  1. Seeing as this seems to be the pre match thread for the game it's worth posting this so fans who attend are aware. Hopefully as many supporters as possible join in with the applause as it would mean a lot to Dawn's family
  2. Maybe, and even if it was in fun am fed up with people making White the butt of jokes on here, am pretty sure he reads this forum too, the guy has an excellent scoring ratio at the standard he has played at so far, cut him some slack, put yourself in his shoes or boots in this case.
  3. i actually miss cb on this site
  4. A winning team would be an attraction! Or a team that wins now and again!

There may be a few decent prospects in the Highland League but the quality there is not nearly what it once was. The league have lost big sides in Caley, Thistle, Elgin, Peterhead and even County. They have been replaced numerically but by generally inferior sides from generally smaller communities. That sad fact is amply demonstrated by the fact that Highland League sides hardy ever take league scalps in the cup these days and are quite often beaten by junoir and Lowland League sides, something that would have been almost unthinkable in days of yore.
  7. ? look at all those empty seats.
  8. You are going off topic again SP. It was King Brude and St Columba at the Pictish Fort on Craig Phadrig - nowt to do with East Kilbride. Poor Alan Simpson is misinterpreted ?
  9. Had a chat with Proctor last season when they played Whitehill Welfare my wee team. Saw them in a league game this season when they beat Leith Athletic 2-0. Procs went to Airdrie as a coach but is back playing now. Will be 35 in May. The only other player you will have heard of is Chris Humphrey who was with Motherwell. Not really sure what he's doing there as he's only 31 but came out of retirement. Was released by Bury and has had a few injuries. The rest of the squad have some experience at the likes of Albion Rovers. Also the interim manager is Stuart Malcolm who was at County for 2 years. They are certs to win the LL and will probably play Cove. 2 years ago they got through to the playoff final but were a bit unlucky to lose to Cowden on penalties. Should be stuffy and hard to break down but let's face it they're level 5. The badge is the Gille-Bride or the Oystercatcher which is a symbol of St Brigit or St Bride who is associated with the town. So there.

Still seventeen games, almost half the league season, to go. Sort out our depressing tendency to fail to hang on to the lead and a play off place is still well within our grasp especially if Walsh continues his goal scoring form. We were in a far worse position this time last season yet still only fell short due to a ninety fifth minute equaliser by Dunfermline. It's not been great of late but, personally, I'm not giving up on this season just yet.

According to Charlie Trafford, Jamie McCart is going out on loan...no clues where or if he's just pulling our leg...
  12. Cheap shot, nothing wrong with White's scoring record at any of his professional clubs including ours, he's not van Basten but we are not Milan. Give the guy a break.
