Devastating news, however Devine and Meekings are a more than capable partnership. This is more fuel to the meltdown fire!!! 

And if one of them gets injured, we are truly screwed. Yeah we could make shift a defence but we may have to sign a loanee. Depends on the break too. May be 3-4 week heal could be 6 weeks up. 

No mention of a broken leg just a break. Could be a broken ankle for instance. Regardless, it's pretty bad news at a time when the squad is being stretched to beyond its limit. 

It's his fibula. No idea how long that takes to heal.

He's been told it'll be at least 8 weeks before he can start rehab. So it's going to be a long lay off.

Not good news so good luck to Gary and his recovery. It was over in a split second and his inability to get up pointed to a stress injury given the impact. In terms of blame, it should be made clear that Pearson, who was booked for the tackle, and also injured, made a point of speaking to ICT players and officials regarding Gary's welfare. 

We still have a decent defence when the rest are fit.  Raven Devine Meekings Tremarco.  That's when they're fit.  I wonder how long Meekings will be out after going off tomorrow as well as Tremarco...

Can't hide the fact this is a big blow. Wish Gary a speedy and successful recovery. Time for Danny to step up.

Aye the stands are needing somebody to get rid of that damn litter. Hate to say it but Warren may not be back until 2016.

Certainly the worst since the one a few years back.  Think it was the season we had Piermayr and Tade and all the rest of them.

Probably out around 4 months if it's his fibula. Depends on the muscle lossage etc.

Having now seen the incident on the BBC highlights it does look like a dreadful two footed block tackle by Pearson. However, there is no obvious intent to cause injury  but in the cold light of day it should have been red.

Is there such a thing as a fibula transplant? If there is, I'm willing to be the donor.

What's the news on the injury ?

I don't think there has been any update from the club since it was confirmed that it was a break.

I'm still hoping that it's only a broken nail he's gotten.

This has to be the most inspirational photograph of a club captain for some time. 

If it is a fibula brake, then we could have to wait for the calcium to join the bones together again dependent on how bad it is, which could take who knows how long.
