The league will be won long before then by the MIGHTY CALEY THISTLE!

Very difficult to say, it might not even be between us and Dundee, no team has really stood out so far.

agreed!

Lets hope it ends better that last seasons one :D

Still gives me nightmares!!

As much as i like it, I hate seeing us in under pressure games, as i have not the slightest bit faith that i used to have in the team in pressure games. 3 or 4 years ago and before, id relish cup games, pressure games and so on, as we would take it in our stride and take it on. Now - especially that last game of last season, the quarter final against Falkirk in the scottish cup aswell, we just arent the bravehearts we used to be ever since Brewster, through to Butcher - which i am not really saying is their fault.

If it came down to ICT v Dundee in May to win the league, it embaresses me to say id put money on Dundee.

Looking at that from a different angle which teams fans would be the most anxious and nervous prior to a game in the Scottish cup if it was ICT v Celtic ? 2 wins out of 3 and only a few minutes away from 3/3

i hope this will be big but plenty of football to come yet i believe this period of 6 games is key as it against all the top teams and it will tell us if we just beat the diddy teams or whether we can actually start winning against the better ones. The 1st half on sunday fills me with lots of optimism :groovy: :D

No sure eh could take it if it was for the league, the diddy cup was stressful enough

I hope it will be decided before then in our favour. After the game on Sunday I am a lot more confident that we can do it. Give me a C......

Think positive. The last game of the season is the Scottish Cup final on May 15th!

:( Thats the way to think!

I think the league could go all the way to the last game. Could be a host of teams in it to win it come the final day!

No matter what, I'll be up for the game. Already got kids sorted, and booked the hotel. :(

Hope it goes to the last game again. Much more exciting. But I would not complain if we had league won 3 or 4 games earlier.

since when has the league been wrapped up well before the last game of the season. canna remember last season but Gretna had to beat County to win theirs and we had to beat St Johnstone to win ours

01/02 Partick won by 10 pts

02/03 Falkirk won by 9 pts

04/05 Falkirk won by 15 pts

05/06 St Mirren won by 10 pts

07/08 Hamilton won by 7 pts

08/09 St Johnston won by 10 pts

Only us and Gretna have gone to the last game in this decade.

Didnt we have a few seasons in a row of beating the champions at the end of the season? Hope this fixture isnt an omen.

Oh well mine was a pointless post

am i the only one whos got a wee buzz about this season?im thinking there is a chance, a wee chance, we might sneak the league.I BELIEVE! (still got the wristband from 2005, might start wearing it again!)

I get the feeling this league could all but mathimatically be over by the end of feburary

If Butcher stays the last fixture of the season will be a meaningless event, as we watch Dundee play their final Scottish Football League match.

Not a day I look forward to.

you have made 2 points that could really come back to haunt you there

1. Butcher could turn it around (highly unlikely i know as were starting to get cut adrift from the pack but you never know)

2. and who says dundee will win this league? i still say queens i know they got demolished today but queens are still favourites for me

Believe me, I would love either point to come back to haunt me.

But I don't think they will.

Time will tell.
