  1. The only way we could be in truly safe hands given our current predicament would be if we were owned by someone very rich, generous and possessing honourable intentions for ICT. I don’t know any of the Board or major shareholders but I’m pretty sure they would all jump at the chance to step aside and let someone else have a go. Are the current lot doing a good job? Mixed - clearly there are a lot of well documented problems and things that could/should have been done better. On the plus side, we still exist, as a full time club, and have retained the youth setup. Any or all of those 3 core things could easily have gone since relegation, it’s clearly been a struggle to retain them, and it appears to be the case that directors have been putting their own cash in to maintain those things and pay the bills, something that they are not obliged to do. Until I see evidence to the contrary, I am willing to believe that the people involved are doing their best for ICT under very difficult circumstances, but if there are people who could do better I’d love to see them step forward.

  2. You can see why he lost the plot what a dive! He will be in trouble for that now. I would have him back in our team anytime

  3. Probably a case of one player showing more passion and fight I that clip than our whole team combined this season so far.

  4. I think the far more important question is; Has there ever been an ICT manager that you haven’t called to be sacked?? Lolz Who do you think should replace Dodds then is there any yokels or bumpkins in Caithness that could do a turn? From my experience Pentand Utd were always a well run outfit that has professional aspirations. Dougal

  5. People and businesses on Facebook claiming that they were invoicing and being paid (in part) by the club in relation to the concerts. Also, and this is undeniable fact, online ticket sales were through the clubs ticketing account and platform. On the above basis, there is clear cross-trading and it is hard to argue that club and concert companies are unrelated. As I said previously, Scot Gardiner intimated on the podcast that the club had been paid for services provided. Further indication that the companies were related and/or offering favourable terms in their dealings. Baffles me that anyone thinks this is defensible.

  7. After review of the comments in this thread by the mod team we will leave the referred to posts hidden and post this to make it perfectly clear to all that this is not acceptable. The posts made had zero relevance to the thread, and cross the line in terms of our site rules. It is clear they were meant as a personal dig towards a club official with no relevance to the discussion at hand. If the poster has a beef of a personal nature with that individual or any other individual at the club this is not the platform for that kind of inflammatory post. Debate the topic, not the person, and certainly not the child of a person who is not even a part of the topic up to that point. Raise controversial topics if you want - some of these have been interesting, thought provoking and worthy of discussion up to this point - but leave the personal stuff out of it. These have been our rules for 20+ years and will remain so. Consider this a clear yellow card on the personal stuff. Emotions are running high right now because we do seem to be challenged both on and off the field, but getting overly personal loses focus from the real discussion points that we need to focus on to right what appears to be a heavily listing ship right now.

  8. It’s a strange position I find myself. Such is the (poor) performance of the team this season I questioned the capability of the manager to affect the performance positively. When it was clear improvement on the field was not going to happen I looked to the Board / CEO to see a route for improvement! They are in full possession on the financial position of the club, so I expect they consider this in any decision as to whether Dodds can change things (the way we all want). Billy Dodds is no monster and wanted to see ICT succeed for sure! It just transpired that he, like 98% of other ex footballers turn out to be unable to translate personal positivity into actual team performance to match the board and fan’s aspirations. Billy Dodds I suspect would have taken an exit card in the past (and right now) but has been asked by the CEO to help steer the club to safety (that is avoid being relegated), this season. BD is a proud man and will I expect agree to this recognising most want him gone! So closing - I will turn up in Jan and try to give my team ICT support! If anything the fans are the club and we stick through the hard times! BD will do his best and ultimately be replaced in due course. Let’s give him and the team our support through to safety from threat of relegation! all the best for the festive season! bc

  9. We have been truly awful to watch every season since we fell back into the Championship. It is only because of the low quality of other teams that we have not completely fallen away (although we are in great danger of doing that now). No shape, no leaders and no f***ing use. Total clear out at all levels needed.

  10. You know what, until 2023 I'm not even going to think about ICT and the disaster we currently are. Will I be sitting in the cold on 2nd January at the Cove game? In all honesty I think I'll give it a miss and 'do something less boring instead' as they used to say on 'Why Don't You?' back in the day!! Merry Christmas

  11. I have a feeling this could spell the end for our WORST MANAGER EVER so I felt I'd start this thread to see what you guys come up with, of which I hope are serious not fantasy names such as Pep eg. I have a feeling managers like Stuart Kettlewell and Paul Hartley could be in contention and tbh both would get a no from me as my preference would be Barry Robson (which is highly unlikely) or someone else making his debut as a manager. All I can say is, I am giving up until Dudds is GONE because I have had just about enough of this Dross EVERY F****** WEEK !

  13. The time has come for a total clear out. Its not just Dodds that needs to go. It is quite clear things are just not working and we are in freefall down the league. Rumours floating about that we are on the brink of administration is really worrying.
