  1. These Red Dots are a waste of space...

  2. I see Rangers are out of the Champions league after going down to Malmo tonight. However they remain in Europe with the reward for losing being awarded a place in the Europa League. This is wrong. Having failed miserably yet again, that should be that for the season. Places in other competitions should be awarded to other clubs who are next in line in their national competitions. In that way there will be more clubs involved in Europe and more clubs will be able to hold onto good players because of the attraction of playing in a European competition. This would help to raise standards generally and provide for better competition for the big clubs. Of course, this is money talking again with the demands from the TV companies that the bigger clubs get a 2nd chance so their appearance will make for larger TV audiences. Ibrox was only half full for the first leg so they got what they deserved.

  5. Just short of 10 years since we found ourselves with a midweek game at Somerset in the quarters of the same tournament. We had a very healthy crowd down that night between the stand and the terraces. I really think that Rosscoe should be allowed to play in centre midfield for this game.

  6. East Fife, Livvy or Stenny away would suit me, I could probably make those games. If we get Stenny then I will be arranging an 'off' with the Akabusi Loyal, it'll make Green Street look like Seaseme Street.

  9. Was Foran offside? Was Tade fouled in the box before he fell? Was Hayes fouled before he lost the ball leading to the goal? All these questions are academic as none of the decisions went in our favour. Am I the only one who thought that it was a very soft goal and that Esson should have saved it? I know he is a great keeper and has saved us countless times. He is therefore entitled to the odd mistake. In my eyes this was one of them, unfortunately costing us two points.

  10. I think this was the wrong move for Rooney. I think the fact that BC are looking to bring in a loan signing signals that they dont think Rooney is up to the task. I think he may well disappear into footballing obscurity now....time will tell. Personally....i didnt rate rooney as highly as everyone else. Take the penalties out of the equation, and how many goals did he score in open play last season?

  11. So, after all these years of trackside advertising in this cup for "Coca Cola" and "CIS", what's it going to be this year? "THIS TIE COMES COURTESY OF 'D' WING AT BARLINNIE"?

  12. I disagree. BTW - how did that Greig get on? I was impressed when I saw him against Clach.
