  1. But do you think he'll make the bench?!

  2. So when Terry Butcher or Ally McCoist is punched on the head by a Celtic fan, I take it he'll not be charged with assault then as long as he doesn't utter a religious-hating remark? This opens the floodgates for pitch invasions and what I would term 'assaults'. If a Hearts fan can punch a manager, why can't a fan of other clubs?

  3. Lets hope Chippendale can be our Rescue Ranger, especially seeing as we didn't sign any Rangers kids! (If you're older than 30 or younger than your early 20s you might not get this reference. See this See linky And with that we've already got a song for him too! On another note, does anyone think that although Terry has a fairly sound policy of finding young hungry starlets for relatively small wages down in England, we do lack many players with actual SPL experience? Or do we have a large enough backbone of SPL players already to need to worry about this? I'm not sure at all really.

  4. He spent over 100 days on remand, he was not jailed yesterday. The sectarian element was argued and was not proven to have existed, the jury also had the option of removing the sectarian part of the charges to secure an assault conviction. I find it hard to believe that someone who admits having not listened to a 3 minute radio report properly can come out and say they still hope there is scope for someone to be jailed even after a jury, a Sheriff and two legal teams have considered all the facts over a period of four days. No wonder there are so many ill informed opinions on Scottish football web forums.

  5. The right decision was returned under the circumstances and only serves to underline the point I was making at the time about it being far too easy to try and pigeon hole everything as being driven by sectarianism. It actually restores a little of my lost faith in the legal system that they just didn't take it as read that such a motive existed.

  7. 5 foot 8 inches tall - I suppose the plan is to get him to sit on McKay's shoulders and play as a target man.

  8. Thank feck fer that - could be the end of the merger threads - as all will now be able to see how the penniless and failing fools from the hill jumped on to the back of the proud eagle.

  9. He was utter pish in the first place hence why he was thrown into the reserves. Also clearly has a lack of respect to go with his lack of talent. Glad we saved the wages on him. Where the hell is colchester anyway?

  10. A bit of an own goal by ICT hosting this match on Friday night as its a kick in the teeth to Clachnacuddin who are playing Turriff Utd at the very same time We all know Clachs situation regarding money and there struggle to get punters through the turnstiles therefore this fixture should have been moved to a more suitable date They may well be legends but I won't be there as I will be going to Grant Street dougal
