OK, enough of this, this is a topic about the possible signing of Draper but the majority of posts have nothing to do with the players and are getting too personal. Topic closed, and perhaps a new one can be opened if he actually signs for us.2 points

That's an absolute disgrace that we have in TV deal in place based on certain teams being in the top league. Utterly disgusting. Doncaster is a despicable cretin.2 points

Craig Burley's not the sharpest tool in the box. Neither are the editorial staff of the Daily Ranger. However, they're all worthy of Mensa membership compared to the idiots who are supposed to be in charge of Scottish football and who have let it get in such a mess. I wonder if Neil Doncaster's brain cell ever gets lonely?1 point

Fair comment, but I mean that he is a similar type of player so the effect he has on a game will be similar to a Hayes rather than anyone else in the team whether he is on the right or left. I think if we had 2 JH's then a replacement would be necessary. Just a thought.1 point

We should have nipped in ahead of charles green and bought Rangers, then sold off the ground and murray park. Dare say we would have made a few quid out of that. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if thats what Charles has on his mind too!1 point

Not only is his opinion nonsense, his posts read like they were written by a 13 year old doing a creative writing assignment two weeks after hearing their first Smiths album. I can imagine him skipping round his room waving a bunch of daffodils before posting. His opinion is his entitlement just as yours is yours. Make comment is you so desire. Make arguement if you so desire but please refrain from personal insult.1 point

Someone pointed out on Pie and Bovril that the SPL costs SKY 2 percent of what the EPL costs and it gets something along the lines of a fifth of what EPL gets in ratings. Thats a pretty good return, granted you could argue that less people would watch without Rangers in the SPL but if there is competitive football on then people will still watch regardless of who is playing. I just don't buy into this "SKY are pulling out if newco aren't in it" nonsense.1 point

Sky and ESPN are compounding this felony, someone should take action against them. This is sheer and blatant blackmail and corruption. Rangers do not exist, this is a new team trying to invade Scottish football doesn't Doncaster and his cronies realise this? If they d0o not then they are not fit to be in office. Time for change.1 point

Scottish football is as corrupt as Italian football now, at least the Italians look like they try to do something about it. In this country we bend over backwards to ensure the cheats, and thats what they are, ensure the cheats prosper! Also as someone above says, Who exactally is this bad news for??? As far as i'm aware the tv deal is £80m over 4 years and the old firm get 85% of that. Even if its reduced to £15m over 4 years but is split equally, every club bar the old firm will actually be BETTER off!! Get them in division 3 now or this fan will be lost to football in Scotland for good1 point

Revenue loss for who exactly? Fans of Scottish football have stood up and voiced their opinion for doing the right thing and the one at the top of the SPL tree is still more interested in spread sheets than sporting integrity. Forget your CV Doncaster and how much the SPL had made since your arrival (if any) In business staff retire, leave, get sacked, life goes on, some companies fold but in this case all of the business customers (fans) have pledged to continue contributing money to the new co. Rangers are actually in a fantastic position, no more high earners, still have a high turnover from loyal fans who will support their team through thick and thin and playing against 3rd div pt time opposition and all with local home grown tallent (which is every fans dream) now if they cant pay their players a wage thats on par with div 1 players then theyre feckin idiots. They will still have global merchandise sales plus a huge fanbase by the time they reach the SPL they should have a good bit of cash in the bank for the first time ever.1 point

Tade will probably not be missed. He scored 9 but missed a range of amazing sitters. Let's be positive here. We have Aaron back to fitness, Billy Mackay has a season under his belt, Richie may well start scoring again, Andrew Shinnie who is far more cultured than Jonny, Shane must start scoring soon at this level, and Nick. If Jason breaks his duck early, we may well have found a winner with him. He's a tall lad and will be keen to impress. Unlike Barrowman he will not preen himself on a regular basis and will be driven by hunger to succeed. We have Gavin back, Owen back. Josh Meekings will have a season under his belt. Graeme will want to build on a very good year at full back. Our new signings so far for the back four will have a lot to prove and potentially this may be where we need more experience. If Chris can overcome adversity we will have it with him. We can surely expect at least two more players to arrive soon. There may be a third although it would be nice to see Kenny back. If you look at other SPL clubs, we are making steady moves to raise standards. We have Martin Laing, Liam Polworth to name but a few promising youngsters. Our new keeper has a point to prove. It was remarkable that Johnny Tuffey was so loyal over two years as a back up keeper. Beyond that, it is similar to Dundee United. Until people star putting money in the kitty, providing SPL football in Inverness will continue to be a business challenge.1 point

Been away for a few days so this is my first chance to say a heartfelt "well done" to Kenny Cameron and the Board for taking the right decision and putting the integrety of the game before short term financial considerations. I was just delighted to hear the news. But next season will not be easy. The club cannot afford to pay the sort of wages to attract and keep the sort of players we would like to see playing at the TCS so if we want to see the club progress we need to get behind the club and keep supporting the team through thick and thin. There have already been several excellent posts pledging support but we need folk to come through the turnstiles week in and week out and we need those who spent most of last season knocking the club to get behind the team and give them encouragement. The club has given its support to the fans. Now it is time for us to get behind the club and give it our support through the coming season.1 point

I would like to stay with the stripes. Old fashioned view but i think every club should have a standard strip that is part of their idendity and just a few tweeks here and there every season.1 point
