As mentioned in the other thread, La Roda in Spain have just announced that Dani Lopez has left the club and signed for ICT via their Twitter account.  They're thanking him for his time with him and wishing him well in Europe.  Their fans are also doing the same on Twitter.  Looks like he's our latest new signing then.

I'm not surprised. Yogi was clearly a fan. Lopez did look very unfit but hopefully with some game time he will shape up nice.

 

Wonder if any of the other trialists will share a similar outcome.

He wasn't involved much today but he did look like he had ability against Forres Mechanics.  There's no way he's fully fit, but he seems to be fairly skilful and links well with the midfield.  With a few more weeks of training, I think he could well be a great addition to the team.  I had a look at an Aldershot forum recently to see what they said about Jordan Roberts and they had a thread about him coming on trial with us.  They all seemed to rate him highly and a few said he was a far better player than Roberts for them.

I'm on the fence haven't seen anything outstanding that would compensate for a low work rate from St Mitten friendly. Hope I'm wrong.

MFR reporting that Dani Lopez has signed a 1 year deal with the club. I would imagine that the club have the option to have a second year like majority of the other deals.
