  1. And some of those reserves command more in wages in a week than our entire first team does combined for the same period. I make more in a week than any ICT player , doesn't make me an SPL footballer though ! Not an SPL footballer, paid more than any ICT player, are you Ian Black?

  2. That's why he's resigning imo, he's deeply upset about some ICT fans not liking him.

  3. That's because it's not. Not even remotely.

  5. Let us not forget that the vast majority of Celtic's starting line up have represented their country so this was not a team of untalented footballers. ICT were unlucky that they didn't get the break when they were 1-2 down. Not a bad performance in the least and on another day we would have at least got a share of the points

Anyway, the point I am making is that even Celtics reserves are on a load more money than our lads are, some are internationals, most would walk into most teams in the SPL. No matter who Celtic put out it was going to be a very tough game for our guys.

  7. I know, Hooper only wishes he was as good as Billy, top scorer in his domestic league and even has an international cap........

  8. I know that was said in jest, but it highlights the ignorance that exists in regards to the whole "ism" thing (not necessarily on your part, just using this as an example). It is possible to dislike something without being intolerant of it. I don't have a particular liking for any religion, but that doesn't mean I don't respect or tolerate the beliefs and or actions of those who do. The last I checked, it wasn't illegal to walk down the street with a placard that says "I hate religion".....and until you cross the line into something like "I hate religion and all religious people should be shot"....i.e. intolerance....then you have nothing to fear from the law. Songs/Chants such as those being discussed above may be in bad taste, and I would agree with that, but that doesn't make them a crime. It's pretty much the same as some of the shouts that were coming from the other end. Butcher was getting called for all sorts and the Gazza stuff was pretty rough....again, bad taste and not welcome (IMO), but not criminal. Best thing to do with these things is to totally ignore them and not give them any "air time", because the majority of people partaking in it are only doing so to either big themselves up to their peers and/or to get a bit of attention. Take that away and they have no reason to do it and will soon get bored.

  9. hes from portugal. fatal mistake . and theres no manager in the world with more respect for mourinho than sir alex. not better, less extravagant. itll be a very good game. van persie better than ronaldo. ronaldo plays left wing/left forward usually for starters. and scores more. its no contest. in 179 games in spain hes scored 182 goals. van persie couldnt touch that record. falcao vs van persie is a much closer contest, but neither could lace cr7's nor messi's boots. dont spout the premier league is better defensively than la liga either. because it just isnt anymore.

  11. A good effort spoiled by Craig Thomson, plus Septic got lucky. Terry, please stop sending on Roberts like it is the last throw of the dice because he is just not up to it. Pepper and even Sutherland should be ahead of him in the pecking order.
