I really despair when I see posts like this. Supporters support the team and should do so. By all means have a go at the manager (I didn't want him either) or the board but the team on the pitch needs supported, not by far ns staying away. You don't go to football matches with a guarantee of entertainment but some fans seem to think that is their right. The players do, by and large, seem to be playing for the team hence they should have our support. We are no longer a Premier league team and some fans need a reality check on that. We are a Championship quality team and that is unlikely to change soon. Key to next season is getting the right manager in.7 points

Am I the only one who thinks this way - as our Director of football I would expect John Robertson to be at our game, not at the County game doing commentary on the radio? As far as I understand he is partly at least responsible for our signings, how does he know what we need if he is only at half the games? Rant over!4 points

In a league where literally anybody can beat anybody, where home advantage rarely seems to be one, is a draw away from home a bad result? Especially coming back twice from being behind. I'd say that it was pretty decent, given that surely RR by dint of averages must beat us eventually! Yes you could argue that if Hamilton and Arbroath can win away etc etc, but an away point is still good in my book. We are slowly getting bodies back, we've scored 12 goals in 4 matches, we kept a clean sheet against the league leaders just recently [a team that played us off the park in the previous meeting].....are we putting on dazzling displays each week, perhaps not.... are we hanging on in there after a torrid winter with an injury crisis, yes we are! two points off the play-offs, 9 off automatic promotion {with every side above us to be played twice again] with the likes of Ayr, Dundee and Partick to be played twice again. We don't have any financial advantage over any other side in the mix, Is the likes of Henderson making a difference? I'd say yes [as was Shaw until he got injured], we've not lost since his arrival which is also helping Billy Mac [and Doran is making a contribution]. The management must be confident of seeing Samuels, Sutherland and Walsh back soon to let Oakley go, and suddenly our subs bench looks a whole lot better. Who knows we could soon see Allardyce, Welsh and D Mackay in the same midfield. Do I think Dodds is the right guy for us, I'm not sure...the guy who gave us a real buzz was Neil McCann, but he didn't want to stay, but we have Dodds, he can get us going on good runs, he needs to able to stop the bad runs quicker. I still think we have a chance this season and I'm booked with my wife to come up for the last home game of the season...I kinda of feel it will be good trip Yes...I know I'm certifiable, but I'm still loving supporting Caley {but then I support Palace too, so I know what rollercoaster experiences feel like]4 points

I agree with Huiseans post but, for fans there is the enjoyment factor of supporting our team. At Raith, I and a quite a few others chose our seats, up high, away from the sun, good view of the whole pitch. Then the young fans arrived, around us. Good, plenty atmosphere, craic ok. Until the flares - not thrown (could be identified on cctv) so just put on rows around us. Choking. I found a Covid mask and put it on. It is unbelievable to see the colour from the flare which came out of my lungs into the inside of the mask. Please, please, these flares are damaging lungs and people’s health. I can show the mask. I enjoy the craic, the singing, but it’s a shame that I now have to ensure I have a mask to help my health if I’m around our young fans. Strange days indeed, following ICT.3 points

We finished 5th the season Dodds took over, then finished 3rd at the end of his first season and were 45 mins away from promotion. This season we’re back to 5th. I’m not sure he’s been any worse than what we’ve had since John Hughes. Let’s see how we get on when some of the injured players get back.3 points

Sorry but can't see this? Don't for a minute believe the last bit either regardless of what he's saying3 points

It does seem odd that he chooses to do other paid work on a match day. He doesn’t NEED to be at our matches, as he’s not part of the coaching set up, and as for scouting, his job is not to identify what we need but to go out and find what the manager says we need - but still, you’d think he’d WANT to be at matches.3 points

No, he explained what the role was and what additional projects Robbo had been working on. I think it was pretty clear for anyone who was prepared to listen with an open mind. Whether or not a club in our predicament can afford to have a DoF role is certainly up for debate, but as the position only came about because Robbo had 2 years left on his managerial contract, I doubt we’ll be retaining that structure unless we somehow get promoted.2 points

We could win every game between now and the end of the season and I don't think it would make me feel any different. ICT has become a hollow, soulless club. The football is not entertaining, the feeling of being a part of things has gone and watching so many people off the pitch stealing a wage is unbearable.2 points

What is the role and job spec of the Director of Football? This post seems to be relatively new in the football world. Certainly a post you never heard of back in the day. Maybe they do a lot of work in the background that fans never to get to know about. To me, with all due respect to Robbo, it's seems like a post we can ill afford.2 points

Think there are a lot of us season ticket holders now not using them . Anyone that knows anything about football can see how backwards we have gone with Dodds . Certainly can’t see me renewing mine which is sad really .Drawing with Raith is not a good result and should not be applauded as some are doing . He is extremely lucky the club is not in a financially strong footing as he would be long gone . Very poor appointment at the time which looks like we are now stuck with till the end of season . Roll on the end of this era.2 points

Regardless of what he does or doesn't do, in my eyes in his role as Director of Football, he should be at ours games, no ifs or buts or if he wants to be or not. He should be told that it a requirement of his role.2 points

Maybe he's building networks for future signings and loans from county or any opposition? Then again could just be loving the double dipping pay days.2 points

This situation sadly sums the club up currently - comical! The job was purely created to keep Robbo in a role as we couldn't afford to pay him off.1 point

Doubt at any point a contract would have a legal standing to try include a clause staring it would reduce your renumeration in accordance with benefits from other incomes, or anyone would sign it. Additionally any other incomes or contracts will be covered by confidentiality clauses so he wouldnt be able to disclose terms.1 point

I don’t think Robbo should be doing the reporting of other games. However, it may be that his salary with us has been reduced to reflect his role with the BBC, which I’d be fine with. If that is the case, the club should be open with fans and I’m sure we’d understand the position and be a lot more comfortable with. One thing he did say today is that when he and Dodds discuss signings, Dodds has the final say.1 point

Did Scot Gardiner not tell us on the podcast that we were all too stupid to understand the position that Robertson held, so there was no point trying to explain it?0 points
