I must say I'm very happy with our acquisitions this transfer window. Nice blend of youth with the signings of Mulraney, Boden and now King, and now an experienced 'old head' in McNaughton to give cover for the defence. Considering our 'bargain basement' budget, I've got a good feeling that things are going to work out just fine. Can't wait.

Looking like the squad is shaping up well with a good balance of positions. I felt we took a step back last season with new recruits early on, now it looks like a step forward to compliment our current team.

Gate prices for Cowdenbeath on Saturday: Adults £12 Concessions: £6 Concessions covers over 65s, under 16s and also Students. Looks like a good value day out to see Ritchie and boys first competitive match. Still seats available on the Caley Jags Together supporters bus too. £20 per seat.

I have no problem with social media abreviations because the name is so long. However, there was absolutely no need to change our identity on our badge.

To be fair over the years we have been known As ICTFC a lot and it works. We obviously are still Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club, this is a shortened version. We are also the pride of the highlands. i like it and in this day and age of social media people will know who we are seeing as our official Twitter with nearly 19k followers is @ICTFC

Well everybody was seeking a flurry of signings and strengthening of the squad - No complaints from me. Foran has clearly consider what positions need to be covered. He is clearly and understandably bargain basement shopping. He now has to blend the ingredients together. The proof is in the pudding which could take a bit of time to produce.

Apparently the talks started on the 12th of July.

Really dont find the idea of king billy or any of the other glasgow crap funny. One of the reasons i support caley thistle is to get away from that rubbish and enjoy songs about bridges and castles.

Last night it looked as though some of the French team did the same.

The new kits look great, really like seeing the stripes back. The badge redesign though... Not good at all. It looks amateurish, like a piece of fan art. A truly naff tagline on to an official crest dilutes the branding, uniqueness and identity to a level you'd expect from a street trader with a stall outside the ground. Really disappointed to see this move and hope that it is returned to the full title sooner (is it too late for this season?) rather than later. I completely agree with Scotty re: suitability on social media, etc. but absolutely not appropriate for a club crest.

An event that could not have been organised under the previous manager since, by the time he left, he had few friends left within the club.

I hope I am not alone here but I don't think we have had a satisfactory answer to the issue regarding our official club badge/crest. I see from the caption of our 2 new signings that the "new" format is displayed and I personally feel this cheapens the image of our club. Again, we are NOT ICTFC, we are Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC!
