  1. Think we should write to him again and point out that we don't have any debt either
  2. If distance is that much of an issue, Killie should apply for the Ayrshire Juniors. Or are most of the teams in the wrong part of Ayrshire?
  3. McGregor has said no? First time for everything I guess. EDIT: Allegedly.
  4. That, my friend, is scaffolding.
  5. Given that they have players under contract (as well as all the other employees) how would they avoid going bust again? All I can think is that they could travel around playing exhibition matches like the Harlem Globetrotters. Except they'd be the Govan Taxdodgers. And they wouldn't get near the 'hoops'.
  6. Can the supporters Trust be a vehicle for cash donations that are then used to buy shares in the club. This way the generosity of the fans of today, in supporting the club in its moments of need, can build a lasting legacy of share ownership, and therefore a stronger voice in the club.
  7. BTW, I like both Dunfermline and Dundee....if it was up to me then I'd relegate St Mirren just for the hell of it and let both of them in

Motherwell likely to say no and Killie looking like doing a U turn after supporters overwhelmingly voted no to NewCo. I know that we moan about losing players to other teams due to lack of resources but I'd rather have a team to support than a bunch of crooks behind the scenes running my team into the ground.
  9. Bit of a difference though. Robson went to Dundee United who were in the league above ICT at the time. Cowie went to the Championship with Watford. That's the thing here, if Hayes had signed for Bristol City for example, as was rumoured a while back, I think the ICT fans - like they did with Rooney - would see how he was going to a far bigger team, in a better league and unanimously wished him well. Hayes hasn't done that though, he's moved sideways for nothing more than money and that attitude could be detrimental to him in the long run.
  10. He`s just stuck 2 fingers up, has he?
  11. Couldn't ICT and the other remaining SPL clubs not just request the SPL to scrap the coming season's split? That way, there would be more games, probably another money-spinning Celtic game and more games against teams that would bring a larger away support. Don't know how doable it is, but it might generate more income for each club.
  12. I'll get right back to you..... ......struggling with a Renegade on the line at the moment....
  13. Cant be much worse than this surely?

Just beat you to it but, cos I'm a nice guy, I'll delete mine.
  15. Of the teams in contention, which one is most likely to finish below ICT? They get my vote.
  16. Bumping his gums now about the Rangers situation ........ http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4394460/Gers-crisis-will-wind-up-costing-this-team-1m.html "Kilmarnock will suffer the most for Rangers not being in the league. We will only have one guaranteed Old Firm gate next season as we were down to play Rangers twice at home...... " “We are different in that we carry debt. Other clubs of a similar size like St Johnstone and St Mirren don’t carry debt, so this will have a bigger impact on us." So it is St Johnstone and St Mirren's fault that you cant manage your own finances ??? Jealousy much ?

does anyone know whats happening with jonny hayes is he staying or going,as its starting to annoy some fans including me. surely its a simple yes or no for staying with us x
  18. Hat....................check Scarf.................check Keyring.............check Car sticker........check 500,000 £1 ordinary shares.......
  19. Here is a graph showing the total miles traveled per club based on the fixtures up until the split: And one of the average miles traveled to an away game by each club: Must learn how to spell traveled...
  20. Difference between Average Attendance against Average Attendance minus Old Firm games: Match Attendances v Celtic: Match Attendances v Rangers: Looking at it, and I'm happy to be corrected, the dwindling numbers seem to be those in the Home end although what their loyalties are could be argued anyway.
  21. I have been messaged by a couple of folk on here and one suggestion mooted was that some of us who are overseas or otherwise not at the TCS on a regular basis could possibly club together and buy 'some' season tickets (quantity obviously depends on level of interest and how much was pledged). These tickets could then then be used by others (perhaps on payment of a portion of the equivalent match fee directly to ICT (?)) or maybe given out for charity or something like that ..... Like the person who suggested it to me I havent thought through the specifics yet, but we will be happy to try and drive any fundraising ideas, or to publicise and push those ideas towards the Supporters Trust if the management of them is more appropriate that way. If the site members feel it is warranted, perhaps - in this new spirit of unity - we might want a small sub-forum for fundraising ideas and such like ? Definitely a thread of its own though rather than getting lost in here ! Of course, for our own part, CTO will now go ahead and try to get names of site members who want to re-subscribe to or rejoin our player sponsor group so we can also contribute to the club this way and we will likely make our own contribution on top of that. If ever there was a time for all of us to dip into our pockets and help the club that time is now. We can all do our part, no matter how large or small that assistance is. Let me know, i will be happy to contribute. Mrs Gabby is in Inverness for the next couple of weeks, she has a shopping list for me for the club shop. I think I will give her a call and add a few extra things to the list.
  22. The majority of honest Rangers fans are keen for this whole episode to be over and to get the chance to see their team get back to the top by fair means. We should not forget that it wasn;t Rangers who cheated. It wasn't Rangers fans who cheated. It wasn't Rangers players who cheated. It was the people running the team. These are the people who screwed up the history. They done it for personal gain and personal recognition. They cared not for sporting integrity. They cared only for themselves. We have all based our arguement on the integrity of the sport and, rightly so, the result is positive. We must, however, do what we can, not only to see our own team survive this, but see Scottish football survive this. What a new Rangers will look like nobody knows, and it may well struggle to get near the top flight, but we must all hope that we have voiced our opinions for the benefit of the game.
  23. I think I'm right in saying that share purchases have a distinct advantage over other 'donation' methods because all of the money given goes to the club. Buying season tickets and doing player sponsorships are great but 20% of the money goes in VAT to the government (unless you are Rangers), and with other methods like sales of merchandise and 50/50 about half the money goes out as a cost of the product. And as Flower says, shares also give the holder a voice and a lasting legacy.
  24. Maybe he was just having a spring clean or something then. Have you seen that shop????? He was probably just buried alive under a heap of t shirts!
  25. Why....is there an embargo on exporting cars out of Inverness?
  26. Sorry people but theres a couple of points being missed here. Jonny hasnt yet decided what he's doing. He's been away on holiday. Obviously come back and told his agent to hang fire. Butcher is away on holiday. Jonny wants to talk with Terry before he makes a decision. Please stop the conspiracies and let time take its toll. Personally I see the guy staying.
  27. Maybe they should do what some other clubs have to do and cut their cloth to fit. Move out high earners. We have to do it. Hearts are doing it. Maybe then we'll all get to a situation where all teams can compete on fairly even terms.
