The family have just shared funeral details on Facebook. Thank you for all your kind messages and cards. Ian's funeral will take place in Perth at 2pm on Friday 15 January 2021. Due to current restrictions, it will have to be private, but there will be a live stream. We'll receive the link on Thursday and will share that here for anyone who wishes to attend virtually. If you would like to make a donation in his name, we welcome contributions to Dogs Trust : https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ianbroadfoot
  2. Back on topic. Without taking anything for granted, assuming we beat Buckie, I can imagine a very large number of fans from both teams wanting to stream the El Kessicko cup tie thus generating a fair bit of income. Given that gate receipts are shared in cup ties, after deduction of reasonable expenses, it seems to me only fair, in the current circumstances, that the same should be true of this income. Especially, given that there is no scope for a replay.

Is our legend David Raven the first ex ICT player to feature in a BBC1 televised game v a Real Madrid player (Gareth Bale). He will always be an ICT legend and was great today in a non league team v Spurs. Well done, our Dave the Rave.

He’s in the starting line up, and I really hope he has a great game. Kane is not in the Spurs squad whilst Son and Bale are subs.
  5. Slightly of topic but the scorer of one of our most famous Scottish Cup goals David Raven starts for Marine against Spurs in the FA Cup today. I wonder the odds on him scoring a late winner today!
  6. From Victoria Park to Victoria Park. Could make it all the way to Hampden playing at a ground with that name if you also drew Vale of Leithen and, erm, Hartlepool.
  7. Over the next few years the pyramid system could see some decent teams join the league, such as Kelty and Bonnyrigg. Add that to Cove emerging and Queens Park investing to progress, some established teams will suffer. We need to ensure we are not one of those teams that drops down as a result.
  8. Watched the 2nd half and extra time. Bonnyrigg played very well and might even have snatched an equaliser with the last kick of the game. There are decent players at the lower levels and they are increasingly well organised. And, of course, the players will always give their all when there is a chance of being part of a cup upset. I am sure it will be drilled into the players that they will need to be on their game.
  9. Dundee’s game tonight should be used to ensure we are not complacent on Tuesday (if it goes ahead then) as they only got to extra time with a stoppage time equaliser and Bonnyrigg led again in extra time. I didn’t watch it but was hoping when I checked the scores that Dundee would have lost.
  10. Where the main attractions were a bunch of daffodils from Howden's and a red pudding supper from the chipper.😁
  11. Yes, Mr Preece might have taught you the way to Telford Street😊

Loads of interviews on You tube with David before the his game v Spurs on Sunday (on BBC btw). I'm glad his recent red card has not precluded him from playing in that match. He has become quite the celeb in the past few weeks it seems. So I'm looking forward to a good week-end football viewing on TV. Hopefully our match v Buckie will be streamed on Saturday, and then seeing how DR copes with marking Harry Kane on Sunday. Good luck to him, and of course to ICT. I wouldn't mind one surprise 'underdog' victory on the w/end, but not, of course, two.
  13. The last time I was at Victoria Park Buckie was on the 21 November 1993. This was to see my beloved Jaggies take on the Buckie Jags, the game ended in a 2-2 draw. It was always a hard fought game against Buckie, and it would have been great to go back after so many years.
  14. Still livid that some Chinese bloke caused a domino effect that led to us not being able to go to our biggest game of the season.
