    I thought about putting out a "statement" on behalf of CTO on Saturday but personally, I think that's counterproductive as the ST statement kind of said it all and personally as a member that's all I need. We have been around for 30 years on here, and I think providing a platform for the users on here to express themselves independently, as well as many of our personal social media posts say it all without any press release. In case anyone wants a statement on where we stand ... The CTO version is short and simple. We ask for three things to be addressed. Get Gardiner Gone Get Ferguson Gone Lets get talking about how to rebuild from whatever shambles is left behind and with who at the helm both on the field and off the field. We need good leadership in both areas. Bring back #TogetherNESS

    Please don’t take this the wrong way, but we would all come up with different forms of wording. The Trust deserves credit for getting a statement out in the immediate aftermath of Saturday’s disaster and for keeping its members updated. Credit also to the Wyness Shuffle guys for their post about the situation and also showing their support for the work of the Trust. All at a time when those running the club are conspicuous by their silence.

    Feck it - Get as many clubs as possible in amalgamation and rename Caledonian FC, and rename the North Stand to the Howden End. We could rename the toilet block as the Shed ?

    Club Statement We would wish to sincerely apologise to our loyal fan base for the delay in a more immediate response to the torturous events of last weekend. We wholly understand your anger and frustration and can only assure you all that we are working day and night, seeking the most appropriate way forward. We did have a contingency plan for relegation but we need to now look at this again and iron out any doubts or consider other potential options. We cannot afford to rush through any plan without calculated and ultimate consideration.We will make a clear and final decision by the end of this week and this will be conveyed in full to all of you.     Oh and relegation will make it even harder to get the accounts signed off this month as a going concern.

    I suspect only way we can trigger the required pay-offs and avoid it putting us into administration is if somebody is willing to inject a 6 figure sum into the club, ie dig deep again not to allow us to have a half decent team or to improve facilities, but to put more money in the pockets of people who have let us down. It’s hardly an appealing prospect, but if nobody steps forward the club dies.

    That also stretches to manager interviews with DF and laterally BD, who was never asked a pressing question. It was actually very boring, lazy journalism but why would they want to disturb the old pals act. The whole thing now surrounding the club is actually getting tedious, I'm not surprised in the slightest by the radio silence.
