  1. You said you wouldn't attend the Semi-final because tickets prices were too high, and then criticise the Supporters Trust for suggesting the SFA should reduce ticket prices for the final. Make your mind up! Do you want lower prices which make going to games more affordable for fans or do you want higher prices so the club gets more from gate receipts? I can't answer for the Supporters Trust as I'm not on its Board any more, but I read the comment about reducing prices as a tongue in cheek remark. We all know that the SFA aren't going to reduce ticket prices just because our Supporters Trust has made that suggestion, nor is there any serious prospect of them putting the kick off time back to 3 O'clock. But at least the Trust is speaking out on behalf of the Supporters and getting a bit more publicity about the SFA's shameful decision.

  2. Having downloaded a ChatGPT app yesterday, I asked it for a poem in the style of William McGonagal about ICT winning the cup final. Within 20 seconds or so, this is what it gave me and I’d say it met the spec pretty well. Enjoy! Oh, listen well, good people all, and hear my tale today Of Inverness Caledonian Thistle's most triumphant play For on the third of June, in Hampden Park so grand They faced the mighty Celtic, the best team in the land The air was thick with tension as the two teams took the field And all across the country, fans were watching, hearts congealed But Inverness Caledonian Thistle had a secret ace His name was Billy Mckay, and he would soon take his place The game began with Celtic on the front foot, full of fire But Inverness Caledonian Thistle would not tire They held their ground, they made their mark, they fought with all their might And then, at last, the moment came, the moment of delight For Billy Mckay, that hero brave, had found his chance at last He scored not once, not twice, but thrice, and all the fans amassed Did cheer and shout and sing his name, as Celtic hung their heads For Inverness Caledonian Thistle had won, and Celtic's hopes were dead Oh, what a day, what a glorious sight, to see the underdog win To see the joy on faces, to hear the mighty din For Inverness Caledonian Thistle had done what none thought they could They'd beaten Celtic fair and square, and proved their mettle good So here's to Billy Mckay, that hero of the hour And here's to Inverness Caledonian Thistle's awesome power For on that famous day in June, they showed us all their might And won the Scottish Cup, a victory oh so bright!

  4. Think the cheap tickets suggestion muddies the waters? Think we need to keep pressure up for 3pm and then transport solutions personally.

  7. A very busy month with 7 games played 1 draw and 6 won including the Scottish Cup Semi-final. Also a lot more votes with the team playing well including 41 for the cup game. A big thank you to all who voted. The winner for April is Nathan Shaw Our big game tomorrow night will decide if we play any more games in May before our Cup Final in June. Please keep the votes coming in as it's close at the top.

  11. I understand the frustration here, but why does anyone think that the fans opinions matter any more regarding the timing of the cup final kick off? The game, (born and developed from is working class origins) has completely changed in just about every aspect and is now a ruthless hard nosed business industry. Money drives the full agenda and if the fans views of biggest and best club in Scotland are ignored regarding the kick off time, well do I need to go further……. It’s just the reality of the sport we, (I mean the season ticket holders - not the cup final attendees) choose to continue to watch. Old habits are hard too ……. Just try and enjoy the final on the day!

  13. I'm sure we will come down and stay somewhere probably, but you are right - it just sucks the fun out of it all. It also takes away the opportunity to party all the way home on the train (always fun - win or lose) and more partying in Inverness later. I think I would have even preferred the early kick off, but I'm disgusted that we are expected to accept either option instead of the 3pm kick off.

  15. The club’s statement, also indicating we may get ticket news tomorrow: https://ictfc.com/club-statement-scottish-cup-final/ I fully understand the comments above but I’m definitely going. Who’d have thought when we “lost” to Queens Park on 31 January that we’d be at Hampden on 3 June for our second Scottish Cup final in eight years! I also think it is time for the small number of negative posters on here to recognise the (albeit unexpected) achievement and be more positive in their posts. Yes, they may want a change of Manager or in the Boardroom, but now is a time to enjoy the moment. Goodness knows when it may happen again. That said, we must focus on Friday and get the win we need to get into the play offs.

  16. Can’t see us taking the full allocation now tbh. Public transport after the game not an option. Buses will be scarce as Celtic supporters will hire buses as well and don’t forget all the cruise ships in Invergordon the buses go there all the time as well. Will either be stop over in Glasgow or own transport which isn’t an option for everyone. Being shafted for another country’s cup final is an absolute disgrace
