  1. When the Board talk of unity, what they mean is that the supporters should meekly accept and support whatever decisions the club makes.

  2. Given the significant concerns voiced by fans about relegation and events within the club, the Supporters Trust is holding a Fans Meeting at 7pm on Tuesday 4 June at the Caley Club. All fans are welcome to attend the meeting, where members of the Supporters Trust Board will lead a discussion on the serious issues facing the club, update on recent activity by the Trust and hear your views on steps the Trust can take at this time. 3. Charles has rightly pointed out previously that you can't simply sack the Board unless you have others primed to take over and put the money in that the current Directors have over the years. For that reason and because he has been a long term fan and, as Fraz points out, has the best interests of the club at heart, I would not object to Morrison remaining on the Board. I do, however, think that there is an urgent need for him to be replaced as Chairman. He alienated a lot of the local community over his role in the concert company and has repeated that with his mishandling of the Battery Storage project. His credibility is shot and the club is not going regain the trust and support of the local business community or the Highland Council whilst he remains at the helm. The club has 6 other directors on the Board. They also have to take responsibility here as decisions taken in the past will have been collective ones. It is high time they stopped passively acquiescing to the Chairman and CEO and showed some collective leadership to address the real issues.

  4. I feel Morrison's heart is in the right place and that he does ultimately have the best interest of ICT in mind. However he does have to take responsibility for the appointments he's made and allowed as Chairman. An extension of that is his lack of oversight of the CEO and the day to day running of the club. I'm certain that Scot Gardiner, being a control freak, narcissist and champion bullshitter would be telling him all about how amazing things were going, and how great he's doing but Morrison should have been keeping his finger on the pulse better. We'll see if he can take action to finally correct that.

  5. It's not much of a defence if he looks at all fans as if they're dirt under his shoe! Not too strong on the "unity" there, either. Clearly there's a "them" and "us", where the fans are a subspecies, whose voices don't count - but they'll take our money and throw out a platitude here and there in the desperate hope of keeping that going.

  7. Most of the season ticket holders I've spoken with have said they won't be back if Gardiner is still there. I wouldn't trust the club to make good decisions with the money under the current CEO and manager anyway so why give them more money to waste on their pals and bolster their ego?

  9. Sounds like a principled stance, however all this does is weaken the finances at our club and increase those of our competitors. In another years time everyone will say we should have invested more or done better if results dont go our way yet individuals including fans need to be honest about their roles in that case.

  10. Like you and I Dougal people change over the years. I can't believe that most of our support will not totally admire CC for standing up against a very controlling organisation, despite the damage that he may experience in retaliation. We need more ex-players and employees to speak out against our the tyranny.

  11. I think that’s all fair comment, but is it not simply a case of he who pays the piper calls the tune?

  12. But not the main two we are asking to be removed. Personally, I want Gardiner and Ferguson gone as they manage the day-to-day activities on and off the field. They have no loyalty to the club beyond that of employer and employee (and that's both fine and fair). The chairman on the other hand has 'skin in the game'. He was an ICT supporter long before he was chairman and is one of those dipping his hand in his pocket. Both of those facts complicate any call for his head ... However, he himself may feel he has to fall on his sword as the head of the board that employed the aforementioned pair in the same way that Kenny Cameron did when we were relegated from the Premiership.

  13. The winner for this season voted for by you is our very own local player Cameron Harper. Will that ever happen again I wonder? Cameron has had a steady season picking up points throughout only winning it by a large amount of votes in May right down to the last game. He had 43 appearances this season scoring 3 goals against Arbroath, Queens Park and Morton picking up two yellow cards in the season, a good all round player. Where will he be next season we don't know? I would like him to sign on again but think he will move on and deserves a chance to prove himself at a higher level. Player of the Year Winner with 69 points is Cameron Harper Second with 68 points Alex Samuel Third with 58 points Cameron Kerr Fourth with 53 points Billy Mckay Fifth with 51 points Max Anderson Sixth with 50 points Nathan Shaw Monthly Winners July Nathan Shaw August Keith Bray September Morgan Boyes October Nikola Ujdur November David Wotherspoon December Billy Mckay January Alex Samuel February Alex Samuel March Cameron Kerr April Alex Samuel May Cameron Harper Well done Cameron and all the best for the future where ever you are playing football. 14. Thanks for doing this all season and a well deserved winner. It is such a shame that the club did not do awards this season as I suspect Cammy would have been the fans’ choice so he’s been deprived of that glory.

  15. Mastering the photos is easy, but I'd be embarrassed to show you my efforts at shooting movies... I was at my Shetland in-laws last summer and I flew it from Mainland to Mousa and back. Total of 7km. A big test, a bit nervous but it was fine. Apparently if you have line of sight it can go about 8km away. Here's the Hebridean Isles arriving at Port Askaig last month.

  17. Just after we got relegated we took Buckie's captain on trial, Kevin Fraser, and wanted to sign him but expected them to just release him for nothing. They didn't and he never signed. We also had Blair Yule on trial that close season, he was highly rated at the time coming out of the Highland League with Cove. Arbroath signed him in League one for a year and then he returned to Cove where he's been every since. I think I'm right that Scott Davidson, centre-forward who previously played for Fort William also trialled with us that summer but we didn't take him and he's continued playing in the Highland League for various clubs. Not sure of other Highland league players we've had on trial since then. Do we even scout the HL?

  22. My hunch is that Ferguson will stay but changes on the board. Christie’s comments are spot on.

  23. Charlie's comments aren't exactly following the corporate line. I hope he is not speaking out like this now because he knows he and the youth set up at the club are going to victims of the structural reorganisation.

  24. “My priorities are to build a strong support team to generate the income needed to field a side capable of progressing to the Premiership of the SPFL and – parallel to that work – develop a strategy for the club which will give confidence to the local and regional business community as we look to garner their support for what is, after all, their team" Scot Gardiners own words 5 years ago. Using the above as a bench mark for performance he has been an abject failure in his role at the club. He may well have built a strong support team but then so did Stalin and we all know what happened during the purges. He is a barrier to the club achieving improvement in all 3 areas identified and there is tangible evidence to support that supposition

  25. Fraz - sorry for the sarcastic interruption - It says a lot when CC makes that statement - Let's hope that more icons join in the chorus. Wyness Shuffle should seek out opinions - please.

  26. The only reason we still have a club today is because some of those clowns you are catcalling are personally footing the bills. As far as whether we have a club tomorrow it depends on what bills we can pay then. I'd rather keep the people paying and get rid of the people playing and managing at this point. But the board also have to protect their investment and minimise their losses by improving performance, player development and customer satisfaction as these are all revenue streams. The failures in these 3 areas are a concern for everyone at the club.

  27. Spot on. Only way out is with a decent team and a decent manager. Sadly we are lacking on both counts. If we save some money by booting Gardiner then we might be able to afford a manager with some experience. Taking the cheap option and hiring rookies has got us in this mess.

  29. Tbh, we'd all do the same wouldn't we, regardless of love (or maybe lack of) for the club, you would accept it and would definitely be laughing about it especially when you are freelancing all over the place at the same time.

  31. Don't get me wrong I know there is a lot to discuss and consider following the events of last week. However the statement yesterday was a non event. Sure something released on Sunday along the lines of "This was certainly not the plan and relegation is a disappointment to us all. Over the next days and weeks we will come together as a club, discuss, formulate and strategies before we make further comment. We thank you for your support, and we will return to you with answers etc soon." At the moment we no nothing. I suspect the staff and remaining players know very little too. A club who has become so disjointed within that breweries and **** ups come to mind

  32. I’ve always renewed my season ticket but whilst the CEO is still here my money stays in my wallet. I’ve spent loads over the years on ICT but the CEO obviously dodged the training in interpersonal skills as, when I’ve been anywhere nearby him, he looks at me as if I’m dirt under his shoes. I’ve worked and been a team member in high places with people who valued me. My ICT cash has gone towards his likely inflated wage so, until he goes, ICT will miss out. I don’t think I’m alone in my thoughts.

  37. I get your point but unfortunately there are very few other ways for fans so show their feelings to the board. This situation where fans feel they are now so disconnected with the club hasn't happened overnight. There has been fans meeting etc but nothing is getting through to the board. In the statement Ross Morrison talked about unity. If him and the board really beleive this then the only actions fans have to make them sit up and listen is by withholding money buy not renewing season tickets etc. Its not something most fans want to do but what is the other option to get change?
