Considering there's been a lot of whinging about how we haven't adequately replaced Adam Rooney, and how we don't have an adequate goal threat, and that Tade isn't a 'natural goalscorer' (whatever the hell that means), I thought it might be interesting to compare Rooney from last season against Tade from this season: Rooney in 2010/11 All competitions: 21 goals in 42 games (41 starts, 1 as sub) SPL: 15 goals in 38 games (37 starts, 1 as sub) Tade in 2011/12 All competitions: 6 goals in 15 games (13 starts, 2 as sub) SPL: 6 goals in 14 games (13 starts, 1 as sub) Note that Rooney's goals included 7 penalties, 5 of which were in the league. So he only scored 10 goals from open play in the SPL last season. Tade is, in fact, only 4 goals away from equalling Rooney's total in open play for the whole of last season in the SPL!

I really hope it isnt Proctor. I dont want him anywhere near the defence not when we are finally getting it together. If Tokely is fit the put him back in. If not then maybe try Meekings at CB or put Piermayr there and Meekings at right back, if all else fails play Foran at CB, but i really dont want Proctor back in the team at all.

Another excellent performance by Kenny today. Notice the unbeaten run coincides with him playing in centre half. Offers Pace through the middle which we have lacked. Long may he continue. Ps also gives G Shinnie a game.

I commented via Twitter during the game that the only noise being heard at the game was that of the ICT fans. The only noise coming from the Motherwell fans were the constant calls for a handball every time the ball hit anything other than a foot!!! Johndo also got a personal mention on Twitter, but that was to do with him having an odd number of eyes or maybe they just took the count while he was showing someone his tattoo!!!

Slow motion of video taken by Andycam clearly shows that Kenny got the ball, not the man. So, who made the decision at the Appeal? Who viewed the video carefully? North/South bias ? or what..... For my sins I do hope that C..nty make it to the SPL (as long as we are still there and are always higher than them in any table) then those namby-pambies in the Central Belt have to travel SO far north twice as often. Ooh the shame - hope it snows much more than it has recently - oh the poor souls, my heart bleeds - not.

Can I just explain that the reason why I looked like Billy feckin No Mates at the end was becos I was too fecked to run down the front to high five Gregory Tade - and I had to do with Riley instead !!

Felt Esson looked pretty shaky at times today, couple goalmouth scrambles where he miss timed his punch, also one in second half where he slid in and you expected him to gather ball but instead kicked it. Anyone agree? Still not complaining, first clean sheet !!

He was superb at Easter Road and superb again today. One of butchers best signing's imo.

A great team effort today which sets down a marker for the rest of season. Taking the Pars result into account the team should now be looking up the table rather than down. Golabart seems to be coming on to great form. A special mention to Tade whose goal was superb. Bbc Alba, can you show our matches every week beacause we always win when you televise the game.

Just back. It wasn't the best game but I was happy with Caley's performance. Richie Foran dropped out from our XI due to suspension and Nick Ross came into the side to replace him. The match started with Motherwell making most of the pressing, as you'd expect as the home team. They had most of the game and were stretching our back four reasonably well, albeit without causing any real difficulties to our goal. As the half went on, Golobart had to slide in to deny Higdon (I think) and there was a massive shout for handball, which obviously you couldn't see from our end. Omar Daley, who looked lively, had an opening in the box but sent his shot way over. As the match moved towards half-time, we came into the match a bit more and started to threaten the 'Well goal. Mainly this was restricted to long range efforts and hard work from Billy McKay to create an opening, but at half-time I was fairly pleased with how things were going. We started the second half well, forcing a series of corners and creating a few openings. Gregory Tade (who had looked poor in the first half) was making more threatening runs down the left and Jonny Hayes was getting more involved in the game, including a great chance right at the start of the half where he jinked to the byline but saw his shot blocked. As this was happening, Well did make chances but I thought ouir defence did a good job. I haven't been to many games this season but it was the first time I've thought our back four looked reasonably solid. Golobart is a fine player and is capable of telling tackles and interceptions and can also pass the ball. We were on top and had our best chance thus far when Tade was played through in the left hand channel and bore down on goal, only to see his shot blocked by Randolph for a corner. I'd been despairing at Tade in the first half but he did well here and forced a corner. Even better was to come midway through the second half when he took a ball in to feet, spun past his marker and cracked a stunning shot into the top corner. It was an absolutely superb strike, an indication of what he is capable of when he concentrates. We picked up from such a great goal and carved oiut a couple of half chances following this but the anxiety of our team not having had a clean sheet started showing and we began sitting deeper. Butcher obviously felt it too as he put on Steve Williams and David Proctor, leaving our players confused as to who was supposed to be doing what in the back four, which became something approaching a back seven! We held out though and the players, especially the defenders, showed what it meant to them with passionate celebrations at the end. Our best players were Golobart, who is a cool customer at the back, and Lee Cox, who is energetic and makes space very well in the midfield. Tade deserves a mention as well for his goal and his second half showing.

Brewster signed him after trying to sell Rankin before changing his mind and trying to keep him despite the fact Rankin was already on his way to Hibs. Imrie had undoubted potential but he always seemed to be out for his own gain rather than the teams and in his later time at the club was proving to be a disruptive influence on the team imho. Hasnt been missed.

No way, doing this would feel dirty, any extra profits would feel like drug money or something! I'm sure there's a fair number there anyway, one (idiot) guy and his poor wee boy were flung out at the last game. Out of interest guys what are the capacities of each stand? I've always wondered.

Isn't the attendance money from Cup games split between the two teams? If so allowing more Celtic fans in would only benefit them financially and, you would assume, mentally.
