Juanjos Back....................

This is no rumour hence the reason I've posted it on here. It came from my best mate who is in turn Juanjo's best mate from Inverness.

He arrives in Inverness tonight (Wednesday), is training with Ross County Thursday, Friday & Monday (to keep his fitness level) & returns to Inverness for a trial period of a week starting on Tuesday of next week. He was going to sign for Ross County earlier in the season but opted to stay in Spain but due to a breach of contract (from his former club) Juanjo has exercised his right to move so is a free agent.

Thoughts?

I liked Juanjo last time round, but wasn't that at a lower level?

:029: No.  He was brought in as a replacement for Bingham who buggered off to Gretna, Juanjo only played in the SPL for us.

Why is he not taking a plane, the bus seems a bit on a come down from his yellew BMW M3!

gold :004:

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!  :crazy07:

I echo that sentiment.

I digress isnt Richard Fairbrass not that gay guy out of right said fred - is he a friend of Juanjo!?

did anyone go check if he got off the bus??

Yep... got a mini-bus organised and we hung about, was a wee fat Spaniard off the bus right enough, says he's come for a job in the tapas bar in castle street.

did anyone go check if he got off the bus??

def here unless a certain lady taxi driver is telling porkies...

says she got a wee peck on the cheek from him.  bet it wasn't as much fun as me and the boys....  :001:

I don't get the bit about him going to County for a few days before the trial with us. Is he also having a trial with them, or is he so blatantly unfit that if he came directly to us he's be sent back on the bus before getting the chance to kick a ball?

Unreal...Very much worth a punt for the rest of the season!!  If he pulls it off...well done brew but you should still be sacked! :blah01:

Hoorah!!!

Maybe Brewster isn't such an idiot after all.....

Sorry no, he is.

He's definitely here, but with a few things to do, as well as some training.  We'll just have to wait and see how things develop.

I think he could still do a job for us.

He has stuff to sort out with his house. He's training with county for 3 days & because he's here anyway he didn't want to sit around doing nothing until Tuesday. I'm good mates with one of county's coaches so I arranged for him to train in Dingwall.

I'm not sure he ever re-captured his form after that injury...

That would give us two strikers in that catagory...  :024:

I hate to be a killjoy here but is Juanjo not 34/35 years old?

30?! Excellent.

As you were...  :crazy07:

Well I was speaking to my mate who has a mate who was speaking to Craig Brewster's grannies dog who said this is just pure guff.

Richard Fairbass has his one pretty spot on.  I didn't want to post the personal bits, but I was delighted to catch up with him. Good luck to Juanjo as his family would love to return and I think he could still do a job especially if he has rediscovered his pre injury form.  :021:

'tsall i can say!!!

Juanjo's 30? old enough to be the new manager?? (just kidding)

Not sure how I'd feel if i was Derek Adams, taking in a ICT trialist for three days to get his fitness up  :024:

And last time I looked Juanjo had a club? what happened there?
