CHAMPIONS T-SHIRT

Ok, I guess I can now show you all what the T-Shirt looks like......

post-3-1271883453_thumb.jpg

1000 T-Shirts are being produced and the cost will be ?5.00 each...adults & kids.

Thanks go to the Club and the Supporters Trust for working together to ensure that a quality t-shirt could be provided at the lowest possible cost.

When and where they will be available is down to how quickly the printers manage to get them delivered.....I shall keep you all well informed.

Will they be available to buy in the club shop too Caley D ?

If it had "Straight Back Up" on the back, that would be pretty snazzy. ;)

If only we had a bit more time then we could have looked at getting prints done on both sides or a more intricate design. As it is the printers have already been extremely generous in allowing until this morning to give them the green light to go with the production and in order to be able to leave it so late we had to keep things as straight forward as possible.

Nothing to stop people from getting personalising their own when they get them though.

I've updated the original post with the price now that it has been agreed.

Hope they are selling flags outside the ground as well, they always look great!

Cheeky wee montage poster would be decent too. Club should make some cash off this - good times.

Yeah, past experience of selling such items for testimonials etc suggests that 1000 should meet the demand.

Add to that the fact that we've only just been able to order them and the time it takes to get them printed and delivered etc. and I think we've done well to be able to secure the deal we have for delivery in the the timescales required.

Finally, the price is being kept so low that the majority of the t-shirts have to be sold to break even....we can't afford to have boxes of them left over.

After weighing up all the above, 1000 was the figure we came out with.

What kids sizes will be on sale?

We have ordered medium and large kids sizes.

On the adults we decided to go for a full range of sizes from small to XXL....the idea being that the small would be suitable for big kids or kids who want to throw the t-shirt on over the top of their other clothes.

The temptation was to go for a "once size fits all", but both the Club and Supporters Trust wanted to provide a t-shirt that was more than a "wear once then leave in the drawer and forget" item, so we opted for a better quality/weight t-shirt and a choice of sizes.

Of course that creates the headache of what split of sizes we went for, but we took advice from the printers on what was the most popular sizes and made the decision based on that. Undoubtedly we'll have a few people who don't get the size they want, but if all t-shirts sell and enough people are still looking for them then we'll investigate the possibility of a further order.

im guessing they will just be for sale on the day of the dundee game?

Depends how quickly the printers can get the order here....if we get them early enough Friday (or before) to allow us time to sort the order, then we hope to make them available to buy at the 10 Pin Bowling night. We also hope to do the rounds at Caley Club, Innes etc Saturday afternoon between 12pm & 2pm and then on sale at Stadium from 2pm onwards.

It's going to be a very busy day, so getting some of it done in advance relives the pressure a bit....fingers crossed :tonguecheek:
