  1. Can the actual football hurry up and start so we can moan about that instead?! This is bloody painful! first it was abbrevaitiongate, now its queuegate! once again, mountains being badly constructed out of mole-hills. casual fans or tourists not showing up now is just a joke! nobody has said that you cant pay on the day, you just cant pay at the turnstile! erm...whats the problem here?
  2. I'm sorry.........I don't want to be negative as we face , yet another, new dawn........but I have to agree..............I smell trouble. We do not have a good record when it comes to organisation around the stadium; whether it is the stewarding, the car-parking or the club shop. I fear the worst. We are supposed to be providing an attractive product for the customer...............a customer who has many alternatives these days. It MUST be hassle free. Whlist I am aware that the club is not run for my benefit...this could be another nail in the coffin for home visits from me. The A9 is scheduled to be pretty much a no go area for the foreseeable; After a 3 to 4 hour drive I like a pint with my mates in the Innes.........I don't wish to head straight for the end of a very long queue. If this is a cost saving exercise I fear it may back -fire. It is looking increasingly likely that, on the morning of home games, I will be getting the golf clubs or the fishing rod out. G. Loomy
  3. Here are the draw results for 2015/16 season to see who receives Liam Polworth's signed shirt and the other gift from this season just past. WINNER - SIGNED SHIRT : OddQuine WINNER - FRAMED WORDART : The Sponge The names in the hat for each of the seasons are based on the members who joined the sponsorship group each year (see topics linked below). The draw itself is conducted using a random generator website (www.randompicker.com). We have used this same site to conduct all our draws over the years, and have also successfully conducted several test draws on the current data that completed without any issues. The draw is completely and utterly random and no-one on CTO or within ICT has any influence or control over the names that come up. This is important to note as there are people connected with the club and with CTO who are eligible and who will not be excluded from the draw. If anyone has any concerns or questions about this process please feel free to PM me or mention it in the thread below. 2015-16: List of participants 2015-16 Draw Result on the randpompicker website
  4. Killie schizophrenic these days? I'll be interested to see how they come both 9th and 11th! In fairness, they are the hardest team to call!
  5. Esson Raven Meekings Warren Tremarco Tansey Draper Mulraney Polworth King Boden Subs: MacKay, Fisher, Brown, Sutherland, Vigurs and McNaughton
  6. Richie is quickly learning the managerial barney. what he is really saying is no one will entertain us on the packages we are offering. Let's wait for the early season loan drafts or pick up somebody who is cheesed off where they are as they are not getting enough match time. And that is another ICT tradition and has borne fruit before. Panic buying has been a BIG mistake in previous seasons
  7. So i ca'nt make it due to unforeseen circumstances at the last minute how am i supposed to get my ticket back before the match takes place ?
  8. This is really no different from the arrangements that operate at most entertainment venues or visitor attraction of any size. If you have bought a ticket before you simply go to the entrance. If you haven't, you go to the ticket office and then go to the entrance when you have your ticket. The general principle is correct but the issue is whether infrastructure designed for a different system will be adaptable enough to cope with what, in principle should be a better system. If it doesn't then the club will need to consider investment to change it. In this day and age, the traditional football turnstile operated by someone in a booth does seem very dated. Electronic systems may require a level of investment but they allow for far quicker flow of people and save on staffing costs. So let's give the new arrangement the chance to bed in. If it doesn't work it will give us the opportunity to look at more innovative ways of getting crowds into the ground than the current archaic system.
  9. I'd have thought Thurso Caley Mahonio would've been a better name.
  10. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Caley-Jags-wont-panic-buy-in-summer-sales-21072016.htm Plus as mentioned in the article above, Richie won't be pressurised into going out and taking anyone that's simply available just to make up the numbers. I'm dying to hear signing news every day, but at same time I'd much rather we got it right first time and spent our limited funds on the right players than go out early blindly throwing the cash about and ending up with misfits
  11. definitely would not be SO4P
  12. Strange how you can stick an extra "vo" into that word and interchange the next two letters to get a meaning that can unfortunately all to often be alleged of stewards!
  13. It may be a relatively trivial thing but for a club who struggle to attract fans beyond our loyal core I don't think this is a particularly helpful move much as I appreciate the attraction from the club's point of view.
  14. Thought Sutherland looked really good tonight, certainly making his case for starting 11.Fisher to me, even though he scored he just never looks sharp or quick enough and lost the ball under his own feet a lot tonight. Thought Mulraney looked a real threat at times, but somehow reminded me a little in Mutombo when he first signed, ball hogging and over complicating his runs and losing out. Thought Mccrae looked good down the left wing, picked up on a lot of long balls and ran well with them. To be fair Forres deserved to get more than they did from the game
  15. The club announce this less than 48 hours before a game, with many fans unknowingly going to the turnstile as normal on Saturday. I'd be very surprised if this doesn't cause chaos and could well just turn into more hassle. Not exactly productive for encouraging fans to attend.
  16. Ideally I'd have liked to have got the info out sooner, but that's not happened. Everyone on here who does have the info can do their bit to help out a fellow fan by giving a bit of direction to those who might look like they need it before the game. A chance to demonstrate a bit of the good old Highland Hospitality. #FanPower
