Hello, With the new season upon us a few ICT supporters have gotten together to produce The Wyness Shuffle, the first, as far as we are aware, podcast covering ICT. Hopefully you enjoy (most of) it and it sets you up nicely for the season ahead. The first episode will be available tomorrow so give it a listen when it's available and let us know what you think either here on online on the Twitter or Facebook page for the pod. In the future we'll hopefully get some interviews with various (ex) ICT players or managers but if you have any suggestions as to what you might like to "see" in another podcast let us know and if you'd like to get involved in any capacity send us a message Cheers!

From a distance that felt like a really good pre season, especially the performances against the Premiership clubs. Must give us confidence for the more competitive matches about to start. I'm looking forward to the season with a good deal of optimism. Good luck lads, have a good one!

Some really good signs tonight. First half the saints had a lot of possession and we defended really well. Restricted them to a couple of decent chances. Up front Walsh was the danger and everything went through him. He provided good ball in for a nice close finish from Keating. Second half we looked more dangerous. Machado is a talent for sure. Todorov scoring from a corner following Mitch forcing a good save from saints keeper. Machado in the right place for a nice third. Carson was very impressive and looks a great addition. Listen people we are looking good.

last year's pre-season my comments were slated for pointing out weaknesses, however these weaknesses have now been rectified really well. Last night's showing was impressive, the potential is there for presenting a side capable of winning 98% of matches, I am excited about our players and our chances of producing the goods. Just one thing bothers me are penalty giveaways going to become a habit, I certainly hope not, that one is up to Robbo and I am sure he is well aware of it. Bring it on, the new pitch is ready, the Team is ready, I am ready and from what I learned from people at last nights match I think our support is ready. final comment :- That was an excellent referee last night.

Really impressed by the performance last night. Davie Carson looks like he will be a brilliant signing. He's all action and loves a tackle. I thought Todorov was very good at centre half and when he went up top. He showed loads of energy and never stopped running. The young guys all did well also. Especially Machado and McGregor. Really looking forward to the competitive games kicking off next week.

The one question I have about it is why do they need a separate group?

The Board of the Supporters Trust met last night with Scot Gardiner, the club's new CEO. Scot has a wealth of experience of management within football clubs and it is clear that his knowledge and enthusiasm are going to be a terrific asset to this club. We are grateful to Scot for his open and frank approach and delighted that he understands the importance of engaging constructively with supporters groups. He is already working on a number of initiatives and I think we can expect some very positive announcements from the club in the next few weeks as we head into our anniversary season. In relation to the business of the Trust, members can expect a communication soon regarding a new membership fee which we are required to levy under the Rules. Having an up to date membership list of paid up members is crucial to the effective and legal operation of the Trust. The fans Party is scheduled to take place on Saturday July 20th starting at 7pm at the stadium. Confirmed details will be released on the club's media sites and through the Trust's social media outlets in the next day or two. This event will be a great celebratory way to start the season! We are currently putting together a fans survey about certain aspects of the match day experience. We hope to carry this out on a match day in the near future and will update folk on this soon. Colleagues on the Trust Board offered congratulations to our Secretary, Jennifer Aitchison on her appointment to the Board of Supporters Direct Scotland. SD Scotland is effectively the parent body for Supporters Trusts throughout Scotland and is the body that liaises with national football bodies in Scotland. Jen's involvement on the national Board will allow us to have a greater insight of and input into initiatives at a national level. The personal contact with colleagues at other clubs where fan involvement with clubs has been much more high profile than it has here will also be invaluable to us in our developing role within the club. Already we have fed in to a multi-agency consultation document on a National Strategy for Policing Football in Scotland being led by Police Scotland. Our view is that the focus of the football community should be less on the policing in dealing with unacceptable behaviour, but more on preventing it in the first place. There has been a lot of discussion on CTO over the years about the behaviour of some sections of our support and our view is that an engaging educational approach should be the cornerstone of the approach at club level. A noisy and exuberant support creates real atmosphere at games and is greatly appreciated by the lads on the pitch. However, when that exuberance spills over into abusive chanting, throwing flares, threatening behaviour and vandalism etc, then it quickly turns into a negative impact on the club. It is easy for the excitement of the moment and peer pressure to cause folk to cross the line and act out of character in these situations. Rather than identifying the individuals who have stepped over the line and punish them, we would rather an educational approach was used to help people understand why their behaviour was unacceptable and the kind of impact it has on other people. Better still to have proactive engagement to prevent folk stepping over the line in the first place. And I'm not just referring to the youngsters here! This is something we will want to actively discuss with the club in due course. Having said that, we recognise there are limits to the educational approach and there will be occasions where there is no option other than serious sanctions. The club has been going through a difficult period. But as we head into our 25th anniversary season, I feel we have turned the corner and are now well placed to build on the good work Robbo has done in the last couple of years and make a real push for promotion. Unlike our neighbours, we have no benevolent backer pouring millions into the club and therefore success will only come if the club engages fully with the local community and the community gives its support and backing to the club. This is going to be a crucial year for the club but I sense its going to be a good one. Lets all get behind our team!

I have to admit this pre season has given me a good feeling about the up and coming season. Some decent match ups against premiership oposition and the team held their own. No reason to fear anyone in the league. It might be more the other way round after the way we finished last season. Ayr are definitely weaker this season utd haven't really added anything to their squad. Dundee will be on a slump from relegation and Arbroath coming up have had a bad pre season. It's their forbthe taking let's get on the pitch and do take it.

Premiership here we come...I guess...but on the way, we need to stop the Quadruple Treble by lifting the Scottish Cup...or is that too far fetched?

A very good result and some strong performances. The comparison between last pre season and this is like night and day. Robbo has compiled a very strong squad IMO, and this coupled with some very good young players coming through, should see us being serious challengers this season.

Is that not the great thing about football - we all have our favourite players, favourite moments and who cares if anyone actually disagrees.

Let's face it people we have arguably the best manager in the championship. We have a squad of players with a mix of good young players alongside experienced players who have demonstrated their abilities last season. Added to this are some good signings. We can go into this season with confidence and a team on the up. They can set their sights high. Let's get right behind them. ?

Some of the posts on here are class we sign some completely unknown goat herder from Bulgaria it's and I quote "quite remarkable how Robbo does it" Utd sign the best player in the division but yet him and Neilson are suddenly terrible ! Dark horses for a play off spot get a £10 on it Morton gonna pay for my week in Shagaluf nxt year!

Entirely agree. It will be a tough league next season and to have any chance of winning it we need to get off to a consistently good start. We have finished very well in the last two seasons but that has not been enough and won't be again next season.

I don't get it when people call the league cup a "mickey mouse" competition. I was there when we lost to Aberdeen, and I was devastated to lose that final, and are they saying that a third of the trophies that Celtic won on their historic treble treble are mickey mouse? Every trophy that we are involved in are important to our development and in some cases, our history. I for one, can't wait for the dates to be announced, roll on the new season.
