There are a lot of changes happening this season with regards to the buses and advertising. Details are just being finalised, working in conjunction with the club. So for the start of the season, we hope to be adverting in a lot more places, especially for people not on social media.

Unfortunately I never got the win! The Dr stopped the fight between the first and second round due to some heavy damage I took in the closing seconds that left me with a bleeding nose that wouldn't stop. My opponent was the better man, but I did shake him early on. Very proud of myself despite getting beaten up as thanks to people like you guys I have raised an incredible amount of money for a charity that supports families like ours who have gone through hell. Thank you so much to those of you who have donated. For anyone else who may still wish to contribute, the page remains live for a month after the event. I'm off to tend to my two black eyes and broken nose (not joking) :)

Rules and Instructions for playing the Nutters Prediction League (NPL) for the 2021/22Season. CHANGES to CROWD section for 2021/22 How to Play - General Information To take part in the NPL all you have to do is simply predict the following for all First Team Inverness Caledonian Thistle matches. Competitions covered in the NPL are: The Championship; League Cup; SPFL Trust Trophy* and SFA Cup. *SPFL Trust Trophy games will be HT and FT ONLY The Half Time (HT) score. The Full Time (FT) score. The scorer of the First goal for ICT. The scorer of the first goal for the opposition and The Crowd / Attendance figure. This section is being reinstated as of Game 08 for League games only. There is no need to register for this game. Just enter your prediction on the Gringo’s NPL Board on the forum before the match kicks off. Each game will be posted on the board approx’ two weeks before the fixture (if I remember!). If you are going away on your holidays etc and the games you wish place a prediction on have not been posted, then please PM me your selections and will do my best to post them for you. Post your prediction in the following format:- HT: FT: 1st Scorer ICT: 1st Scorer Opp: Crowd: (Just copy and paste the above format onto the board and add your predictions) For Example:- Gringo HT: 0-0 FT: 2-1 1st Scorer ICT: Anybody 1st Scorer Opp: Bonehead Crowd: 3345 Important To avoid losing points, please use the same 'username' throughout the contest. The Rules / Scoring system All predictions should be posted before kick off, it is up to you to check k.o. times and post accordingly No excuses! ALL entries posted after k.o. (even 1 sec over) will NOT be accepted. Very often the match thread will be automatically locked at the scheduled kick off time regardless of whether the match has physically kicked off or not so please post early to avoid disappointment. Each game will be advertised on the Gringo's NPL board approx' two weeks or so before the game. These games will remain on the board throughout the season and, where possible, will be locked after kick off or some other time convenient to me. H-T and F-T Correct Scores You will be awarded 1 pt for each correct score (1-0) and result (h, a or d) + a bonus of 2pts for an all correct prediction. I.E If you predict a 1-0 score and the actual score is 2-0 you will be awarded 1 pt for the 'home' result and 1pt for the '0' score. If the score was 1-0 you would get 1pt for the '1', 1pt for the '0' and 1pt for the 'home' result plus a bonus of 2pts for an all correct answer giving you a max 5pts. (Sounds complicated but it will become as clear as mud as the game progresses). So, basically, a correct score is worth 5 points. Please note that, unless you state otherwise in your prediction, the first score you give will always be regarded as the 'home' team. First Scorer ICT/ Opposition /Use of Surnames You will be awarded 2pts for a correct answer. OG's do count but only if you state this at the time and for the correct team. Please be aware of teams who have the same players surname in their line ups (including those on the bench) so please state clearly which player you have selected by using their first name(s). Failure to clarify this WILL result in a loss of points if that player scores. Crowd Section reinstated from Game 08 You will be awarded 10 pts if you are bang on and 5pts if you are no more than 100 out – over or under. The crowd figure will be determined by those displayed on the BBC Football Web Site. If for some reason this site does not publish the crowd figure an alternative recognised web site will be used. This would probably be the SPFL Official web site. If there are no correct predictions (10 pointers) for the crowd then the nearest entrant to the actual figure will be awarded TWO bonus points. If there is a tie for this honour all involved will receive the two points. The JOKER For 2021/22 please refer to the separate thread regarding your JOKER entitlement. Using a Joker will DOUBLE your points tally for that game. Only one joker per game can be used. Use them wisely on games you are very confident on getting loads of points. The Joker CAN be used on any Bonus Point games but any Bonus Points won will NOT be doubled. To use your Joker simply add **JOKER** at the end of your prediction. The winner of the 2021/22 NPL will be able to use three jokers the following season. Those finishing in the next nine positions will qualify for two Jokers and all others will only get one. Cup Matches Cup matches will be based on 90 mins only (which includes time added on for stoppages). Extra time does not count. There will be no extra points awarded for extra-time scores / pens etc. Any games played on a neutral ground the home team will be notified on the appropriate game thread. Bonus points From time to time I will select a match where bonus points will be available. All bonus point matches and details of how to win these points will be advertised on the specific thread. Please look out for them as they could appear at any time. Abandoned / Postponed Matches Abandoned and Postponed matches will be VOID and all entries will be cancelled. They will NOT be carried over for the re-arranged fixture unless otherwise stated. Notes on 1st scorer A point was raised about naming a first scorer after predicting a '0' scoreline. It was suggested that the entrant should put 'None' or No Scorer in the first scorer section and be awarded the 2pts. As far as I am concerned if there isn’t a goal there cannot be a 'first scorer'. I have no problem with entrants naming a 'first scorer' and predicting a '0' scoreline. It will be accepted. (Affectionately known as Gringo’s Law) Posting for other players / Multiple Postings You can post a prediction on behalf of another entrant (with their permission!) but please specify clearly who the prediction is for. Posting a series of predictions is also permitted but please make sure all the entrants names are on the respective entries. Notes on Correcting your Prediction Corrections to your prediction(s) can me made prior to kick-off by either using the edit facility on the original post or, alternatively, just re-post the whole prediction. In all cases the later prediction is used when the NPL spreadsheet is compiled. Scores and Updates Results and Tables from completed Games will be posted as soon as possible after each game. As I am the only person running the NPL, delays to updates can be expected due to holidays and going to watch ICT etc. As a general rule I will attempt to get the update on the NPL Board no later than two hours after the match. An expected update time will be advised on the respective Game Thread. Championship Tie In the event of a tie for first place, positions will be decided by the amount of correct scores (HT/FT 5 pointers) you have got, if there is still a tie after that the amount of correct scorers will be used. If it is still tied after that then I will use the average points system. This system will also be used to determine the 'Euro' positions for the benefit of the Joker quota for the following season. Prize Unfortunately I have had to withdraw the prize of a small-engraved trophy. The trophy was always purchased locally but the company has since closed. Alternatives are too expensive for my meagre pension. Bragging rights will be yours though for an entire season and your name etched into the Role of Honour for the NPL. The top ten positions will be regarded as qualifying for Europe and will be inscribed on the NPL Honours list.

Roberts definitely showed flashes of potential. Think his release is probably down to injury concerns, or possibly attitude rather than ability. Players should be judged for their net contribution over an entire season. Sadly Roberts impressive snowing were few and far between. We need value for money.

as ive said before, this information really needs to be on the main ICTFC.com website, perhaps a link on the fixtures page or the ticket info page? I think your missing out on a lot of people who either don't use facebook or don't use forums or don't use either.......

To be fair to Willie Miller if you listen to the programme, he actually comes into defend ICT. It was during a discussion about youth academies and he highlighted that financial constraints meant for us, establishing such an establishment is very difficult. Granted he might not have quite correct in what he was saying, but those looking at this as some sort of attack on ICT on his part are incorrect.

Danny MacDonald is the "Strategic Development Executive" and now has overall responsibility for progressing Community, Youth & Football Development Departments. The heads of each of those departments under Danny's remit are Craig Masterton, Charlie Christie & Duncan Shearer. Interesting article. I read the comments of Tommy Wilson with interest as it pertains to MLS but its really chalk and cheese. There is a requirement for all MLS teams to have an academy and these form part of the 'must have' items when any new team pays its $100m fee to be awarded an MLS franchise. The financial numbers in MLS, with every team backed by big owners, are colossal in comparison to the SPFL but the stated aim is the same - to develop the game in the USA to a point where they are perpetual powerhouses in the Copa America and World Cup. Canada - by default - may benefit from this because Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto also have academies with a focus on developing Canadian talent and both Edmonton and Ottawa have emerged from the lower leagues to be potential MLS candidates in coming years too. Not sure about the youth academies in Montreal and Vancouver but the Toronto one is regarded as being world class and has seen a conveyor belt of players come through into the first team over the last 10 years and recent Canadian squads have had a total of 17 - mostly U23 - players (out of 32 used) who play their football domestically for one of the three Canadian MLS teams. Interesting times ahead in 5-10 years I think. I know from speaking with a few folk around the club on my recent trip that ICT realise how important youth is and I think we will definitely see some movement on this front but its a hard sell to a lot of other folk. We dont have a lot of money, but you do need money to develop youth. youth will not impact the team instantly so in some eyes its not money well spent. The challenge seems to be persuading some folk that a long term 5-10 year strategy is worth it and how to balance that with budgets elsewhere. Its a huge juggling act when you are operating a business that by default makes a loss every year without cup runs and cash windfalls but once its up and running then it has the potential to be a conveyor belt like some other clubs have. It was also interesting to read Willie Miller mention Iceland and Scot Gemmill minimise them saying we beat them recently (and therefore inferring we must be better) as thats puts both sides of the argument in a nutshell for me. I dont think I have ever said this before but I agree with Willie Miller and Scot Gemmill reminds me of the old duffers at Park Gardens in Ernie Walker's day who believed Scotland were a world power who would always be that without effort !!! Iceland is a good example of football on the rise and the scale is comparable to Scotland. In fact, they only have 325,000 inhabitants so what they have achieved in the last few years is nothing short of remarkable and a testament to the plan they set out to achieve. The FIFA rankings also dont lie (much) ... Iceland has climbed from 110 to 33 in the last 5 years and are running out at Euro 2016, whereas Scotland have typically hovered in the 45-55 range and haven't qualified for a major tournament since France 98. We stopped in Iceland for 5 days on our way back from our recent trip and to say they are fanatical about their football is an understatement. The national stadium holds only 15000 fans (and only 9800 seated) but there are stadia all over the place. We had lunch in a small town called Grindavik (pop 3000) and it has a tidy looking 1700 capacity single stand stadium. There are 4 divisions of 12-12-12-10 and 4 more provincial/regional leagues of 7-7-7-6 clubs for a total of 73 teams !!! They know they have their limitations, but as they do in life, they also set out to overcome those limitations in sport and it seems to have met with an element of success. I am going to be cheering them on later today as they face up to the challenge of Portugal !

I can't confirm or deny the price RC are charging for disabled as their website doesn't mention this category but I would ask this: Does their price include free entry for carer? I also note they are charging £25 for U-12's whereas ours are free.

shocking to see that ross county fc has a far better disabled season tickets prices than caley thistle do for a county one is £165 and a caley one is £315 due to your age your are disabled all your life what has age got to do with a season ticket will done ross county fc they care about disabled people
