In a time when Highland council is to cut 70-80 teaching posts through the region, i was annoyed to read that Highland Council Taxpayers have been footing the bill of sending 27 pupils to the Gaelic School via taxi. This has cost £120 000. The Council has been paying for pupils from as far afield as Black Isle to get to and fro the school. Now...why is it, when the rest of the country suffers cuts, the Gaelic self preservation society contiinues to get money thrown at it left right and centre? If parents want to send their children to schools, they should cover the bill of getting the kids there! The langauage is dying on its arse...thats a fact....talk about flogging a dead horse!3 points

Rather sad thread isnt it - and here am poor me with the worst reputation and disciplinary record around. Drunk and Incapable and Drunk and Disorderly(ish), standing up and singing incessantly (including swearing, taunting away supporters - especially when there is a hint of sectarianism), friendly albeit offensive banter withn away supporters are all acceptable terrace behaviours IMHO but - bullying fellow fans (usually younger fans); picking fights within your own group, doing it in the safety of a group behind you; slagging off players or the club are unacceptable ICT behaviours. And sorry but carrying it on here - there is a PM system - and calling for a club employee to be informed to sort it out - that is Kindergarten.3 points

I was sitting very near the top left corner of the stand at tynecastle and was very much enjoying my 1st away game this season. However the whole experience was marred by a few ICT fans who seemed only happy if they were causing trouble and abusing people. The main offender was constantly using the "c" word and hurling abuse towards the hearts fans that were sitting at the far right corner of the main stand (a bit of fun banter is good but this was verbal abuse) He then started to slag off most of the ICT by saying there were all "donuts" and that foran has no place in the side (i think we know who the donut is and it aint foran). Then, this lad and his mate started to have a go at the fans in front of me because they were disagreing with there "donut" remark about foran saying he is a star player for ICT. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but when you start swearing to people and basically treatening them that they are wrong is disgracefull. I would be happy never to see these people at an ICT game again, your support is not welcome!!!1 point

I wasn't there so cant really comment nor do I know any of the people involved but I will say. If it was a stag do they were probably well tanked up and I would also imagine that not all of them were ICT fans but went along to the game because the stag wanted them there. Just put it down to people being drunk and were trying to, get attention/impress their buddies in some strange way. Save your energy for the St Mirren game and keep your memories of the match, You know, Always believe in Munro.1 point

I think he owes it to the club to sign a new deal, Then if a club is after him then they would have to pay a fee for him, helping the club and if he keeps going the way he is there will be plenty of clubs in the championship willing to pay a fee. Walking away for free is of no benifit to the club which has helped him get to this level.1 point

Think of all of the good strikers who have graced the pitch at TCS. Rooney is up there, but he's not the first. And won't be the last.1 point

- and calling for a club employee to be informed to sort it out - that is Kindergarten Couldnt agree more mate but just shows what many in the support are like, people complaining about nonsense like this clearly never went football before 1994!!1 point

Too many people within the support always bitching about other supporters and what they are up to,ok the guy doesn't rate Foran he is entitled to his opinion some people like players in different ways he pays his money for his season ticket or ticket on the day then he is entitled to shout his support or frustrations all he wants. Some people in the ICT support would be better getting on with watching the game instead of their fellow supporters Outrageous behaviour calling someone a Donught where will it all end,if it ever gets to people calling players eclairs i'd call the polis!!!1 point

Superb post, totally agree with everything you said there. Althought I wouldn't have used the word clowns or idiots. F****** A***holes is what they are. They are an absolute embarrassment to themselves. Apologies for the language but it seemed to be perfectly ok for them to use it on saturday. I'm all for everyone having their own opinion, but when that opinion is slagging off our own players, when we're having one of the best seasons ever, then they should take that opinions elsewhere. Doesn't really surprise me with this group of fans we're referring to though, they shout the same sort of s*** at home games as well. Disgraceful.1 point

The 360 is far from ***** as our friend suggests. I'll rebuke his points; "Xbox 360: If you want to go online, you have to pay money to go online!" Yep you do. For ?40 a year. However, you get a much better service then the PSN. You also have a remit not to cheat, and many people are banned for cheating, something that is impossible to do on the current PSN setup. Also, Online gaming is far more stable on the 360 then the PSN because of this fact - and Sony have already talked about introducing a PSN Premium service that is going to have...wait for it...dedicated game lobbies for those who use this service. Essentially, Xbox Live. I would happily pay for a better service, and I happily do. "Xbox 360: If you want to buy something you have to purchase MICROSOFT POINTS which is just there to confuse you so you have no idea how much something is actually worth." MS Points are not confusing - for anyone to suggest otherwise then they must have trouble putting their socks on in the morning. It's a very easy, and non-confusing system. It's also quite simple to understand how much something is worth. "You WILL get a red ring of death and your xbox will break within a year." Let me rephrase. You MIGHT get a red ring of death and your xbox MIGHT break within a year. I can quote numerous personal and national stories where people have bought launch 360s and not had a single problem. Indeed, before I upgraded to the new Xbox I hadn't had any issues with it, and have owned it for over 3 years. Also, if you DO get the RROD then MS will replace it, free of charge. It's not as if MS are the only company to have issues with their consoles. I certainly remember a certain Disc Read Error plaguing all Playstation 2s. And what did Sony do? Advise people to buy new consoles. Then there is the YLOD on the current crop of PS3s which many people have encountered. Again, Sony will not replace the consoles. "You have to spend money on batterys for your computer." Oh dear. Spending money on batteries. What a shame. Or just buy the Play and Charge kit at a measly ?15. "You will have to buy a wireless adapter if you havent got the new xbox." Or just use a cable. Certainly far more stable then a wireless connection will ever be. "All add on's are over priced." Emm what? "It has the worlds hardest dashboard to navigate in." Really? It's fairly simple. I could go into the ergonomics of the controller, the support that you get, the ease of programming for the 360, and the fact that more people own them. Let's also not forget that most online reviews give multi-platform games better scores for the 360 version then the PS3 version and 9/10 the graphic difference is so unnoticeable then it doesn't matter. In the end though, you buy what you want to buy.1 point

Newcastle are perenial under-achieviers. I don't know when they last won anything worth winning. This decision is so bizarre it is almost as though the Board is worried they might actually win something with Hughton so have bought Pardew in to restore mediocrity to the club.1 point

As someone has already said, differences of opinion, shouting, swearing is all part and parcel of football, and I couldn't agree more. But thats not the point here, or certainly not the point I was making, far from it. The point I was making is how the hell can anyone be so negative towards our own team and players when we are in the form we are in? That is what really pissed me off on Saturday. When we are having the season of our lives like we currently are, I do not appreciate any so called ICT fan sitting for 90 mins and slagging off one of our own players. Especially our club captain. And it wasn't just a one off remark it went on throughout the whole game... And lets be honest, the word he chose to use to describe Ritchie Foran is not important in the slightest, donut, ****, *****, whatever, who cares the word ain't important - it was the fact he was being totally negative and not supporting the team that annoyed me, and clearly a lot of others around him. I'm sorry but say what you want, anyone who claims to be an ICT fan acting like that is a disgrace. There are differences of opinion, then there is someone just talking complete *****. If you can't support ICT at a time like this, then you should take your negative comments somewhere else as far as I'm concerned. Not gonna say anything else on the matter.0 points

First off "the ginger destroyer" is my mate, those who know him will see him in the Innes before every home game. I am the "idiot" who told your mate to "just sit the **** down" because, without sounding childish, if he kept his mouth shut in the first place the flippant remark would have just been that. Instead he decided to mutter some rant which achieved the argument he was looking for. He then gets "his friends" to post their discontent on a forum about a nothing incident that he started. Yeh "the ginger destroyer" went over the top to make his point about having his own opinion but he didn't take kindly to someone picking out a comment about a bad pass. ffs "donut" is hardly the strongest language you will hear at in a football stand. "They weren't supporting the team on Saturday, just shouting ridiculous comments aimed at our own players" I'll let the idiot remark slip but talking absolute p!sh just to try and make you look like a good guy shows exactly what you are all about. The rest of us were telling our boy to pipe down just as I told your mate... there was no need for it to have happened in the first place. I'd love to know why you weren't this chatty at the game and instead decided to post on the internet 2 days letter when everyone else has forgotten you and your mate existed.-1 points

I'll say again, 1 guy reacted badly after someone he didn't know decided to make something out of a nothing remark. Some of what was said after was well over the top and he was told that by the rest of us. The only reason I got involved was to prevent the situation getting any worse. There were 10 of us at the game on Saturday, all ICT supporters and have been since the telford street days. There was nothing but encouragement (and nail biting) from everyone else. 10 of us on a stag day... it got messy (ask san miguel & the knowledge). Abuse at Hearts fans?? they had a red hand of ulster flag on show and deserved all the "abuse" they received. As for our right to be at the game, or, "these are the supporters we don't need" comments from you and your boy. I'm glad you are taking into context the time's we have followed the team around the country, the season tickets held in our group, when we turned out when it wasn't fashionable to follow ICT in the lower divisions. I'm all for us encouraging kids going to the game but I fail to see why you think you have any right to decide we aren't the type of the fans the club needs. Especially since it seems you don't have all the facts of the situation and decided to draw your own conclusion from afar. and you are? 3rd game of the season and proud of it. I go to the games I can make it to, unfortunately not as many as I'd like. Probably why you haven't seen me posting on here too often recently, does that make me less of a supporter?-1 points

Your first post and this, for the most of it, are inaccurate. He is mouthy, always has been, but didn't kick off until he was getting pulled up for a throw away remark about a miss placed pass. No a welsh flag is fine. To be honest I wasn't bothered with the flag but I can understand why others would be. Again, you are trying to use a one off incident regarding 2 people to reflect another 9 fans who were sitting enjoying the match and encouraging the team.-1 points

I've always thought top four this season. We're simply a better side, better organised, with a better spirit and better players than the vast majority of the SPL. Let's hope the Jambos wee run fizzles out soon so we can glide past them.-1 points

Any man for themself in this world, Adam isnt due ICT nothing. I think he will. Considering we have offered him on par wages with what Niculae was getting, this should surely show him what he means to us. Balls in his court.-1 points
