  1. This is an excellent gesture from the club. I, however, dont intend to claim the discount voucher. I expected to pay the full price anyway and the club need the money more than I do.

  3. I see the club have dropped the ST prices to the earlybird ones for a week. People who bought at full price will get a refund. It's on the ICT website not sure how to put a link on ma phone.

  4. These people are unbelievable. If Scottish football is going to die because Rangers are not in it then Regan, Doncaster and co are not doing their jobs right and should step aside now.

  5. http://www.ynsam.com/tee.php?prod=ICT_CHARITY People at the YourNotSingingAnymore website, with the help of some suggestions from those taking part, have come up with a Charity t-shirt design featuring the famous 'Paul Sheerin Parkhead Celebration' and the slogan 'Pride of the Highlands'. £10 a pop, all proceeds to Charity. If anyone wishes to purchase one and guarentee its arrival before the match next Sunday, orders need to be placed by noon tomorrow (Fri 6th July). Even still, a decent enough design shirt. Worth a look. Mods: I placed this subject seperately on this forum as there is already the sticky/pinned topic at the top of the page and some people do tend to skip pinned topics. Feel free to delete/move the post (although preferably after the order deadline stated above). Cheers

  8. You are probably correct that in the main the decision had been taken, however there appears to have been yet another example of lack of humility from Rangers, their officers and indeed their fans. They (as a club) seem to miss the point that it is their own actions which have created this situation and everyone is going to suffer as a result. To date, the only punishment against the club itself is a 10 point deduction. Other punishments are either against individuals or subject to further appeal (following the legal case). If I get this correct, Rangers fans seem to be suggesting that Newco should have been allowed to enter the SPL with no debts and no further punishment (remember the pour souls have had the 'humiliation' of administration and liquidation). I'm sure that this option will have been gladly taken up by Kilmarnock and others to get rid of the cost of servicing their own debts. The other clubs have been left in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. It was even suggested earlier by one ex-footballer that Rangers must be allowed to sign players immediately (even though they are not in any league at the moment), because otherwise it was putting at risk their chances of promostion from Division 1. The whole situation would be improved greatly if fans from outwith the old firm actively backed (and are seen to be actively backing) their clubs financially at the moment (just see the number of people on other threads giving every reason possible as to why they are not renewing their season tickets.

  9. Obviously this won't be on as Sky will cancel the TV contract now that Sevco aren't in the SPL. Rupert Murdoch is shredding the contract now and is sending James up to poison our wells and salt the earth. That's what'll happen, surely?

  10. I noticed in this mornings Daily Record the following The Headline 'OUT' After 120 years in the top flight of Scottish football, Rangers are Out I take issue with this because the club that applied for membership of the SPL has never kicked a ball Do The press not realise this is a new company with no history, and no debts. and no records I think and it is just my opinion, the NewCo should send all the parifinallia of the discredited and bancrupt earlier Rangers to the Kelvingrove museum. Just like Milton Keynes Dons did with all the relics they got from the old Wimbledon. They are now on display in the Merton Borough Town Hall. A New start a new day and forget the past Daily Record. It's history. Hanging on to diccredit past will do the Rangers no good at all.

  11. Unbelievable ! Has Regan given a seconds thought to the views of the majority of scottish football fans who would like to see sporting integrity decide in which league new rangers should play? I'm sure the SPL won't be as attractive to SKY/ESPN/etc/etc without rangers ......but neither will an SPL with rangers playing in empty stadiums all around the country as fans decide to stay away from a corrupt sport !!! I had hoped that the SFA would be impartial ? Social unrest ???? .........is that the same social unrest that comes from religious bigotry for which rangers, and celtic, are the main vehicles? I fear for the future of Scottish football with Regan and Doncaster at the helm ! :clown:

  14. Surely it could be argued that every SFL club has a vested interest? In fact, of all teams then Dundee (assuming they are the ones going up) have the least interest in the vote!!! I know it's SFL v SPL, but strange that Dundee would be deemed to have a vested interest, but Rangers (Old Co) didn't and had a vote on whether or not to submit their successors.
