'Baird and Bell' or 'Oakley and Doran' to start?

Oakley and Doran for me.

Bell has been a bit out of form last couple of games. Baird just isn't good enough and is League 2, or maybe at best, League 1 level.

Our defence is looking quite shaky today!!!!! Dave the Rave perhaps playing his last game ???

Just as I’m typing, Dave gives away a penalty......... converted by Harkins..... Oh dear !!!!!!

ICT got to dig deep now, we really want a win today

Was thinking the same thing, was looking forward to a very different send off.

Sad but it doesn't detract from the fact that he has been a hugely loyal and often influential player for us in all the years he has called Inverness home.

In a few months time nobody will remember one mistimed tackle but we will remember his positive contributions, particularly in that cup semi final, for years to come.

I'll remember it. It's A poor way to leave your team mates in the lurch and giving a penalty away to boot. Time to move on.

How has the midfield performed so far? Is Baird up front himself? I’d take a draw right now

Baird on a yellow. Get him off and Doran on before we are down to 9 men.

Oakley on for Baird. Why not Doran? Grr

Very disappointing performance and result. Always going to struggle with 10 men & giving a penalty away!!! Still can’t see where our goals will come from ???

We have largely sorted out the defence but, if we are to progress from here, we really have to find some sort of threat up front.

Striker or two even needed in January.

Baird is no use.

Morton were all over us at the start of the game. Defensively we were a mess and Raven summed up our total lack of cohesiveness at the back when he misjudged the bounce of the ball and let it go past him and letting a Morton player in. Raven hauled him down and was deservedly sent off.

After that Morton continued to dominate while we resorted to thumping long balls to Baird who was now up front himself after Bell was removed for Seedorf.

Second half was a bit better as we stemmed the Morton tide (or they eased off) but again we struggled to really create any chances of note to get us back into the game. Polworth was really poor. I've defended him a lot on here but he was so wasteful with the ball and his set pieces are simply abysmal.

Ridgers made some good saves and Donaldson was again pretty decent but Seedorf was a big surprise when he came on. He spotted in really well at right back after Raven went off showing excellent timing when challenging for the ball and offering decent support down the flank when he got forward. I'd say he was probably our MotM.

Special mention for the referee who was utter pish. Not as bad as McKendrick but cutting it close. He lost control of the game by the end and was dishing out cards with zero consistency.

Encouraging feedback about Seedorf. We need him to slot in effectively at right back now.

Does Raven get a one game or two game ban? If one game, hopefully he is allowed to take a bow against Livingston on 2 January.

Despite today, we are only 6 points off a four way tie for third. Hopefully we get back on song against Brechin next week and can get closer to the play off mix.

Got the feeling that Robbo saw Seedorf as a replacement for Raven when he signed him..looks like that's the role he sees him playing in

Have said before that Seedorf could be really good for us. Glad to see him get a run out (although unfortunate circumstances). The naysayers maybe just saw one less good performance.

Seedorf showed real promise when he first came and before his injury. I think he has the potential to be a fine player either In defence or further forward.
