As I see it, an anti social yob is someone who that refuses to conform to any form of authority and/or regulation. This often results in behaviour that is deemed unacceptable to the majority who are willing to conform to authority and/or regulation. There are many examples of such in modern society and they should not be confused with others of a "rebellious" nature who choose to push boundaries but, in the vast majority of cases, conform and take heed of their peers. How that links in terms of our support? I'll let you decide for yourself. From my perspective we have a fair number of the latter who help create a pretty decent atmosphere but, sadly, we also have a number of the former who, no matter where they are and what they are doing, would appear to have trouble enjoying themselves without being offensive and, just as the name suggests, anti social.1 point

Haha that is said with tounge in cheek right? surely no one can actually believe that he is a good coach/assistant manager or manager...just a man with an over inflated ego who thinks he is a lot better than he is would be my summary of Brewster Not really. Brewster had many flaws but he was one of the best we've ever had here in terms of keeping the players fit. Folks like Barry Wilson shed weight through Brewsters training sessions. So as long as he is not top dog in a managerial team i think you at least have yourself a good coach in the ranks. He just dosent have the charisma or man managment skills for a top job.1 point

Off topic so I apologise, but does anyone have "SPL goals per game" figures for Niculae and Rooney? Barrowman - 15 starts, 20 sub appearances (+ 3 sub apps for Kilmarnock), 2 goals Rooney - 70 starts, 30 sub appearances, 44 goals Surely Rooney hasn't been around for 100 SPL league matches with us. Would be interesting to see Dargos and Rooneys ICT SPL record. As for most over rated i wouldn't say Barrowman was over rated at all, he came from a 2nd division side and no one on here thought he was excellent. I always took a shining to Xausa whenever he played but always wondered if he was actually that good. He done well when signing for Livingston but soon dissapeared off the face of the planet. John Robertson certainly over rated Darran Thomson in his time and he has to be our worst ever player. This might come as a shock but i always thought David Bingham was massively over rated. Some games he would play terrible and yet still pick up the MOM awards. I did like Bingham but just thought there was a bit too much hype around him at the time. Bingham was a great player for us contributed so much to the team and def an ICT legend, quite a few in the over rated category Richard Hastings for one don't get me wrong a decent hard working player but how many times i heard he would be moving to a bigger club and then nothing makes me think i wasn't the only one who thought he was overrated1 point

Adam Rooney obviously. OK so he's got a couple of goals (lucky deflections for the most part!) his lack of fitness and persistent injuries meant he was always unlikely to repay TB's faith in him. Yet for some reason the fans adored him for the first-half against Dundee United in this season's opener. Downhill all the way from then eh Adam? Any prospective new employer would be a fool to take a risk on the guy...but with 3 more years hard work in the highlands under the watchful stewardship of Terry & Mo, who knows, maybe he could make an impact.1 point

While he came with a big reputation, that may have worked against him. He may have done "very little when here", but he was still our top scorer in his only season with the club. And since leaving, he's played another ten or so games for Romania, scored 13 in his first season with Dinamo and is now their club captain. Seems he's done alright for himself! http://scoutingromania.com/2011/01/05/the-rise-and-fall-of-marius-niculae/1 point

Don't think anyone comes close to Barrowman, but in his favour he's probably given us more laughs than anyone else on this forum. When I first saw him play I thought he was sh*te so I have to admit that I also seriously over-rated him! Seriously though, it has to be Barrowman by virtue of the faith managers showed in him. Someone else made comment on how vigourously Brewster persued him but it is sobering to think that just 2 years ago, Butcher was picking Barrowman over Rooney . We should not forget also that there was some debate on here about who was the better player - but I won't name, names. It was only the fact that Barrowman got injured and Rooney seized his opportunity that it finally dawned on just about everyone and finally our Terry that Rooney was by far the better player.1 point

But can they kick a football? maybe it wasnt that difficult catching a man who was at the time chasing a two headed golden unicorn on roller skates.1 point

Most over-rated - definitely Andy Barrowman. We (fans) might not have rated him but management at the time did and pursued him above all other targets that close season. If its fans over-rating a player then I think I might have to go with Dean MacDonald.1 point

Many posters have, in the past, taken the club to task for a lack of ambition. An example of this is when the club would say our aim is to finish 11th and avoid relegation. Lots of posters have come on and said we should aim much higher than this. Well that is what we seem to be doing now as what we have tried in the past hasn't really worked and moved the club forward to the next level. After our first spell in the SPL, had we really moved forward as a teama nd a club, don't think we really did and squandred some good opportunities to take the club forward. For that the blame lay with various managers and the Board. I think we now have a manager who has the ambition to try and move things on, not so sure about the Board, so, as Caley D says, let's show a bit of patience and see what happens next season, or maybe the season after that without losing patience quickly. There is a real chance here to move the club on or maybe some supporters do not want that?.1 point

Is this topic not overstating the situation? We are losing 2 players (Grant and Russell) who can be considered as part of the current established first team. Golly and Roy are both on the fringe (mainly due to age), Hogg only ever came up here for a few months of football, and the remaining players are all fringe players (for varying reasons).1 point

As fans we've always asked that the club be ambitious. Maybe this is the price we have to pay for that ambition and only time will tell whether or not it's worth the cost. As much as we may disagree with the method, tinkering year on year has achieved little more than the status quo...do we just want the same thing year on year? Should we just accept that we are a lower end SPL team which occasionally gets the honour of being "the best of the rest" in a good season and relegation in a bad one? I go through phases of fear and excitement. Fear that it could all go tits up, and excitement at the prospect of Butcher getting it right and what that might deliver. Not necessarily next season, but for the longer term future of ICT. Aside from that, my biggest fear is that we as fans may lose patience too quickly if we don't see instant results at the start of the new season and we get calls for sackings in September, or something equally ridiculous.1 point

Haha some people really shouldn't comment on things they know nothing about Was only meant to be a joke reefinweedallday, Some people shouldnt pretend to be experts. Or should I say some people who are experts users, shouldnt promote their hobby addiction on a Sports forum frequented by youngsters0 points

Niculae, gave us what 10 or 11 goals? Got a call up for Romania and all of a sudden he was the best striker ever? Dargo, Wyness, Ritchie, Hislop, Rooney all better scorers. Not to ention Stewart, Marius by far was the most over rated, he has done hee haw since leaving, did very little when here.0 points
