August 18, 201312 yr Looking forward to this game. Celtic away is always one of my favourite away days. The craic in the London Road Tavern pre and post match is always good. Very welcoming bunch of fans. Gonna be great to walk in there on Saturday top of the league!
August 19, 201312 yr That's it, ticket bought, travel arrangements sorted, cardboard flares constructed, now just the can't wait feeling to get through up to Saturday.
August 20, 201312 yr If anyone gets any bother from Celtic fans, scare them with fruit and vegetables http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd_NSbZOLsU&feature=player_embedded
August 20, 201312 yr I wonder how the Celtic result tonight will effect the team and their managers team selection on Saturday. Positive or negative for us? I certainly think he will put all his eggs in the CL basket.
August 20, 201312 yr Celltic should hold no fear. that is the poorest Celtic team since certainly the mid 80s. no pace...no penetration.....a lot of dodgy players...and a shambolic back 4. Im confident of getting something on saturday
August 20, 201312 yr If anyone gets any bother from Celtic fans, scare them with fruit and vegetables Later on in that BBC Scotland documentary, the same guy who couldn't recognise a pineapple, even with hefty clues, was shown a turnip and thought it was a cabbage. I love the reporters reaction to applepine at about 47 seconds.
August 20, 201312 yr People......this is the travel club thread. Not for discussion of other teams matches.
August 20, 201312 yr I think it is really unfair to take the *@** out of Celtic supporters/vegetables and/or vegetables in a thread such as this! Edited August 20, 201312 yr by draganict
August 20, 201312 yr Oh well, with Celtic you never know if they will play good or bad but after a 2-0 defeat in Kazakhstan (with a long flight home too) I think we might have a better chance of getting something from Celtic Park.
August 20, 201312 yr People......this is the travel club thread. Not for discussion of other teams matches. Sorry I thought as the title said it was about Celtic v Inverness and anything that would be connected to the game.

August 21, 201312 yr Someone has to bring an inflatable pineapple to the game. Get all the away fans pointing at it and singing 'what the fu***ng hell is that!'
August 21, 201312 yr To be fair to the guy, once he heard the name "pineapple" he did know that was the stuff that came in chunks - but how on earth does he work out how to get them out of the tin?

August 22, 201312 yr With all this fruit talk I can't help but be reminded of Jason Lee, who back in the 90's endured constant chants of "He's got a pineapple on his head...." (to the tune of "He's got the whole world in his hands"). Thankfully it's not the only thing he is remembered for. He is also remembered for for his poor finishing ability and being an overpaid dud at most of the 20 (twenty) clubs he played for, including Falkirk in our 03/04 promotion season.

Seemed to have great success playing against us though, as he scored 3 of his 9 goals that season in three 2-1wins for Falkirk including a winning goal near the end in that first home game between the clubs that season. It was one of the few downsides to that season as we failed to beat Falkirk in the four games.
August 23, 201312 yr One of my muckers at work is a Tim and he said his mate always bets for Celtic to lose their next league game after a trip away in Europe, as they seem to be statistically prone to defeat. Here's hoping it is true . . .
