Absolutely. It's just like when I have an issue with my Internet connection, I put a post up in an unofficial forum and expect BT to get in touch, when they don't I get all upset and repeat my complaint ad nauseum. I certainly wouldn't contact BT directly to try and resolve it, that would be ridiculous.
  2. Can she join you every week please Robert? ...and we're only 2 points off top six!
  3. Yes. As someone remarked on another tread even a win could, theoretically, catapult us up to top four provided the other teams did poorly. Strange old game isn't it? Like a good horse race where the top horse is a poor starter but warms up and shows why the Jockey doesn't use a whip. Class in action. Went to Hastings Park racetrack in Vancouver just once in my past life, put down $100 in bets all told and won a $100,. Totally satisfying day out watching great, sleek looking horses going by at speed in the sun. But the big heart usually wins it--courageous rides don't need to be whipped, only urged on. It's a professional game and the participants know what is expected of them. Soooo ....Richie will do well if he inspires them and encourages them .
  4. Great feeling to celebrate our first win and points of the season. This was such an important win and hopefully will now set the tone for the rest of the season. The team looked up for it today and won most of the physical battles. Draper and Warren were the top players. Doumbouya will torment defences and I think will be entertaining to watch. If we can get another defender in and midfielder/striker I will feel a whole lot more comfortable about the season ahead. Well done today guys and onwards and upwards.
  5. Draper is our heartbeat. The test of a quality player is the one who comes to the fore when the team isn't playing well - Big Drapes has been the standout in all our defeats this season...and again today. It's brilliant to see that he's added goals to his combative midfield style. Tansey has started this season slowly - like last. We really need him to start firing quicker. Is there still an offer from The Sheep distracting him? The annoying thing now is the International break - Abdn off the back of a hidibg from Celtic + our victory today would have been a good build up to the game, had it been next Saturday.
  6. Great performance and effort from all today and the team will now have the belief to win games, simples. Ross Draper take a bow you were fantastic today!
  7. I got more enjoyment and entertainment in 90 minutes today than all of last season. Excellent performance, and boy could you see how much it meant to the manager and the players at the end. Great all round performance.
  8. An excellant team performance from all today and a well deserved win! The game was exciting to watch from start right to the last minute with every player putting in a great performance. More of the same please and we will have an enjoyable season
  9. It was just Pat Nevin being his snidy nasty self!
  10. worth a green one that Scarlet.
  11. A good win over Tommy Wright. No doubt he had done his homework on us but his revision papers were a week out of date. First half we did enough to win 10 games with a real gutsy performance. all players won their battles even OFW was getting stuck in. Their goalie kept them in the match. First 45 mins you just couldn't pick the motm it was so close nor could you leave a player out of contention. We permitted them to have a little more ball time in the second half with wasted long balls to no one and let them back into the game for an undeserved point. The gaffer had other ideas so brought on 2 strikers and the road runner. meep meep and finished the match off with a fine victory and a good game of football. Wear the Pride of the Highlands with pride, you guys earned your badge today.
  12. There's nothing better than an injury time winner, especially after a run of 4 bad defeats! Well done to the players and manager. It's good to see us move up to, erm, bottom place in the league, but well within sight of mid table.
  13. Actually I didnt see it that way Gringo. I actually thought he seemed more determined and assured? Its obviously going to take him time to fully get to grips with the media side of things.
  14. In the interests of fairness why don't you give the club the chance to comment? As can be seen from another posters experience (s)he wrote to them and received a prompt response inviting them in for a discussion about it - with the chairman no less! I am sure the same offer would be made to you if you got in touch with the club and you are unlikely to get a more 'authoritative' response from anyone else there than the chairman.
  15. We need to get to the International break with a point on the board. We may well still be firmly rooted to the foot of the table, but the guys cant go into that break with 4 losses. I'd like to go 4-4-2 and win by the 'score more goals than them' tactic, but i doubt that will happen. i'd be happy playing all of our fit defenders and resting our strikers and Jake and playing a 6-4-0 formation, which in effect would be a 9-1-0... not going to happen. I would hazard a guess that following Jake's cramp issue, he'll be swapped out for Billy King, but we should be starting both of them. In reality though, it looks like Richie's struggling to have the bottle to make some big decisions, or is he seeing something in training that isn't showing itself on matchday. My starting line up for next Saturday: Esson - OFW struggling for confidence and has looked shakey since returning from Euro's. Give him some game time in the reserves. Esson is also VERY vocal at the back, and this will help the team defending Tremarco - Pass marks in all games so far. Consistent. Warren - Mostly solid, gives everything, not sure if he's doing enough as a captain though Meekings - Will get better as he gets back up to match sharpness Horner - Has been far better than Raven. Needs to start. Offers something decent going forwards too Tansey - Not been having his best games of late, is reading the game well, trying to go the right direction, but his execution has been somewhat lacking as yet King - We have width and pace, we need to utilise it Draper - Solid, great presence, has made a difference since returning to starting line up Polworth - Just pips Vigurs to the starting line-up, but only just. Hasn't been great this season and needs a serious kick up the erse Mulraney - We have width and pace, we need to utilise it Fisher - Target man. Strong. Has looked sharp coming off the bench. Should be able to hold the ball up better than Boden Boden - Needs to take his chances better. Will do better having another Striker alongside him. Subs: OFW, Doran (not far away from starting, and would push out both Vigurs and Polly in the above lineup) Brown, Raven, Sutherland, MacRae, Robertson If we cant fill the bench with first team, why cant we throw a couple of the youngsters on there to give them that match-day experience. I don't think this is how we will line up though, we will stick to form, a 4-4-1-1. We will continue to try and accommodate all of Tansey, Vigurs, Draper and Polworth on the field at the same time, it won't work and we will struggle. Or it will work and we'll hand out a beating...not putting any money on that though. What we need to do though, is get BEHIND THE PLAYERS. we WILL lose more goals before we come good, we WILL try and force passes that aren't quite on and lose the ball, we WILL end up launching long balls from the back with 10 minutes left and two goals down...but if our own fans continue to boo and jeer everything that doesnt go our way then why should the players show any will or desire when their 'best' efforts are being met with such derision. We don't have a god-given right to win, or to do well, or even to stay in the Premiership. We continue to punch well above our weight and its a testament to the club that we are not used to being in this position. Let's get behind our team, and show Richie and the players that we're BEHIND THEM ALL THE WAY!! #COMEONTHECALEYJAGS
  16. Overall good result. Think polworth was poor and looked lacking in confidence. The number of chances created was great and watching the match was exciting and genuine entertainment. Richie throwing on the dogs at the end to worry the St Johnstone defence was great but could half done with being 15 min earlier. Real hope this could be an exciting season.

More to do with my time. They could have simply answered the 2 simple questions on this forum.
