Getting rid of Robbo would be folly. 1. We'd have to pay significant gardening leave yet again. 2. Who would we bring in that could realistically do a better job? 3. We've no money to pay 2 managers yet again. 4. He's doing the best he can petty much. (imo).

If we chucked out Robbo we would be paying out more gardening fees than Alan feckin Titchmarch

Hughes should have left this club as a Legend, but his manner of departure soured it all

I don't dislike Butcher or Hughes for the manager's they were while they were here (though I didn't agree with everything they did of course). It was the manner they departed that dissappointed and annoyed me, for different reasons. Foran was of course a mistake from the get go and a shambles from start to finish.

Personally I think Robbo is doing a good job with the resources he has got

That hurt. Finally, it confirmed that we are destined to be a mid-table team for the second season running. Winning the league has long gone and we'll need a very decent run to get in the play-offs. The problem is simple on the face of it, but very difficult to rectify: we regularly "win" games in terms of performance, but contrive to lose or draw them at full time. The difference today was - quite simply - Dobbie. What to do? A change of personnel will certainly shake things up, but be careful what you wish for. The club is not in a financial position to buy what it needs and pointing the finger at the likes of Liam Polworth is ludicrous. Maybe he needs to leave to salvage his career, but from what I've seen this season, he's one of only a handful that really has the ability to swing a game. If his form has dipped, the boo boys are responsible. We have 3 months to scrap tooth and nail for a play off place with a mediocre squad and little chance of a saviour in the window. It is not the fault of board or management - just reality. Good luck to Robbo and the boys - they're going to need all our support to stand any chance.

Whats done is done now let's focus on where we are now and what team is needed to move forwards and provide success and stability which right now is around robbo.

The board stopped big yogi going to dufc getting compo for him sacked him and replaced him with possibly the worst manager to ever take an spl team and continued to back him even after the mauling at Hamilton utter madness between them and foran they've completely screwed ICT nothing to do with the players spl wages at all if yogi hadn't been sacked or even replaced with a veteran manager we'd still be a top 6 side like u say breaking even at worst!

The longterm plan should be to give up on chasing promotion for both club and fans and spend the next year or two slowly reducing the number of 'journeymen' jobbers at the club and bring through more youth. If it all clicks and we make play-offs then great, but focus on Championship consolidation, more attractive football and a team that shows signs of excitement coming back. From that core of younger players it will hopefully reduce the wage bill and allow for the introduction of select quality additions rather than quantity to supplement and strengthen to aim towards getting premiership status back. If Dunfermline, Falkirk, Morton and even DUtd cant just steamroller this league and get out then we cant expect to either - some have been here years. Even the likes of PT have shown that its a hard league and not to be underestimated. Next season needs to be about realism and that needs to start from the board level right the way through.

That was the disappointing thing for me. We always looked more likely to score and having got the goal we should have continued to do what we had been doing relatively well. In his post match interview Barry Wilson acknowledged that, but what was worrying was that he said the players had often dropped too deep after scoring this season. If that is a known problem then why did it happen again yesterday? Where was the leadership on the park to keep the focus and drive? And why weren't the coaching staff on their feet bawling instructions to the players to push up? We absolutely threw away 3 points yesterday and handed them on a plate to one of our closest rivals. The tragedy is that whilst we didn't play with the intensity we saw against County, we still played pretty well on the whole and created plenty of chances. We were unlucky to hit the woodwork twice and could have won the game comfortably. In his interview, Naismith acknowledged they were lucky to win but also said that his side played as well as they have for several weeks. That must be an acknowledgement that we were pretty decent. It's a hard one to take but that might just mean that lessons will be learnt this time. This season in the league, we have conceded 7 goals in the last 10 minutes of games but have scored only 2. However, we are averaging 1.9 points per game when we score first whilst our opponents are averaging just 1.3 points per game when they score first. That is an encouraging if, on the face of it, a rather contradictory statistic. This seems to suggest that we are generally pretty good at fighting back when behind and have the capability to capitalise on taking an early lead, but that we have rather poor game management towards the end of games. The net effect of the late goals is that we have 6 less points than we would have had if the final score had been what it was on 80 minutes. Clearly our opponents have correspondingly more. This is clearly a key area for the management team to work on.

I think the time to change the coaches is now, we've stuck with this slow passing style attack since Yogi and the one guy that's still here is Kellacher. Time for a change, we're the ONLY team in the championship that once we get the ball and break actually STOP and reassess before slowly building up towards a laboured charge at goal. Both of QOS goals today came from an intercepted ball and a quick charge down the pitch, with some good passing and awareness but quickness was the key to both goals. I have never seen us do that in the last 4 years, we simply can't play that way... It always ends up stalling and passing sideways and out to the flanks before the attack fizzles out and its out for a goal kick. Throw all the new signings and exceptional strikers at this all you want, but it's the style of football we play and the way we choose to counter attack that is killing us and until this is addressed we will continue to be a mid table Cship side at best

Can I just say....... Tom Walsh was excellent again today. Turning into a very influential player. Not only in scoring the goal, but creating and setting up. Also good to see Carl Tremarco back in, his body was on the line a few times. As for the rest........ ?????? Where were you ??????

The amount of chances we create they should be well in to double figures our leading scorers 9 goals in all comps pretty bad bud!

The problem is you just can’t move on a host of players on who are under contract but you can part company with the manager far easier and promote the assistants just like Dunfermline.So I’m not sure he will survive regardless of results.
