Robbielad. Yes the ticket prices were set long before we talked to the SPFL. In fact, have a look further down the thread and you'll see that the buses are being subsidised by the Scotish Sun - not the SPFL. I can't comment on last year's prices, but £20 for a national semi final and £10 for transport there and back seems cracking value to me.

I've made a few enquiries about rescheduling our preliminary plans for July, and the draft fixture list looks quite tempting. However, with the SPFL insisting that the first game kicks off at 12.30pm on a Sunday, long before even the first Megabus gets in, a fleet of jets is being arranged by CaleyJags Together to get us all over there in time. Red Stripe have kindly offered to subsidise the transport cost of this down to a very reasonable £10 per head. There will of course be a toilet stop at Broxden.

Buses will be ten quid and five quid. End of. We've spoken with the bus company and it's unlikely that we could outstrip supply unless we emptied the town completely (slight exaggeration, but you know what I mean) we are aiming for ten coaches, and as of tonight are nearly half way there but we need people to commit to coming as soon as possible. Don't leave it to the last minute - we are a bunch of volunteers with day jobs who would struggle to cope with a last minute rush. We need you to e-mail, text or phone NOW! Go and see John in the supporters bar before the United game. It's ten quid, thanks to the Scottish Sun. We wouldn't have got anywhere near them without the influence of the SPFL, who could never have sponsored one member club's supporters directly. Other clubs would have been up in arms. So no, not a waste of time and neither will the semi final be if we get there in numbers and make ourselves heard. We'll never have a better chance of reaching a final, so don't miss it. Cup Final? Now there's a day out. Does anybody want to organise the buses? Anybody..................

Is the Rumour Mill section broken?

I for one would be pleased if he returned. I felt he was under-rated when he was here because he started slowly and I think had already been written off by many as just an average player at best before he began to develop some decent form. He has good vision and IMHO is a better player than Nick Ross and would provide more incisive linkage with Doran and Mckay. He also scores more than Nick and is probably better at free kicks than anybody we have at the moment.

Why are some people so intent in reading negatives into everything? Player are given offers and often mull them over for a few weeks, speak to agents, family etc. before making any decision.

He'll be fizzing when he finds out Inverness still doesn't have a Nandos.

He may end up returning to semi-pro football. I understand Simon KIng has resumed playing at a relatively low-level in England. Hopefully Hogg can find a game somewhere.

I can't believe the people who contribute to many of the threads on this site. Not so long ago folks were complaining because we were giving short contracts and now they complain about long ones. Is it an Invernessian mannerism? Glass always half empty and all that.

And it was an absolute disgrace that The Rangers were parachuted into SFL3 without a vote on a new club gaining admittance to the SFL.

Rangers were not relegated! It's extraordinary that this perception persists for some. It should be remembered that, like Hearts, Rangers 'punishment' for going into administration was a points penalty. However, unlike Hearts, Rangers failed to come out of administration and were subsequently liquidated. This resulted in Dundee taking-up the vacant spot in the (then) SPL. That left the (then) Scottish Football league with 29 member clubs with the (then) 3rd Division requiring an additional team. Ordinarily, this would have led to a vote to elect a new member, be it Spartans, Cove Rangers or whoever, assuming they could provide 3 years of audited accounts to verify their suitability as a solvent club. As history shows, the goalposts were conveniently moved to allow the newly-formed 'The Rangers' their place in the bottom tier. A different entity but certainly not a relegated 'Rangers' team.

You are joking? I'm not "slating a player", just stating my opinion that I think he's not good enough for this level. I base that opinion on having seeing him play for us several times at under 20s and first team level. As for his family reading this, well what difference does that make? Should I say he's the next Gareth Bale in case his mum has logged in? Anyway, what I think counts for zero. If the manager thinks he's good enough then he'll play and that is the bottom line.

Perhaps it will help dispel the notion that some people have that for whatever reason Yogi is going to see players clamouring out of the door to get away from him. He's obviously a fairly popular gaffer with players. Someone that for the most is honest and friendly but would quickly turn nasty when required. Stokes would surely be a prime example of this. Clearly he's kept up a friendship which saw him rejoin his old loan gaffer at Hibs, when leaving Sunderland and still be friendly with him years on from then. He might be a doughnut but Hughes also managed to get the best out of him, form which earned him moves to Sunderland for £2m and the to Celtic from Hibs. Again as for signings. A striker on loan would be nice but aside from that, unless we lose anyone, or someone exceptional becomes available then there is no real demand for someone. I'd rather see our exciting crop of youngsters given a go at backing up the 1st team.

I'd still like to see us bring Rory back.
