  1. If we somehow had kept Donaldson and McCart I'd be confident of us securing second point and having a great shot at going up in the playoffs. Losing both of them is a bitter blow to our chances. I just cannot see Mckay, McHattie or Toshney being of the level required to keep us in second spot let alone be successful in the playoffs. I hope I'm wrong but these moves significantly weaken our team and damage our chances of promotion. Another season down here is going to ruin this club.
  2. https://ictfc.com/club-news-jamie-mccart-2 Oh don't go breaking McCart. Sorry.
  3. I doubt we'll sign anyone in the next few days. This is basically it, we can't afford to turn down cash offers for players who are going leave anyway. We'll have to proceed with two of McHattie, McKay and Toshney as our centre backs. Maybe it'll turn out well, maybe it won't. But I think anyone talking about replacing McCart and Donaldson with signings of an equal standard is going to be disappointed.
  4. Same day we are home to Dundee. Fingers crossed it's a good turn out should be a good evening
  5. The Supporters Trust, in conjunction with the Angel Wings Baby James Legacy, is delighted to announce that it is holding what promises to be an exciting evening event on Saturday 21st March in the P&J lounge at the Stadium. Tickets will cost £26.64 (£25 + booking fee) and are available from Eventbrite. This event is to celebrate the first 25 years of the club's history and to relive some of the fantastic memories those years have provided us with. To help us do that we will watch some video footage from the archive, have a little quiz, listen to a speaker from the club's proud past and have a Q&A session. We are calling it a "legends evening" not just because we will be reliving some of the great moments the legends of our club have provided over the years, but because some of the legends will sharing these memories with us in person. A 2 course buffet meal will be included in the cost of the ticket. Come and join us - it should be great fun! Further details to follow. Ticket numbers will be limited so book early on the link below to avoid disappointment. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/25th-anniversary-legends-evening-tickets-89468106515 ** UPDATE. March 9th. ** The club has kindly agreed to have the Sports Bar open after the Dundee game whilst the P&J lounge is turned around after match day hospitality. Ticket price includes a 2 course buffet which will include a hot main course. The MC for the evening will be Paul Chalk who many of you will know from his "Alive 'N Kicking" show on North Highland Radio between 7-9 on a Friday evening. A number of ICT Legends will be joining us for this fun evening. This will include Mike Noble, Stuart Golabek and Ross Tokely.
  6. Surely you need someone in defence who can head a ball!
  7. Mckay was meant to be our saviour in our relegation season and it didn’t work out so I’m not in favour of that.
  8. Personally I feel we can look forward to yet another season in this league if we don't sign another experienced centre back in the window. I'm not a great fan but I would take Berra from Hearts until the end of the season.
  9. nope. We can match anyone on our day, just need to find some consistency. I agree. Even if a player intends to give his all until the end of his contract I think it is only human nature, in most cases, to maybe not go in 100% or pull out of a tackle that is 50-50 for fear of getting an injury that might affect future plans. I hate PCAs with a passion, they create a whole breed of players who spend 6 months just going through the motions. Cant blame the player, they have to work within the system that is there, but perhaps the system itself needs some tweaks !

Taking on board January transfer activity and feedback from the Ayr game, do we need a shake up for Saturday? If Welsh and Walsh are fully fit, both should start and probably worth giving Toshney a start, particularly if McCart is off to Perth. What about this as a starter for eleven, with Storey playing off White: Ridgers Rooney Toshney McHattie Tremarco Welsh Vincent Walsh Storey Doran White
  11. That announcement was over a week ago now. Any idea when we will learn more?
  12. So much for "we're not selling anyone within a week of window closure"...

    Depends who's actually left...
  14. Wonderful. Thanks to ICTFC for telling us what we all knew a couple of weeks ago.
  15. Get Shane upfront and put White in defence he can't be any worse there!
  16. ...why , can shane play at the back?
  17. No info in the story regarding fee etc. Bit worrying now we have lost two of our first puck defence and only brought one in. I wonder if we have someone lined up. I also wonder if the club will try and get Sutherland before the window closes.
  18. Can't say yogis team didn't work for him that's madness best times ever for us punches well above there weight for years
  19. This is what erks me about Robbo. He makes broad opening statements in the press and then does the opposite. Doesn't exactly install confidence in him. I know transfers are a numbers game but what happened to not letting people go a week before deadline day? What about all the bull about players thinking again etc - Fans are beginning to lose confidence in him and his abilities. If he has lost the dressing room already, which is a possibility given our inconsistent form and players leaving like rats from a sinking ship, then I reckon his days are numbered unless by some miracle he pulls his finger out of his arse and makes some serious signings in the next 3 days - otherwise promotion will be purely a pipe dream. Somehow I doubt it ...
  20. I think that’s naive of him. McCart didn’t play on Saturday so may feel he is being punished by others underperforming. That is hardly likely to motivate him, or any others there is interest in.
  21. Am I deluded in saying that on our day we can match anyone ? The current inconsistency and not knowing what fare is going to be on show is so frustrating. But we will have to go with what we have got.

That will probably be the starting X1. But it is clearly to early for other forum users to contemplate. Lets all whine on about inconsistency, individual player, tactical naievity and financial constraints. And what about the car parking, the distance of the ground from the town, the food on fare, the aquifer and its effect on the playing surface, the bar closing too early. Come on lets concentrate on the important issues before picking a feckin team.
  23. They did only lose 1-0 to Ayr. Should we not be more concerned about not scoring at the other end.
  24. Losing both our first choice CBs is a bitter blow to our promotion hopes. Massively disappointed.

Brad at the back for remainder of season a very worrying thought ☹️
