  1. This time tomorrow I'll be waiting to board my plane at Luton Airport, It's great that I have managed to arrange a trip up for such an important match C'mon U Caley!
  2. The excitement is mounting. Enjoy the game and cheer on the troops. guys.
  3. I presume that Charlie B was washing his hair.
  4. Could you please clarify Izzys full name to avoid any confusion

Apparently his nickname in the team was 'Dennis Shyness'?....I liked that about him, no ego/big headedness, just a fantastic footballer
  6. Good for you Mike. Enjoy. I' m currently on hols overseas, otherwise I would have joined you for this one.

...... and then, modest to a fault, Dennis would escape through a fire door to avoid having to talk to the press about his five star performance!

Top player and top bloke. I haven't come across many gentlemen in football but he certainly is/was one. ?
  9. I have a season ticket for home games, but I hardly ever go to away games - the time and money commitment is more than I could manage. However I often think about how impressive the level of commitment from fans who travel to all the away games is, especially on the coldest of winter days or when away matches are cancelled at short notice. Well done and thanks to those of you who fly the flag for Caley Thistle at games around the country throughout the season.
  10. More than I expected after the postponement on Tuesday. I'm always terrible at estimating these things, but maybe 60? As Caley Stan says, it was an utterly dominant performance, but I think we'll probably need to be more clinical on Saturday than we were last night; although, assuming Dunfermline actually come out at us more than Dumbarton did, then we might get more space in which to break and create. Difficult to believe we're in this position, really - if we were to complete the eight in a row we need to make the play-off, it would be some achievement for this squad.
  11. Gutted to miss that one. Did we have many there?

Who can forget the goal at Tynecastle when he turned Stephane Mahe and struck it past Niemi, or the 4 against Ayr, or the many goals in routine dismantlings of County, plus the two late ones to give us a 3-3 draw at TCS at New Year. He even passed on his 2 season tickets at St Mirren so Naelifts and I could get in. What a gent.
  13. 100%...and you only have to look at last weekend where we had 3 suspensions to cover to see the squad is capable of adapting.
  14. Of course it's the result that is important. We would all settle for a scrappy one nil win in front of 1,800 but a win of any kind and a crowd of 4,000 would be an additional boost to the coffers and the confidence and provide the best atmosphere of the season so far.

and here's me thinking the day was tinged with the news that it was my last game as a UK resident ! 4 days after that game I emigrated to Canada ... bumping into David Bagan in the Glasgow airport departure lounge on the day of my flight while wearing an ICT top :)
