  1. Dry your eyes mate!!! If you think someone disagreeing with you or giving you a red dot on a forum is hatred, then you're in for a shock when you get out in to the real world. If you are not willing/able to defend and stand by your opinions without going into the "Nobody Loves Me, Everybody Hates Me" routine every time someone disagrees then it's probably best you keep them to yourself. It's your whining that gets people's backs up more than your thoughts on whether the manager is good, bad or indifferent. Make your point and, if challenged, argue it sensibly without the drama. If you can't do that, then quite frankly I would prefer you stuck to your word and just posted elsewhere and not cause us the hassle here....I'm certainly not going to allow you to drag threads off topic with your childish nonsense. The choice is yours.

  5. Cast minds back two years. To a time when we were fifteen points behind our nearest rivals. The teams we were up against then were as much on a par with us as we are now with the bottom eight clubs in SPL this season. In that season we finished the league above all else with twelve points to spare. There is no reason to think we cant start to climb this season and finish well up the table.

  6. And furthermore, if the appeals panel have seen much of us this season, they'll know that an attacker getting the ball anywhere in our half is very much a goalscoring opportunity.

  7. it does lie, because that was no way the second best team in the country playing the worst team in the spl at the weekend. But for luck you wouldnt know which team was in which place

  8. not confident ....... it will very much depend on how the referee's report is worded. If the review panel view it as a "last man" challenge then we have a good shout as Tokely is clearly closer to the goal than Hogg even though he is further wide. However, if it was "denying a clear goalscoring opportunity" then as far as I understand it he doesnt have to be the last man if the ref thought Tokely would not have made up the ground in time ... Tokely did make up the ground, but would he have done so if the player hadnt been held back/fouled?

  9. Wondered this myself after watching last night. Maybe someone that sits in the main stand can enlighten us? I heard it and think it was directed at the press box. He shouted something like "write about that".

  10. No, it doesn't lie. With injuries, we've been unable to play with our first and second choice central defensive pairings. We've not had a defensive midfielder - the bedrock of the team - for the most part and there's rarely been a chance to play with wingers. Hence, we've struggled to score or keep a clean sheet. We've been rocked by late goals and some amateur defending, as well as bad decisions (that's still part-n-parcel of football). But at this stage, it doesn't matter. The table doesn't lie now and it won't lie at the end of the season. ICT can only get better with hugely important players to come back. There's little chance, IMO, of us being down here come the end of season.

  13. IMO Andrew Shinnie has been our best player this season along with Ryan Essen In time Shinnie will prove to be a better player than Christie, I felt when things got tough Christie tended to hide in games whereas I don't see that with Shinnie Charlie had skill that there is no doubt, but I personally doubt he could have played premier league football otherwise he would have made a better go off it during his time with Celtic It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low dougal

  14. I read it more as a lifestyle article than a sports article and think it's best taken in that context. It's a great advert for the area...and who knows, maybe some player might catch a glimpse of it and just think that living/playing up here might not be as bad as they first thought. I just hope that they don't then visit this forum and base their opinion on the football and it's fans from some of the stuff that's been posted lately!!!

  16. The man is a pure bread donk. maybay if he practised his finishing rather than gobbing off in the press bout how we can still get top 6 we mite have a chance of the odd win. how many times does has he broke away, only the keeper to beat, then ballooned it over the bar, or no where near the goal? think its funny that people are just starting to realise what a pretender he really is

  17. That is a bit unfair as I felt that Scotty made a fair comment there. If we had all be calling out the changes this week then fair enuff but what happened today is what quite a few have been shouting out fer weeks. The word that I probably should have highlighted was : "It is no coincidence that comments and pressure from CTO posters has influenced decisions made on the playing side." In the magical universe there are no coincidences and there are no accidents. Nothing happens unless someone wills it to happen

  19. If things are that bad that the manager and assistant have to turn to the internet forum for tactical advice from people sitting behind their computers, then yes immediatley sack them. In my opinion and without namecalling, this thread is beyond ridiculous

  21. First you say you didn't write it - I prove you did. You say you don't remember writing it - are you saying you didn't? Who did then, the tooth fairy?! You say it's not your style to criticise despite starting another online tirade calling for Butcher's head! You say I should apologise because I don't "have the right to write that". Who are you to say what I can and can't post? You put that up there on the 6th May 2010 at 3:39PM for all to see, you can't back out of now when your point gets debunked.

  22. Lets face it - this is a small club and this Forum is a focal point. It is no coincidence that comments and pressure from CTO posters has influenced decisions made on the playing side. That makes it feel all the better that the majority of the changes that we have suggested have been taken on board. Thankfully the manner in which we have presented our suggestions has been constructive, albeit relentless and at times reverse psychology, and have usually been backed up with a clear rationale. It is nice to know that we can influence things, albeit indirectly, and hopefully our efforts will begin to pay dividends. So take a bow - the posters who stuck to their guns and ignored some of the derision mooted by the blinded loyal. Respect to the outspoken

  23. A travesty of Justice yesterday but unfortunately the club Captain did little to enhance his reputation. Yet another poor performance from Foran but he seems to blame the other players. Perhaps he needs to give up the captain's role for a while until he is fully fit and out-performing the other players! Who would be best captain? Is it best that he be a mid-fielder? Davis looks the part but he is only here for a short while! neksor
