He did it!! 15hrs51 total duration, with the pedals turning for 13hrs26. 03:00 start, Daviot by 03:30, and Aviemore by 05:30. He'd got to Dunkeld by 11:00 and was through Stirlingshire in no time at all, arriving at Hampden at 18:51 What an effort. What a man. Monies raised go to Mikeysline and Celtic Foundation (like a the start of thread). Thanks to all who supported and donated. Very much appreciated.3 points

On the One Show just now, BBC1, Rod Stewart (seemed a wee bit ‘happy’)(maybe been on the juice) said his team were going to win the treble on Saturday. Come on ICT, burst his bubble and send him home sad to USA. Please.2 points

I saw this too. We should register our disgust to the One Show for not even giving us a name check and maybe tomorrow night ICT could be the guests, or maybe one of our cup songs could be played.........ok I've woken up from that dream, but maybe they would at least confirm our existence.1 point

Aaargh I missed this - well done you absolute nutters!!! I wondered what you’d do for your 70th this year Steve, can’t believe it’s now 20 years since yer daft idea for the Highland March was born to mark your 50th! Such grand memories, I’ll never forget them, definitely made special by the great team that took part. Donation on the way - what the fekk are you gonna do for your 80th?1 point

It’s really bad - players must be feeling underwhelmed and most fans feeling left out of showing appreciation of those who got the awards.1 point

Apologies, haven't been paying attention... I think the view from a hill is Kinloch Rannoch. So the wee yellae man tells me the first two are in the same place. The hill in the other pic is Schiehallion.1 point

I will review in the off-season. Its all about getting enough revenue to keep the site ticking over but not making it too annoying for users. The Vignette ads for some reason perform better than any other type of ads, not sure why.1 point
-
I agree. I only mentioned it in case it was something I had inadvertently done. They were only a minor inconvenience so no concerns from me if they are reinstated.1 point
-
TBH, I didn't regard them as a problem, and if they double the ad revenue, then I'd be happy for you to stick with them. Just my experience and opinion, though.1 point

OF fans sat with so many people in the North Stand when the ugly sisters came to town. Don't remember any stand out issues. If we aren't going to sell the tickets give them to Celtic if we get more money out of them I'm not bothered as we won't be making money Celtic anytime soon in the Championship.1 point

If I’ve got Celtic fans near me, especially if they set off these colourful but choking flares, and loudly cheering their team whilst around us ICT fans, then I’ll be shouting for the stewards. I’ll also be doing my utmost to show these fans they are in the wrong area and should get to ..... Celtic fans have no place in the designated ICT section.1 point

While I agree with you that there is a significant influx of people of a more mature nature, I'm a pensioner, and when I used to visit other city's in other countries, I was always interested in their local teams, and while i might not buy a football shirt, I would buy a football related souvenir rather than a replica leaning tower or Eiffel tower, I have bottle openers, wallets and other paraphernalia. A lot of shoppers I saw in Bridge Street yesterday were all quite young, they don't all come from cruise ships, and if the club don't try, nothing is gained, every pound is a prisoner, and I just see glaring opportunities missed.1 point

Yes. That’s been confirmed in the SC build up thread. Unlikely but doesn’t stop us hoping and dreaming!1 point

The winners of the Scottish Cup go into the Play off round of the Europa League and if they lose will automatically drop in the Conference League group stages (Hearts this season). If the winners of the cup have qualified for any of the European spots via the league then the Europa League play off spot will go to the team sitting in 3rd in the Prem (why Aberdeen are partying) and an extra spot conference spot will be applied to 5th. That will all happen if the likely even that Celtic win the cup. If Caley cause the biggest shock in history (hope so) then we will get the play off spot and guaranteed Conference Group Stage football and Aberdeen and currently Hearts will get the Conference qualifying round spots.1 point

unfortunately, nothing I can do to fix it. Seems to be ad related (possibly due to browser settings, browser extensions, or other security software designed to block ads) and only happens for certain people (not everyone). The 'error' is not a server-side issue that I can troubleshoot and fix, and it is also not logged as a software error in the software logs. Unless someone wants to finance the site to pay our running costs, I simply can't get rid of the ads. When enabled I have little to no control over what the ads are for as they are contextual to the end user. The only thing I can do is block all ads of a certain type - like we did with the 'vignette' ads that everyone complained about but again, blocking each type of ad has a financial impact (about 25% in the case of the vignette ones). Its a balancing act on my end.1 point

On reflection, I apologise for my initial knee jerk response. For all I know, Shane could be one of the many thousands who have a gambling addiction. According, I withdraw what I said previously and, if that is the case, I hope that this very public exposure is a route to whatever therapy or counselling may be required.1 point

In its ticketing information, the Club is rightly highlighting the following text. IMPORTANT – These tickets are strictly for ICTFC fans and anyone attempting to sell any tickets to outside parties will have ALL of the tickets they bought cancelled and rendered unusable on the day. Similarly, any non-ICTFC fans found in the Caley Thistle section of the Stadium will be removed by stewards immediately. I think it is important that we all support each other in ensuring that any Celtic fans in our section are identified to the stewards and that the stewards promptly do what they have been instructed to do.0 points
