In all seriousness I have formed a large number of friendships by personal abusing people on here
  2. Time to rename this thread. Vigurs is not an enigma, he's our best player.

You need to get out more.
  4. If it's inexpensive football you want why don't you go along at two o'clock on Sunday to watch the youngsters in the Youth Cup ? Entry is free and, judging on results and performances so far, entertainment is virtually guaranteed.
  5. I have just read this on the ICT site. He sounds a decent enough guy and I am pleased he has identified who is actually involved in Muirfield Mills. Anyone who has invested substantial funds in our club deserves our support as long as they have no hidden agenda which I don't think this group has. They do however need help on the football side and I hope they get this soon.

Now that I'm back in the house..... all I can say is that I find playing around with numbers faintly recreational!

    General Nonsense for this pish
  8. Good to see Vigurs deservedly being in the SPFL team of the week for the performance at Tannadice.

  10. Lonsana Doumbouya - The Christian name is easy enough but I've mostly heard his surname pronounced by fans as 'Doom-Boy-Ah'. Now granted, it looks a bit like that to an English speaker, but I watched his game for Guinea on YouTube a few weeks back and it had French commentary. They pronounced his name 'Doom-Boo-Ya' which does sound more French. Owain Fôn Williams - Now this is one that no-one seems to get it right at all. First of all I've heard some fans referring to him simply as 'Williams'. This is wrong and would be akin to calling someone with the surname MacDonald as 'Donald'. His first name is not pronounced like Owen or 'Oh-Wayne' as some seem to think. It is in-fact 'Oh-Ine' (Ine sounding like wine with the W taken away). His surname is also not pronounced 'fon', it is in-fact pronounced as 'Vorn'. I've also been told by a Welsh speaker that the Williams is not pronounced as it would be for a non-Welsh person, as in Welsh you actually acknowledge the A, meaning 'Will-Ee-Ams' is how to say it. Altogether, the correct pronounciation is 'Oh-Ine Vorn Will-Ee-Ams'. I expect these to be pronounced correctly by all fans from now on.
  11. Pleased to read that statement & that Graeme Rae is following through on his promise to provide more open & honest communication with the fans - it's very welcome & I would completely agree with the sentiments in the statement.
  12. Fraid I will be in the bowels of Lancashire tending for the needs of the mentally ill population. BUT I have already booked up for the next two Pars games. Overnight stay in Dumbfarmlife in January so we can rock the feckin joint.
  13. Falkirk are from a higher division and we are further into the competition. I see no difficulty with it.

The George is probably superfluous. Doubt that anyone would have assumed that you were referring to Fred Orwell. For what it's worth, nobody is stifling argument or debate even vigorous and robust debate, that's the lifeblood of this forum. What is objected to is personal abuse and insults. Surely, as adults, we are capable of disagreeing with somebody else without resorting to abusing them. You wouldn't, or at least shouldn't, do that to their face do why should it be any more acceptable to do so online ?

I think we can all agree that this is a top site and we are lucky to have it. Since the advent of Facebook many clubs have closed down their fora for this very reason I hope it continues and subscribers treat others as they themselves would like to be treated. Sometimes a thick skin is useful.

I admire your honesty (i have my doubts) as like yourself i to supported the blue half of Glasgow in my younger years It all goes back to the days standing in the howden end as a youngster ,blue was always my favourite colour & after all caley were the Rangers of the north due to the success of both clubs. As i said its the blatant hatred u seem to have with all things Rangers that i fail to understand iv not once seen you post anything regarding the anti British songs, the glorifying of terrorists ,the support for palestine protest or the various political banners that occurs at celtic games home & away ,or i ask you again have you yet condemned the Aberdeen fans for mocking the Ibrox disaster? is that not offensive to yourself being a fan of Scottish football? You seem to be offended by one club & one club only what happened ?did Rangers mess up your Saturday coupon a couple of times. Scottish football will never move on or be successful until the fans of every club accept that no matter how bad the crimes of one club were we actually need them more than ever as yes they bring unwanted baggage but they also bring the sponsors, the tv deals & they fill stadiums across Scotland along with the other lot. Anyway fellow must dash some of us have work to do, have enjoyed the chit chat lets do it over a pint next time nd we can maybe discuss our favourite billy urquhart goal versus Thistle or if ud prefer your favourite parkhead moment lol.

News flash kingsmills wants to talk about Rangers! In other news water is wet . Think its pretty obvious where your allegiances lie with your consistent spouting of about all things sevco, the rangers ,zombies or watever name is flavour of the month. You dont deal in facts you go by watever blogger or faceless twitterati yahoo says, for starters the BBC are not banned from ibrox they have chosen not to cover any games from there in support of bbc journalist who had his press pass removed because of unbalanced reporting. Also you state bigotry nd sectarianism but you fail to mention the sickening chants mocking the Ibrox disaster one of the greatest tragedies in Scottish history( did ur old trannie lose its reception at that point? )or the defacing of the Rangers team bus.Yes the billy boys is a disgrace but chants mocking an 8 year old boy who never returned from a football match offend much more or because its The Rangers or sevco is it ok to mock there dead? Next time you want to listen to Rangers play how about you turn the radio off nd go to the glenalbyn bar where im sure you will enjoy watching the other half of the old firm with your friends nd maybe u will join in with the songs nd chants that frequently get overlooked by the press nd people like you only hearing what u want to here.
  18. Disgusting, anti social habit which selfishly impacts on others. Should be restricted to the smoker's private home provided that there are no children.
  19. Stadium will be empty as a result I think of higher pricing and it being shown on TV.
