  • Don't say that!!! For the love of God watch what you say about vigurs or you run the risk of incurring the old caley girl wrath, and the red dots of her cleeky minions

Robbo still sussing out but given it is Falkirk then I would suggest that this may be his favoured 1st X1 at the present time ?

Not sure as no Warren - take it he's injured?

Not looking good 55% possession but only 2 attempts on goal 1 on target comparison Falkirk 5 attempts 3 on target (2 Goals)  looks like it is going to be a long hard season

0 goals from open play in competitive games. That has to be a concern going into the season.   I'm sure we can trot out the usual excuses  e.g. the league cup group stage is a bit of a glorified friendly, the team is gelling etc. but we need to see more improvement asap it it's going to be a long hard season.

Did we not score 3 in the 1st game

Yes, but from 2 corners and a free kick.  Not from open play.

Not going to read to much into this. Not even August yet, lots of new faces and against a more settled team who will undoubtedly be challenging for promotion.

I take it we've signed Alex Cooper then?

Yep, that's what I was alluding to.

Never looked like threatening Falkirk today, same old familiar shape and tactics. Very poor team of strangers beaten by a much better much more organised unit. Early days yes, but same old story to come

Long ball tactics in windy conditions are seldom a recipe for success.  Oakley looked decent when he came on but I thought Zschusschen was really poor.  Polworth also had a game to forget.  Seedorf had another good performance though.

Seedorf & Oakley when he came on continued to look good. Robbos post match interview I thought was spot on....... lack of desire throughout the team. He singled out Polworth & Mulraney as players who need to UP their game !!!!!!! Seedorf, Oakley and Elsdon I thought had a good game.

Maybe if he selected Mulraney he'd be able to do that.   Or are today's team listings wrong?

Hes injured!

Mulraney I believe is injured from the Stirling game. Perhaps Robbo sees a lot that we don't during training sessions.
