  1. that is definitely something we are going to be looking into for next season. The more information we can get out there the better. On another positive note, we have had a few more names in for the bus yesterday so the bus will definitely run to Hamilton. However, we still have a few places so get your names in. Bus leaving both the caley club then the stadium, lets try and fill it for the last away game of the season.
  2. Agree with this. Not just this league, but fitba in general. This has already become an overused phrase but...Just look at Leicester....or Man City, with all their money etc they may have a season where they win nothing, and possibly not even 'win' a champions league place. i am a supporter of ICTFC therefore I will be renewing my season ticket, and I will be hoping for but not expecting a good season. And if we get relegated then I will again renew my season ticket and once again hope for the best. This is what being a fan/supporter is all about. If we start talking like only attending if we are winning we are in danger of being like Celtic and The Rangers and Man Utd fans.....#facepalm

Even if Raven wasn't playing, our defence would still be stronger with the Warren-Meekings partnership restored and Horner or even Polworth at right back. That pairing last season was the best in the country. It simply has to be restored. I can't help but think though that Hughes is simply doing this to spite the supporters. That's not good management, in fact it's the complete opposite.
  4. Simon, (Bronson) has asked me to post this on the forum as he tries to raise funds for a great cause and one very close to his own heart. Please have a look and see if you are able to help him reach his goal. Thanks tm4tj See attached document SBCC.docx Simon Macdonald's fundraising page My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SimonMacdonald Thank you for visiting my virgin money giving page. I have decided to enter a charity boxing event with 'Ultimate White Collar Boxing' which takes place in Aberdeen on 11th June 2016. As many of you already know my son Lewis (in the picture) was involved in a horrific scalding accident in our old house which nearly killed him and changed all of our lives forever. This led to 20 odd operations under general anaesthetic, numerous skin grafts, MRSA and the amputation of a finger. He has recovered well and is an inspiration to everyone who knows him. Since the accident we have received amazing support from The Scottish Burned Childrens Club. They have done so much for us, inviting us as a family to a weekend every year where Lewis is able to meet and mix with other burn survivors. As a family we are able to offer and receive support from others who either are or have gone through what we have. Money is tight and all fundraising is ploughed back into the charity. I cannot put into words how much their support has meant to us. You can sponsor me by visiting the web page above or by filling in the attached form. I have chosen £600 as my target but would love to smash through that. I have chosen to take part in a boxing match as I have always had an interest in fighting but have never been brave enough to compete. I would also like to show that I have just a fraction of the fight in me that Lewis has, and continues to show. I am the un-fittest and heaviest that I have ever been, so this will be a challenge!! Thanks in advance. Simon
  5. I might be wrong but did the bus information not used to be in the programme years ago? Certainly having it in there can only benefit the bus really.
  6. We put bus details on here and also in the CJT facebook page which is an open forum which has over 1,000 people on it. There is a dedicated phone which is advertised all season and bus seats can be booked on line via everbright. But going forward maybe the club next season will allow us more advertising space on their website and maybe even on match day with a tanoy announcement. CJT will also be launching a new website in the close season which should have all the information on it. CJT are also hoping for much more communication with regards the busses next season so any suggestions are welcome. .

That's it sorted I gave him a Green one, must have been the Steward!
  9. The vast majority of sites ue a single source...Opta...these days (or get figures from others who use them), so when there's an error it goes out to everyone. Last week they had Danny WIlliams in the squad instead of Ryan Williams.
  10. My take on the game was that we pretty much dominated it but yet again, poor defending cost us the game. For the first, Murray was not closed down, second and third goals were just poor defending. The " experiment" of playing Meekings at right back is not working. He gets caught out when attacking and is slow to get back (and invariably goes towards central defence when he does). Needs to go back to centre back asap. Devine has bombscare moments in most games and it can only be down to a lack of concentration. His distribution is poor as well and I think this is impacting on Warren's performance as his have not been great either. Too many players off the pace until 0-3 down but could easily have got a draw which we would have deserved. Fans posting on here saying not renewing season tickets, not going to attend next season due to this season puzzles me. With football, you cannot predict how seasons/games will go, not even Celtic/Man Utd can do that. Let's look forward to the new season and get behind the team and ditch some of this, largely undeserved negativity from some posters who think we have the divine right to win every game, just look at the Dundee result yesterday to see how difficult it can be to win games in this league.
  11. Dinnae worry too much Sneckboy the figures will rise again next season when the Rangers fans start coming out of the woodwork
  12. Cheers, CaleyD - that does seem more realistic. I wondered at first, if it had been our previous attendance v Dundee United published in error. Obviously that wasn't the case. Instead, it does seem it was simply a first-digit 'typo' with 3,587 rather than 2,587 being published. However, all the 'recognised' football database outlets are 'using' the higher figure and that's what'll eventually be included in our official attendance stats. Yay! For the record, our average attendances since returning to the SPL/Premiership - (2 figures for clarity) and actual: 2010/11: 4,500 (4526) 2011/12: 4,000 (4023) 2012/13: 4,000 (4038) 2013/14: 3,600 (3558) 2014/15: 3,700 (3733) 2015/16: (currently 3,800) (3752) If my arithmetic is correct, we need 3,723 at the home game v Dundee to 'finish on' the rounded 3,800 figure for this season. And, beating last season, thus recording a second-consecutive 'rise' in attendances, requires an attendance of 3,419. An attendance of 3,380 or fewer would see us drop below last season's average - which would be a dreadful return following our once-in-a-lifetime season.
  13. Two more for Sam Winnall today (8 May), in a 4-1 win for Barnsley at Wigan. (As an aside, I notice Marley Watkins has not played for Barnsley for weeks now, not even on the bench. Don't know if he has a long term injury, or just out of favour!)
  14. Great news. Well done CJT . I know it hasn't been easy. Important to show our support for the lads right to the end of the season

What's the point? He's here now and Yogi won't play him...why waste a wage on a bench warmer? maybe head round to Danny's house and break one o his legs or something? That appears to be the only way the Rave will get a look in! Disgustingly stubborn behaviour from Hughes on the Rave. Quite happy to play Vincent and Williams though. As someone in the crowd said on Friday..." We are not happy"

I wonder how much it would cost, over and above the boards ability to contribute, to keep David Raven for another season? Whip round?
  17. It was a mirror image of quite a few home games this season, too little too late. By the time the fight back kicked in the game was gone. Totally agree about Josh getting back to centre back, but unfortunately don't hold out much hope on the Dave the Rave front. Interesting to see ins & outs but nae getting overly excited yet!!! Let's do it all again next season but with a big improvement.
  18. Official attendance was 2587.
  19. This is from watching on BT Sport. We probably should have got a draw, particularly given the chance Roberts had that came off his shoulder. And had we equalised, I think we would have gone on to win it. But we didn't deserve anything from the game, pure and simple. While Utds first goal was a good strike, the ball should never have been allowed to travel that far, and Murray should have been closed down. The second goal was poor all round. To be honest, given it was stoppage time, Polworth should have just fouled Murray. Then Fon Williams should have dealt with the shot better. For the third goal, words fail me - I guess we were chasing the game and were far too open. And then the come back - the one encouraging thing about last night was that we didn't hide at 3-0 down. Unfortunately we didn't have the quality to take advantage in front of goal. For those questioning what Storey was doing out wide - that's what he has done all season. If he had someone to aim at in the middle, I think we could do some damage. I could see the red card coming as soon as Roberts got the ball - Morris had about 5 attempts at Roberts before he got him. So, a microcosm of our season in one game. Didn't defend well enough, didn't convert enough chances. Lots of pretty football, no cutting edge. But at least we pressed hard again, more of that please. i thought the ref had a decent game (no, really). We could, maybe even should, have had a penalty, but I can see how it wasn't given. If there was any doubt - which there wasn't - that we need to get a proper striker in the summer, last night removed it once and for all.
  20. listened to his interview on radio driving home from another night at the Tulloch stadium. didn't know whether to LAUGH or cry. we were the better team, we had more possession, we BOSSED the football.......................................... ffs we were 0-3 down at home to the team just relegated. the man is in denial. his tactics don't work, we are so slow in possession and fail to get forward quick enough the other team saunters back into their 2 banks of 4 while we stroke 8-10 passes along our own 18 yd box he needs to go to another team where the previous manager has left a team of players capable of more. same as butcher left him but hughes as failed miserably to replace the ones that left before anyone comes back with finances etc it didn't stop butcher finding rooney, hayes,Watkins, shinnie ,draper, warren etc sooner he departs the better and if we get a few quid compo all the better. heard a few with the same thought as myself last night...... holding on from buying season tickets until they see who is signed in the summer and maybe not renew if hughes is still there. on the question will we lose him to the arabs, can steven Thomson be so stupid................... best goal of the night du 3rd goal. got the ball around their own 18 yd box and a couple of passes later mackay crosses for offere tap in. aaahhhhh when we used to play like that it was a joy to watch

As far back as I am aware, the club have never skimped in regards to looking after players health/fitness, wellbeing and recovery. Not including doctors, there's currently 3 people who monitor players and assist with setting specific programmes for each of them. I've never heard a bad word from any of the players in this regard...in fact, just the opposite. Interesting topic for discussion though and I will get around to having a proper chat (on tape) with these folk so we can all get a better insight into how this area of the club operates.
  22. I'll drive him there myself
  23. Pretty humiliating that. I know the management team are the most qualified to make these calls, but I just feel it is so blatantly obvious that we need to get the spine of Warren and Meekings back together. I'm not as critical of Devine as some people, I feel he has a part to play in the squad, but as pretty much every fan seems to think, a back 4 of Raven-Meekings-Warren-Tremarco would provide more balance and a solid base. The substitution of Roberts was also bizarre, he was still looking pretty energetic. No injury crisis to hide behind tonight. Cannot wait for this season to end.

Well done to the young kids with the banner "There's only one David Raven". He came over to them at half time and they took some selfies. Gentleman. Get him signed up NOW - we need him
  25. I will support you on that one Roughi.

As I said somewhere else, that very same steward was swearing in front of my daughter as we were making our way through the turnstile, I did manage to make him feel very small, but clearly he's just a ****! Handled it all wrong, as I've seen him do many times before!

did any one see the steward who put up his finger to the young caley fans on Friday night think they got photos of it the supervisor was great with them but the steward was not
  28. Er...please remember the old saying..."Be careful , you might get what you wish for ."

Aye, wasn't a good day for the stewards! The same one that was having bother with the young team was swearing in front of my wee girl and I had to tell him off! That was before I was even through the turnstile!
  30. We deserve to go down just because of this and it's 100% happening next season
  31. Had a totally random thought today, whilst surrounded by a lot of polish people... with attendance suffering and Inverness having a large Eastern European inhabitance, it may be prudent to sign one or two polish players? I remember when Boruc was playing for Celtic, a lot of Poles came to the TCS just to see him play. Obviously we couldn't afford a player of his stature but if their was a player out there who matched our needs and budget who was also a draw for 'new' fans then why not?

Just further evidence of his narcissism! I would jump on the Yogi-out bandwagon, but we can't afford that either! Maybe we could set up a crowdfunding page to bolster the funds (enough to keep the Rave and Storey and pack Yogi's bags) the board can deal with the rest!
