  1. I agree with him. To go from the biggest legend we have ever had and people singing his praises to people shouting at him that he beats his wife in the space of a few months...

  2. Welcomed back? For goodness sake he plays for our rivals now. He is for all accounts and purposes the enemy now.

  3. Just looking at the actual article itself, I'm with Ross Tokely on this one. A club he has been with pretty much his whole career and a legend with the fans, you would think he would be welcomed back. I didn't realise that he was booed at the game as I wasn't at the game, but this is very disappointing. I know he's playing for the county but even so, we should be respect him for his fantastic 16 years at Caley rather than booing him. The hundreds of games he has played in a Caley shirt for the cause. If Iain Stewart were up front and Jim Calder was in goals for Ross County would you be booing them?? I don't think so.

  4. Great bit of reverse psychology by Adams. Will really motivate his players. And it's certainly better than punching them in the face like he would normally do.

  5. Barry Wilson was booed when he was at Livi, he never girned about it though, it wasn't exactly vicious. Its just booing a man we know trying to play well against us. The same with Tokely. There was hardly an angry chorus off booing, just a few folk then the odd thing shouted and everyone would have a wee laugh. The main shouts he got was people laughing at him for heading at the wrong goal. Most importantly though in case you hadn't noticed he players for fecking Ross County now. Our biggest rivals. He should be booed by everyone while he is wearing that shirt. It doesn't mean you hate the guy personally or have forgotten how well he did playing with us but at the end off the day he now wants us to lose. What are you going to do if he scores on Sat? Celebrate? I find it a bit embarrassing that some here worry about offending an ex player, but the man himself will be delighted if our club is out the cup at the hands off our biggest rivals on Saturday. Man up.

  6. I evidently will always feel that Rosscoe was badly treated by the club but I was as irked that he decided to get his own back by going over the bridge. There is no feckin way that he didn't understand how that would be received. It could be compared with Ryan Giggs or Scholes going to City !! Lets face it - if he had gone anywhere else he would have continued to be idolised by many. So what the feck did he expect on his return - a feckin standing ovation - The boos only resounded becos they were made in combination with a muted silence of older fans showing grudging respect. He has really fallen in to yet another media trap and should have simply said "no comment". I also suspect that his words may have been journalistically interpreted but he has simply fuelled the feckin fires again. The name of Ross Tokely will always be legendary to me but the man has disappointed me yet again.

  7. If he plays just give him a few verses of 'one Ross Tokely' at the start and he'll be so confused he'll hit the net instead of the bar this time.

  8. Would like to point out and give a thumbs up to how well behaved the stewards were as well. Here are a few quotes from the men in Hi-Viz from Tuesday night. "If you are looking to stand then please stay in the back 6 rows." "Enjoy the football and your evening." "Keep up the singing lads, I've got Caley on my coupon!" "Safe journey home." Excellent stuff, and helped make it a more enjoyable experience.

  9. Took CaleyD's advice and listened to MFR2 commentry, much better than the BBC at least our ICT heros get the praise they deserve and not the usual patronising tongue in cheek sarcastic comments and exclamations of surprise or near silence when we score. Let's face it, we score more than any other team don't we, they will have to get used to it ICT are here to stay and many more goals will come.!!!!

  10. I see Griffiths has been cited by the SFA for his part in MacKay's sending off last night. He's been offered a 2 match suspension which means he'd miss our home game v Hibs in Dec. Good good :)

  12. What I find a Disgrace is that Rossco turned his back on us yet we're the ones who get the branding for booing. Now, I wasn't at that derby match, nor will I be at this one. The intention to Boo someone who, as many have said, gave his career to ICT, has never crossed my mind. It rarely does. (I actually hated hearing people boo Hayes on tuesday too). But it is my understanding that Rossco had an offer on the table and he refused it. He wanted more, like a spoilt little child, and because daddy butcher said no he spat his dummy out and ran away to Uncle Roy. I get peoples point that he is perhaps trying too hard to fit in over the bridge, but is targetting those fans that supported him all those years the way about it? 16/17 years of supporting a man to be branded a disgrace by him after less than 6 months? Perhaps a little lack of respect in both directions here?

  14. Mr Yngwie using a bit of journalistic licence in the title of this thread I see. The headline of the actual article is Ross County's Ross Tokely brands Inverness booing a disgrace To say the fans were a disgrace would be saying that all ICT fans are a disgrace whereas to say the booing was a disgrace is to target only those fans who chose to boo him.

  15. Ehh? The reason people sang his praises was because he was good at playing football and did it for a long time with our team. He did that because he got paid well to do so. He no longer plays for us as he wasn't going to be paid so well, so chose to do the same thing for our biggest rivals instead. I thought the booing was pretty mild really anyway. He is trying everything he can to beat us now so what did he expect? We are ICT fans not Ross Tokely fans.

  19. "Transfermarkt rate him at £225,000" Alex, that's a short step away from making judgements based on Football Manager!

  20. We are joint top of the league, for the next 24 hours, with 25 points and having scored 31 goals. We have never been in such a position in our history of SPL. We need you to get your butts of your couch and get out there and support us. This club has done wonders since its inception. Put your petty differences aside and support the 'Pride of the Highlands'.

  21. I liked the champions league of old where it was 1 team from each country, a cup winners cup and the Uefa with far stronger teams. Not going to happen these days though with football ruled by tv.

  22. Tend to go along with IHE on this one:-Sort of game that Roberts could actually shine in, could run circles round the County defence and get the passes in too. Keep Draper ready to take over when the wee lad starts tireing. Could also take over from Foran if required. Draper will be first choice on the start sheet soon though Great to have these choices, football is becoming football again, the hunger and pride is back in the SPL and ICT shows it best. Long reign Terry Butcher!!!

  23. I think it's entirely possible that Mckay is the best striker in the world right now.

  24. After last season I feel that this season is like going back with a boring girlfriend after she has cheated on you with your best mate, to find she has learned a thing or two and is suddenly more exciting and adventurous. Some boyfriends realise they have to get over it quickly or the relationship is doomed, some feel that the girlfriend has to suffer just a little bit more before they can trust again. With that in mind I think the doubters should be cut some slack. I am going to give them until the December 31st to stop greeting every time she looks in the general direction of another man then if they still feel the same they can feck off and watch county. Appreciate your thoughts

  26. I think one of the most pleasing things is that this was one of these games that we could easily have lost, and probably would have last season. Especially when we lost a goal in injury time at the interval, and then another one soon after. But we have a bit more grit about us these days and seem more able to grind out a result when we do manage to get ahead late in the game. Only the Hearts game at home in recent weeks gives the lie to this, and that was only because of an extremely soft penalty. Long may it continue.

  27. Excellent result from TB and the boys. Really impressed with the fightback from going 2-1 down. Well done to ICT - you've done us proud again!!!

  28. Winning the league? Huh, we now need to start planning how we get through the last 16 of the Champions League! Celtic beat the best team in the World (Barcelona) and we beat Celtic therefore - by my logic - we are the best team in the world. Simples. Go TB and the boys - keep aiming high!! We need an excuse to visit the Nou Camp (to give us a wee change from the Gypsy Camp up the road).

  31. 2 months ago we weren't sure if we'd stay up! So many teams are bunched closely together, my target is top 6. And a cup final. Scottish Cup final, that is.
