  1. I hope he does well. Apparently Neil Lennon is being given funds to make an attack on the championship with hopes of getting them back up to the top league. I think there will be many more signings Charlie might not get the game time but hopefully he does. He will be on much better wages All the best Charlie a rock steady performer in the middle of the park

  2. A big thank you to everyone who came along to help yesterday. We achieved a lot, some things that will be visible when you are next in the bar, and improvements behind the scenes that will make life easier for our bar volunteers. We will probably have one more volunteer day in the coming weeks, and will advise of the date once we have firmed it up. Thank you again to everyone who helped yesterday.

  3. Why? Central belt, twice the size of our club, more money, higher league.

  5. Yes it's dog eat dog, winner takes all. There was near euphoria on this forum when County got promoted: "local derbies!" they said. "2 Highland SPL teams!" they said. "good publicity for the North!" they said. Some of us knew though, that only one would prevail, and that would be to the detriment of the other. I sorta hoped it would be us!

  6. When we got relegated from the Premiership under Foran a lot of posters on here thought a few seasons out of the Premiership would be fun! As I and a few other argued at time it would go on to leave us in financial difficulties due to our neighbours hoovering up money from sponsors/hospitality etc due to being in a higher league. No I don't feel sorry for them. I'd rather concentrate on our own team tbh

  10. Happy on both fronts. Great when someone other than the twins win something and whilst I had no soft spot for Aberdeen when I went to university there, nor when we played them in cup games, I softened on them in 2004 when they helped us out with a groundshare, getting us into the SPL. Also lots of player history between the clubs, and the recent loaning of players to us under administration may well have helped keep us in L1. Delighted for Shinnie as well. 300th appearance, lifting the cup twice in 10 years with two different clubs, great stuff.

  11. Ryan Christie voted Supporters' Player of the Year. The 30-year-old attacking midfielder was named Supporters’ Player of the Year at the club on the final day of the English Premiership season. Christie, who has been with the Cherries for four years since signing in 2021, played 33 matches for Bournemouth this season and helped them reach ninth place in the English Premiership. The club released a statement on why Christie received the award saying: “A heartbeat in the Cherries’ midfield, Ryan Christie was a model of consistency, determination and quality across the campaign.
