U20's v Kilmarnock - Tuesday 4th - 3pm

U20's are at home to Killie tomorrow at 3pm.

Lads have had a great start to the season and the last home game v Hearts was a very entertaining match.

How much to get in?

Free of charge, enter by gate B between the main and south stands

Goals from Martin Laing and Jason Oswell means we are 2 up at half time

Great to see that our youth team is getting on a lot better than in years previous

Anyone know the team?

Would be good if the two new left sided players on our books got some game time to get their match fitness up to scratch

First half was quite entertaining and nice to see them trying to play football, albeit in terribly windy conditions. Morrison and Laing looked the pick of the ICT bunch for me, as well as the Kilmarnock numbers 2, 9 and 11, with the number 9 scoring a great goal midway through the second half.

All in all, an alright kind of game for this level and even a cameo appearance by Jocky Scott! (It looked like him anyway!)

I thought guessing the result would be more fun!

Finished 2-1 to ICT!

am takin a wild stab at 2-1 ict yoof

Looking through the fixtures the highland u 20 derby is on the 9th (during the holidays) would be great if the club advertised it well and got a decent crowd to go to it.

The team was -

Reguero

Some defenders I didn't recognise!

Polworth Laing Morrison Blackman

Christie Oswell

In the second half the left back and Blackman swapped positions. He looks like he has a good touch and is fairly quick, but is a bit greedy.

All being well I should have some highlights from the game up later this evening.

Never managed to get highlights up as promised.....however (and don't expect this too regularly as it takes an age to encode and upload) I've stuck up the full 90 minutes of the game now instead.

You do spoil us Don! :D

Well taken goal by Laing!

Andre blackmans quick ain't he! Got caught out of position but he just sprinted back and caught up very easily. Looks more of a winger than a left back to me.

IMO while I thought he was a bit greedy at times, Blackman looks like he's got potential on the wing. He's fairly quick and has a decent touch. He was far quieter in the second half when he moved to left back.

By the way, that was Jocky Scott I saw, wasn't it? If it wasn't, he must a twin brother!

Renegade, the 'Jocky' lookalike you spotted is no other than ex-caley man Alex Young.

Special interest, that would be his grandson Ryan Watson!!

Take it as read from another family relative ;-)
