  1. Incredible backs to the wall performance. With all that crap thrown at us, and one of the worst refereeing performances of all time, we stuck to our guns, defended resiliently, and then scored five great penalties. Never mind the quality of the game, let's salute the fantastic spirit and never say die attitude of our boys. Nerves of steel, and very well deserved.

  3. Historically ICT flourish in cup ties - and yes, this was a cup tie - with nine men. Nothing between the sides, there was never going to be, but ICT lads showed the character. Willie the Gollum was a joke in the juniors and there was relief and laughter when he got kicked into the top flight. He hasn't improved.

  5. Agree with a lot of the suggestions on here. Arbroath are very good at stifling the game, we need to address that by strengthening our midfield which is outnumbered. The result is our attackers are starved of service and become wasted a lot of the time. I would drop Mackay to the bench, bring on Allardice if he is fit, and get the balls to the attackers from midfield through the lines to Samuels and Chalmers. We have to freshen up and bring something different to the table. We have the players to do it, and there won't be many goals in this game, so those moments of guile and inspiration can be crucial to turning the game. Give them something to think about.

  6. We need to get a hold of midfield, and if that means five in the middle, so be it. The team also continue to use the long punt forward, just for the opposition centre backs to win the ball, and start another attack. I don't see Dodds screaming at the team to stop it, so he must be happy with it. All our best moves and chances were created by passing the ball on the deck, that's were we will win this game in my opinion, get hold of the midfield and feed the attacker. I really think we can win this, but not with the futile long punt.

  7. Between injuries and suspensions, what sort of team will we be able to put out next week? In a fair world, both reds would be cancelled on appeal. But Collum is refereeing the Cup Final, so the SFA are not going to undermine him, are they?

  9. If there was any doubt about the team spirit, that display blew it out of the water. Brilliant

  10. Proud of these boys, yes the game was crap to watch as a spectacle but when we were down to 9 men,8 men and so on,when you think the ref had an absolute howler and backs were to the wall,we dug deep and showed true grit

  11. I'll go with that, billy has done a lot of hard running over the last three games, was starting to look tired. Hopefully win the midfield battle with this setup.

  12. Another Friday, another crucial match with hopefully 2 more to come. We need to better out of the blocks than Tuesday but we can certainly do this.
