Hopefully you're right and we can look forward to seeing a wider selection of food . That would depend on the current contract stipulations with the current pie suppliers. If you were to do a servery speed trial, subway and coffee, v pie and a coffee. you would think pie and coffee would win hands down. However I have been informed that Man City have a Subway outlet and it works fine and look how many fans they have, they just have a more basic set menu, everything is preped up fresh, wrapped up and ready to serve. Dougal I think you will find a few improvements this coming season, its 20 years on, the club are forever looking after the youngsters to maintain and grow the fan base, its also good to see some money coming back to look after the fans who invest in the club over the years. Ideally, I would like to see the fans happy, stimulated, perked up, vibrant, full of energy and ready for action before KO. Lets make every home match a good day out. Break the routine, please break the mould. Enter the bar, for a few beers nice and cold. Enter the stadium and let the story unfold.3 points

Exactly. There's nothing wrong with being excited for new kits, I'm looking forward to seeing. Some posters just take it a tad far by lashing out at the club/members/supplier because they're not getting to see it right now. Children, Toys, Prams and all that. Pathetic.2 points

They are not availabe to buy, only pre order. Easy really when they never change design and have the same sponsor. What really is the problem if the kit isnt out yet? How many of you that are moaning are actually going to buy one anyway?2 points

Is that for real. Is it our official outfit for the games. Looks like an advert for Brodie countryfare.1 point

To be honest, I feel that we don't need a right back and certainly don't need a centre half. I know we only have one proven right back in Raven but Shinnie was perfectly capable of filling in at right back in Raven's absence. I know you could argue that Shinnie being at right back did run it's course after a while but also not forgetting Josh Meekings started at ICT as a right back so you could place him there too. I could understand if Yogi is looking for established right back to challenge Raven but I feel we are well covered unless Shinnie was leaving ICT. Same case for a centre half. Gary Warren and Josh Meekings first team starters - no question about it. We have a perfectly capable replacement in Danny Devine. Graeme Shinnie's versatile enough to fill in at centre half and so is Carl Tremarco. We also have Jason Brown in the U20s that can fill in at centre half too. So again, yogi could be looking for a bit more competition but I wouldn't be sad if we didn't get one. To me a second striker should and probably is our main priority. We can get so much benefits out of having a second striker if we played a 4-4-2 and kept the opposition on their toes because they would be expecting us to play the usual 4-2-3-1. I do feel that we need this second striker incase Mckay gets injured or suspended however you could counter that by how many goals have come from midfield/defence when Mckay was off the boil. We have Calum Ferguson at our disposal already but I think he should be kept for the future and let him keep developing in the U20 and possibly another loan spell at either the Championship or League 1. As Yogi pointed out in an interview in May you're stuck between a rock and a hard place when you get a second striker because they will be expecting to play week in week out but as I said if we altered the tactics then it shouldn't be a problem.1 point

Dougal, If you are a squirrell then I'm off fer a Jimmy Rid.le. But you might look a lot cuter than we think, judged by your querulous quips, your quick reactions, rakish manners and rapacious wit. And squirrels are also curious, cuddly and click-aholics and you just love to be on this site. ...go on! Admit it. 'And if you don't like schoolboy humour then you are really getting old. It's those who don't lose their child-like sense of humour that don't get so stressed out and retain a youthful attitude to the upsets and vicissitudes of life. Isn't that right IHE? I learnt very early on in my youth that those who were the most ridiculously zany (e.g Monty Python) were usually the brightest guys around. And, if you ever want to become a member of the Pimpernell clan, then you will have to change and get levity in your life--it's the best defence against the cruel jibes that come your way....first of all it confuses the enemy, then they think you are either nuts or certifiable and don't know what to say next, then you rock 'em and sock' em when they least expect it, Game , set and match.First lesson of survival, like. I suspect we may see the tactic a little more often in the future and I fail to see why people think this is somehow insulting to the keeper who has played the match. Saving penalties is a very specific keeper task and whilst one keeper may be a good spot kick stopper, another keeper in the squad may well be a more rounded keeper better at narrowing angles, collecting crosses, coming off the line to make blocks etc. It's a bit like taking off a defender and putting a striker on when you're chasing a game - it doesn't mean the defender has played badly, it is just that you need a different skill set on the park at that time of the game. In the context of the world cup game I think the strategy of bringing Krul on worked brilliantly. He is a very big man and his sheer presence immediately puts a bit of pressure on the kick takers who feel there is that little bit less margin for error. Added to that is the fact that it gives a message to the opposition that the substitute keeper is good at saving penalties and again this must put pressure on them. Krul also used psychology effectively by his general swagger and body language which oozed confidence. But regardless of any pschology here, Krul actually did the business making 2 stops, the second of which was a particularly good save. It is a sensible tactic and the keeper who has played the rest of a match should not have a problem with that provided it is a strategy agreed in advance.1 point
