It's perhaps worth noting at this stage that if the mother has been charged, then there are severe legal constraints as to what can and cannot be said in the public domain. I'm not an expert on law and journalism, but Smee does appear to have made a comment which presumes guilt and which could, as a result, be illegal. Not sure why someone gave you a red dot for this comment but I gave you a green one to balance it up ..... because you are correct. Everyone is entitled to their opinion about this case and given that it involved a young child, emotions are likely to run extremely high. Many may claim to have "inside info" and perhaps they do but the simple fact of the matter is that charges have been laid and a criminal case is pending therefore legally our hands are somewhat tied in what we can say, and what kind of statements we can allow to be posted. Please consider what you are posting before you post it and save us the trouble of deleting controversial posts. There will be plenty of time for discussing this well after the criminal case has been completed ! This stance is done not to stifle debate, its a hot topic in Inverness at the moment obviously, and we are more than open to letting the thread continue. However, my priority has to be the site so this reminder, and any actions we take on individual posts is done to protect the forum and its users from any potential hassle from the judiciary. I know its unlikely that we would get any nasty letters but this has been site policy since well before our SportNetwork days on any topic where criminal proceedings are in the works. I have hidden/deleted/edited any posts I think may breach our policy and any responses to them that may now be out of context. No warnings or bans are being handed out, and the fact that a post is being hidden or deleted does not necessarily mean we disagree with the opinion expressed in it ... we are just covering our arses !!!2 points

We could also have LCD advertising boards at the side of the pitch for players Facebook updates. Eric The Eel : "LOL, can't be arsed today" Richie Bhoy : "Just put the boot in someone's bollox ROFL" Russeldinhio : "Benched again, Eeeek!"2 points

.............Esson.......... Tokely.....Hogg.....Munro.....Duff Hayes....Duncan....Ross.....Doran ...........Foran.......... ...........Rooney......... Subs : Tuffey, Innes, Eric, Cox, Sutherland. Hoping Hayes is fit.... If not Cox in centre mid, with Nick Ross right mid.1 point

I think everyone from hibs up potentially fancies they can finish top 6. We need to take one game at a time especially as we are playing teams round about us this week.1 point

Provided Hayes is fit id go with Esson Tokely, Hogg, Munro, Duff Hayes, Cox, Duncan, Doran Foran, Rooney. Subs: Tuffey, Innes, Gillet, Ross, Odhiambo, Sutherland, MacDonald.1 point

It's for the supporters bus. Do you know how much it is to hire a 52 seater on a Saturday? Something in the region of ?450. The SC only charge something like a tenner a head so fundraising events like this subsidise the cost of the hiring of a bus. I don't really think supporters need to part with even more cash than they already do supporting the club what with ticket prices and food/drink etc. The club can perferctly afford to subsidise the team bus without the help of the supporters. If only the cost of the bus was in the region of ?450! I wish. Cost is well over ?500 and likely to rise next season due to the ever increasing cost of fuel. Many times, especially when other buses are run in direct competition to the Supporters Club bus, (ie to the "more attractive" games), the numbers are insufficient to cover the cost, hence the need to fundraise to keep the cost per head to a minimum.1 point

As good a game as this will be , it's hard to find the wisdom in a match v brazil with Scotland in desperate need of ranking points for the world cup draw!1 point

I agree with dougal. If the low attendance this was a one off I would ignore this thread but I'm begining to see a patterns in the cup games, not just at TCS. Where are the usual 3000 home fans that turn out for the league games The mind boggles1 point

Calm down Tug............................nothing in the above post that's having a go at you or the likes of you is there? Dougal, for all his wind ups, makes a valid point that is true for the vast majority of clubs. Don't disagree with him, don't know what can be done about it but he doesn't deserved to be panned! That's the thing about this and other forums. Are they private clubs that welcome only the opinions shared by the chosen few or are they public forums that allow freedom of speech/debate? Despite the best efforts of some (Alex !) CTO usually falls in the latter category. Lets keep it that way!1 point

Though long and hard about replying to this statement but thought better of it This thread should be closed as its nothing but speculation One thing i will say though is that all clubs have a minority of imbeciles who spoil it for everyone else, i'm not saying for one minute that this incident happened but Section G have a history of being involved in unsavoury incidents dougal-1 points

well caught Sir you have hooked one i am sick fed up of time and time again people trying to make out that because someone does not go to a game they are LESS of a fan than others i would love to attened every game, i would love to have every strip i would love to do lots of things but there are a list of reasons why i can't/don't :- i am currently down in wolverhampton i have a wife and two children, they sometimes have to come first i am fortunate enough to have a season ticket so i go the games when i can life doesnt always pan out the way you plan it is becoming more and more common on here to find threads that are slating fans for one reason or another and its getting old and tired. i am fortunate enough to be able to afford a season ticket and i am glad i do as i know it means that when i can get to the game my seat will be therre but im sorry i really didnt want to drive for the best part of 12 hours to come home see my wife and kids(who i havens seen for the best part of a month) for all of about 3 hours just so i can go to see us beat morton. im sorry if in your eyes that makes me a lesser fan but let me ask you this Dougal when was the last time you went above and beyond for the club, when did you really get of your bum and do something for the club instead of just going online and bleating about how fans should be ashamed and unable to sleep at night?-1 points

It's really important that we beat Hivs on Saturday with the chasing pack gaining by the game . Aberdeen are only 4 points behind now .-1 points

I dont see St J as a threat but I do DU and Aberdire so its important that we take the points from both of them. We dont play Aberdeen again. I dont want to go into stats and facts too much as it really is a case of one game at a time and its important to enjoy each game too. Just to keep things simple. Hibs and St Mirren have got way too much to do and cant really afford to lose a single game to be in with a shout. Aberdeen have had a bit of a revival and have been fortunate to win a few games of late but a couple of defeats and the odds are against them too and the negative goal difference will work against them, also bear in mind that if they are picking up 3 points then they are taking them off of the teams around us aswell. Kilmarnock, have gone off the boil a bit after losing some players I think we can finish higher than them. Motherwell, another team which we can finish above. United, sums up the title of the post really, the fear of United winning all of their games had even Hearts looking over their shoulder a few weeks ago, their games in hand are difficult ties and the backlog will do them in. St Johnstone I think will keep picking up points here and there. Which leaves us, theres still a few points to pick up yet but the same goes for every other team looking for 3 available places and instead of being relegated on goal difference, I think it will be just, going into the top six on goal difference instead.-1 points
