  1. Just heard Chic Young on radio calling us the Highland League team ! Surely he shouldn’t be allowed to insult the Highland League like that!!

  2. There is absolutely no progression through this team. Duffy or Ram get the ball at the back and stride forward but Carson and Welsh are nowhere to be found to take the ball from them or make themselves available to create some space. So Duffy and Ram end up dinking or hoofing the ball forward in the vague direction of Mckay but most of the time it goes to Sneddon. It's repetitive garbage and absolutely mind boggling how Dodds hasn't done something to address this. I think we've had one shot in the first half. Pathetic.

  3. Knee jerk reaction… Someone had to say it!! Let’s hope his appointment helps solve the monumental injury crisis at our club.

  4. The club statement is interesting. I wonder what assistance he has been providing over the last 12 months given his medical background…..and our injury situation. There is no mention of him investing, so hopefully he is bringing business acumen and positive ideas to the Board, and hopefully he also believes in good communication. Time will tell. A limited company is required to advise Companies House if changes to Directors within 14 days. I’m not sure if there can be delays between Companies House receiving information and on line records being updated.

  5. We have been truly awful to watch every season since we fell back into the Championship. It is only because of the low quality of other teams that we have not completely fallen away (although we are in great danger of doing that now). No shape, no leaders and no f***ing use. Total clear out at all levels needed.

  6. Most Highland League teams are better run than we are.

  7. Can someone summarise the issues that should make us concerned about the recent Director appointments? Thanks.

  8. I really feel sorry for anyone who travelled down to Glasgow tonight. Partick have battered us and looked like they are in a low gear. We’ve never looked like creating anything. It’s all too predictable. Are some players going through the motions, playing an easy pass but not doing the creative stuff they should be doing? Have Dodds and the backroom staff lost the players? The lack of news on injured players is a concern. How long are MacGregor, Allardice and Samuels to be out for? We were never told they had long term injuries (as far as I know). Where do we go from here? It’s hard to see anything for us this season based on the last couple of months. I’m not one to clamour for a Manager’s head but I really do think change is needed. Even when we were winning games we were unconvincing. This squad should be doing better than it is. Talk on another thread about being at risk of administration is a major concern. We were always well run financially, living in it close to our means. Things are wrong on and off the pitch. Time for the CEO to step up and outline the plans for the rest of this season and for next season.

  9. The players stopped playing for the manager a long time ago.

  10. Hard to think of a worse performance in recent seasons than this piping hot garbage.

  11. 4th goal was schoolboy stuff. What a joke. Give us all all an early Christmas present and get Dodds out the door. If he has any decency he'll resign!!!!!

  12. Doran on at half time for Boyd. As things stand, we are 7 points off the promotion play offs and 9 off the relegation play off. Sadly I don’t see us closing the gap at the top any time soon and we are more likely to get dragged into the relegation fight.

  13. Imagine being reduced to keeping an eye on Cove v Hamilton so that we can hold on to 7th place. Time up for Dodds.

  14. I'm done with this team until our WORST EVER MANAGER is gone because I DON'T ACCEPT this and nor should Mr Gardiner. Dudds HAS TO GO TONIGHT and get Esson in as caretaker for the rest of the season!

  15. Barrett 2 Caley Thistle 0 - where are my boots - and if we have so many promising kids why is the bench half empty - this could be my vote for the worst ICT performance that I have ever witnessed

  16. Max Ram punting the ball to nobody every time he kicks it forward. It all looks to be happening in slow motion for us and all too easy for Partick. Rubbish springs to mind.

  17. If the plan was damage limitation it’s not worked. We’ve struggled to keep the ball and played too many hopeful balls. Dan Mackay has had a couple of runs but one long range Billy Mckay shot was our only attempt and it was easily saved. Partick look dangerous and I’m worried they have more gears they can go up which will make the second half a really tough watch.

  18. It’s good to have a livestream available so that’s how I will be spending the evening. After effectively a three week break, now’s the time to start a positive run and get our season back on track. We start second favourites but hopefully we can spring a surprise and get the three points.

  19. An educated and informed member of the forum, he often managed to bring a bit of common sense to a heated discussion. I too enjoyed his posts and he will be greatly missed.

  20. I evidently have not been on here for a while but I am truly shocked at reading this. We had our differences, we never met, I would not have recognised him if we had met - but he had become an integral part of this site and it probably was a major part of his life and enjoyment - O2B

  21. Whatever, keep on kissing ass and defending the indefensible as the club walks straight into disaster
