They certainly know how to find the back of the net! Great to see them doing so well and I hope they’re building up a decent support behind them. Embarrassingly I have to admit I know sod all about the league structure for the ladies, about time I checked it out.2 points

From what I have heard, I am really hoping the board are working on getting Wotherspoon's contract extended until at least the end of the season....... Looking forward to going to East End Park on Saturday.....1 point

Great job by Harper to spot the run for the second, and a perfectly weighted ball for Wotherspoon. That's the kind of play that comes from a bit of if confidence and trusting in your teammates. I know I'm only basing it on a few highlights, but the team are looking sharper and fitter throughout the squad. Promotion play-off places are not beyond us, but given where we've been I'll take survival at this point and something to build on next season. We just need to get far enough from the bottom that a points deduction for administration doesn't also relegate us.1 point

A hat trick for Aaron Nicolson in the North of Scotland Cup Final, helping Nairn beat Ross County 5-4 after extra time.1 point

At the start of the season the team didn’t have Wotherspoon, Anderson, Ujdur or Boyes who are all first team regulars now. IMO back then the playoffs were something we could perhaps hope for but certainly not expect, regardless of who the manager was.1 point

Three first half goals! I can't remember when that happened last! We scored our goals at good times, and credit to Billy Mckay for his never give up attitude for starting the run for the first goal. He covers every blade of grass. My only criticism is why we never leave a player up on the centre line when we concede corners, it doesn't give us an out ball, and just invites our opponents to start another attack. So, hopefully a good weeks training and on to Dunfermline, and if we can get a win there, it will put us on the same points, which I couldn't even thought about not that long ago.1 point

Nice to see a team that looks coached and has a bit of identity about how they are trying to play after the past seasons of drifting along. Still a work in progress but also nice to not feel the urge to fall asleep1 point

That's two weeks in a row that Davy Carson gets subbed and we concede!! Thought we got a bit cocky early in the second half and by not adding to the score gave Ayr a chance to get back into the game. Max Anderson was quite a miss methinks second half. Based on Friday night's TV game, Dunfermline next Saturday will be very tough. However, things are beginning to brighten up. In some ways today's performance was not as good as the draw against United so plenty of work next week on the training ground. Latterly Under Dodds home crowds raced for the exits after games. Today it was noticeable how the crowds at the end gathered to acknowledge the team and Manager. Moving in the right direction.1 point

Wow that was a great first half it's been a long time coming! Although we were under pressure after Ayr scored their penalty we never looked like loosing like last season. Well done to Big Dunc and all the team1 point

One of the challenges in games like this is that we generally have a blended squad if first team, fringe and U18 players who aren't used to playing together. I'd much rather we just stuck out our U18s and allowed them to get the experience, and would also be more in the spirit of us entering this tournament.1 point
