someone played in Australia with the name McMinker you could assume his name could have links to Dingwall.
  4. Let them have their "green day". I want to be a minority.
  5. Here's me thinking we'd be drinking coke on the Glasgow train then. First time i'll be back in Edinburgh since the Hearts game, after moving to Glasgow on the Sunday! An emotional return for me!

  9. I wrote to Doncaster at the end of January telling him that as a fan I was not in favour of a 10 team SPL and how it would affect my view of football etc etc. He wrote back a week or so later with a very bland thank you saying: ' As you will appreciate, we have received many proposals from fans suggesting alternatives to the existing structure, fixture scheduling, improvements to the game in general and it is impossible to reply to each in detail'. He went on to say 'The SPL is fully committed to looking at ways of progressing the game in scotland. In early 2010 we embarked on a Strategic Review which has looked at, inter alia, the effectiveness and commerciality of the current structure in Scotland. This has been a lengthy and detailed process and any proposals for change will be considered by the SPL Clubs. Thank you for taking the time to write to me with your thoughts and for your interest in the Scottish Premier League' I also wrote to Topping the Chief Executive but got no response from him. So it's very clear. He says they have had lots of representation but are not willing to listen, instead it will be discussed with the SPL Clubs. My advice then is to bombard Doncaster with letters and also to write to our own Chairman showing him our support. He has a very difficult job but if he knows he has the fans backing and can go into any meeting with a box full of letters from his own club's fans then he will truely represent us. By the way I also wrote Terry congratulating him on his well published views and I think he too deserves our support.
  10. Im probably going to get absolute pelters for this but here goes. In my opinion this subject is getting rather tiresome. I have travelled to the majority of away games this season and love nothing more than following my team all over the country. I enjoy everthing about it. The trip down and back on the train, pre match drinks and getting the craic with my mates. But primarily im there to watch the football and support my team. Thats what it is all about. We are all down there to watch the game of football. Now I totally agree with everyone else that some of the stewarding is ridiculous and heavy-handed but at some point everyone is going to have to stop all the nonense and abide by their rules. People got chucked out at the first away game of the season at tannadice and since then it has been happening on a weekly basis. There has been occasions where I too have argued with stewards over their dealings with some fans but there have been many instances where I have fully agreed with Stewards throwing certain fans out. A lot of our fans, particularly the young fans, seem to just be there to start something off with stewards. I've stood at a lot of games aswell but if your told to sit down a couple of times then your just going to have to do what they say. Its not like they are going to change their minds. We are all there to watch the game, not to get chucked out. But everyone cant seem to understand that. The youngsters seem to take great delight in arguing, goading and baiting the stewards. Its no wonder that they are getting chucked out and its embarassing that its happening every away game. Its even more embarassing that these people who have spent a fortune travelling to the game are only getting to see a part of the game when all they had to do was shut their mouths and just get on with the fact that the stewards are arseholes and not going to change their minds. You can slag off the stewards all you like but at some point fans are going to have to change the way they act. Yesterday was a prime example. Granted the steward was way out of line with what he did, but what is he supposed to do when he was constantly getting abuse from them all. Everyone has their breaking point and I would challenge everyone of you to put yourself in his shoes and not react the way he did. I think everyone knows that the boy that it happened to has a fair mouth on him and there has been many occassions where he has been out of order with some of the abuse he has given. He was told many times to sit down but never once did. Why not just shut up, sit down and watch the game like he came to do? Now I know that I'm now going to get dogs abuse for all this but this can't keep happening every week. Stewarding around the country needs changed and they do spoil an enjoyable day out but our fans are also going to have to change if they want this situation to get any better.
  11. Runrig suck......why do so many people think we have to add to the Teuchter sterotype already attached to us, by playing crap like Runrig and Highland Cathedral? We need proper music, that gets the crowd going...not send them to sleep

I'm not one to moan.... but..... I thought Shane Sutherland was wasted on the right wing.. more or less was a waste of space, he aint a right winger, not now, not ever. Why was Eric not introduced? he could have really made saints pay with some nice passes/pace from the right, every time i've seen shane play on the right he's been poor - but it's not his fault, just poor decisions from management. (waits red dot)
