Dear oh dear ... farce ...

:laugh: Has to be a "what happened next ?" on a future Question of Sport and any Football related bloopers.

Dungdee Utd are probably happy about it.

But here we go again - David Tanner talking balls

and instead of a tricky away tie Celtic have been handed a home tie against the weakest team left in the competition........

Hibs v ICT

Cellic v Morton (can lightning strike twice)

Tinkerville v Arabs (McKay, Ofere and Rankin to score

Killie v Dundee

The ball was burst.

Could be worse, I fancy our chances against either of the Auld Reekie teams.

I've now caught up with what happened! Couldn't really have been a much more ironic hitch. I don't think anyone's statistical speculation on the other thread took account of a "burst ball".

Hope it's Hibs away rather than Hearts. Nothing wrong with a game at Tynecastle but given we play them on March 1st two away games v Hearts at Tynecastle in less than a week is a bit much!

I had a funny feeling it would be Hearts away, if they can get 60,000 in the stadium then that will please the board. Then back to Edinburgh again for the semi v Greenock

So who supplied the cheapo balls? I believe Lidl is one of the cup's sponsors:lol:

would prefer Hibs tbh, if for no other reason than it would avoid 3 games against Hearts in quick succession! I also think they'll have more on their mind with league cup and championship to focus on.

Spiers & Jackson should stick to making garden tools, especially garden forks to turn the manure that comes out of their mouths.

Why bother with a draw, they should just all sit round a table and decide in advance - lets help the big clubs and make sure that the wee teams dont make the final.

Re-draw is a farce - yet again another cup draw which creates suspision around the credability and impartiality of the draw. Another embarassing affair by the SFA.

I wiouldnt be surprised when we beat the Edinburgh team we will have a semi at Hampden against one of the OF - expect Rangers, as we will be seen as a more probable win than putting them against RC or DU. An OF cup final is overdue afterall lol
