  1. I would like to say a huge Thank You to Liz for making our trips to away games very enjoyable.I was very sad to hear at weekend that she has decided to retire from her post of bus convener..Im sure I can speak for all who travel to away games in saying you you will be greatly missed Liz but you deserve to sit back and enjoy the day along with the rest of us.Enjoy your retirement and Good Luck to whoever decides to take over .Liz will be a hard act to follow......Thank you .
  2. I find it hilarious the number of people who buy in to the Ross County PR/Hype, even though the wheels have been falling off that wagon for a longggg time. Not for one second do I want ICT to operate the way they do in any aspect. They talk the talk and spin a few good yarns, but the financials do not stack up....that's why the last sets of accounts showed that they had debts of £4.8 Million...and that'snot including the cost of the most recent infrastructure upgrades and re-laying the pitch (twice). If someone from Ross County told me the sky was blue I wouldn't believe them and would have to go out and double check.
  3. I do agree, but by playing devils advocate regarding the games - Celtic - SPFL champs & odds on favouites for this years title, Dons, M'well - both billed as being major contenders for 2nd place, Thistle - the new team up, Hearts - the big club in major financial troubles (how will they cope) - then there is us playing Midden, a top 6 side facing what is likely a bottom 6 side. Not agreeing with the scheduling or the level of coverage - but when you look at it objectivly in light of the above, the other games probably had more interest to the majority to see how certain teams have progressed or developed. We will always be biased as fans, but give it time over the course of the season we will have more games towards the top end billing moving forwards - starting with next wk at utd.
  4. What have the club done more this close season than recent years then? The club with its performances and final league position last season alone should have increased season ticket sales, think its a bit off for some to blame the club for not doing enough It's worrying that County will have more season ticket holders than us for the second year running but i very much doubt that it would effect Terry or the players on the park Maybe a recruiting drive by Caleyjagsforever is a more apt suggestion Dougal Please show the evidence to back this up. Also last year, Uncle Roy bought season tickets and then re sold them. This way initial figures looked like there were a large amount of tickets sold. No guarantee that the one he bought were then bought again. This also happened with the hospitality. Our sales are our sales. They are what they are and I am certain they are where they were last year. Our averages are the same as well. For those that go, the footie is better than ever so just enjoy it and stop fecking moaning.
  5. Very many thanks for these kind words! I will still travel on as many of the away buses as I can, but will enjoy being a customer rather than being busy most of the miles. As long as all the passengers are well looked after, especially Shaun and Harry, then I will be happy.

Thanks I.C.T fans for all you kind words on MICKEY DIAMOND. you are all truly amazing as a Celtic fan I have to say HAIL HAIL to you all. I'm Mickey Diamonds friend in Aviemore my name is Toni. Mickey was I.C.T no 1 fan he loved your club with an incredible passion . I remember with great fondness (SUPER CALEY GO BALLISTIC CELTIC ARE ................ WELL YOU ALL KNOW THE REST). How proud he was at beating my beloved club and what crack we had. NOW THE THING IS I'VE GOT MIKEYS FLAG . AND I KNOW HE WOULD WANT YOU THE FANS TO HAVE IT TO CONTINUE THE STORY. SO WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO WITH IT ?. WHO WANTS IT?. WHO DO YOU SUGGEST I PASS THE FLAG ONTO?.. It's intierly up to you all . SHOULD I GIVE IT TO THE CALEY CLUB?. Just three condition --- THE FLAG HAS TO FLY AT EVERY HOME GAME . IT HAS TOO BE IN THE SAME PLACE MICKEY PUT IT. YOU HAVE TO LOOK AFTER IT WITH PASSION REAL PASSION. So I.C.T U TELL ME . ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FROM ALL IN AVIEMORE AND FROM MIKES FAMILY. THERE'S ONLY 1 Mickey Diamond .
  7. We are the first team to top the new SPFL a record that never can be beaten
  8. The continuing apathy of the Inverness footballing public is both surprising and disappointing but I really don't think it is the fault of the media. There will not be a soul in Inverness who doesn't know that we boast a top flight football team. Almost all will have an idea from the media that we have been relatively successful of late yet still they can't be bothered to come along in any numbers.
  9. County have always inflated their sales /crowds I remember a number of years ago I went with a mate to a County game against Raith Rovers (my Mate was a Raith Fan) and the crowd was given if I remember around 3500 an the Raith Fans started to laugh saying they would be lucky if there was 1500 in the ground so I would not worry about them and their inflated figures. Stick with Caley and Call a spade a spade and County if they go on spending the way they are they will be next in administration
  10. Does that mean no more sweeties on the way back up the road?

There have been complaints about the tannoy system for years but nothing ever gets done about it . Is it any wonder the crowds are so low when the basics aren't catered for ?
  12. Unfortunately you're right but you would think given how well we did last year and a good start to the season this year that we would merit a slightly more prestigious slot on the programme or in general media? After all its about the entire league and not just about how the central belt teams are doing at sport, or you would at least hope so!

As for this whole question and topic responses all I see is the OP's initial point and a group of people taking the opportunity to slate the club in some way without any facts to support such. Has anyone officially stated ST sales are down?

What is wrong with the tanoy at the stadium it's impossible to hear what announcer is saying. I don't think it's him that's at fault but surely we can afford to get it seen to .....This is a general complaint not a personal one..can it maybe get checked out .We go to away games and theirs is loud and clear..

Funny thing is i have never heard of anybody ever winning it....
  17. Text on bbc this morning ----two out of three games mentioned Guess who was missing? BBC news this morning -----Two out of three games shown guess who was missing !! Did you get the answer right ?
  18. I really wish this thread had never been started!
  19. Watched the highlights on 3G in holland! (Feck my phone bill) Vincent's showed great composure on the pen. A bit of a dubious it must be said but i ain't complaining. Looks like we pushed on from then. Doran looking a threat and billy scoring a cheeky back flick type header. Great to see the team looking so confident from day 1 when it usually takes us a while to find our feet.
  20. I recall Mikey Diamond being refused entry into St Johnstone two seasons ago, because the Steward said his flag wasn't marked fire retardant. Mikey went round to the ticket office, complained (I don't think they understood a word he said) and the outcome was that he was allowed in, with his flag. Hurray for Mikey - wouldn't let any steward stop him and his flag.
  21. We're gunna win the league and no ones gunna believe us....! Love this picture
  22. two words......James Vincent. Why are you worried about what will happen if we go behind? What's different about today than anything you saw all of last season? What I'm seeing already is a side who have been gelled together over 12-24 months with some very promising new players brought in plus the fact that our bench is the strongest it's ever been in any season Inverness have ever had.

Sad to hear this news. He would have been happy his team are on the crest of a wave. RIP.

There were the wee flyers / adverts about getting younger fans along with free tickets for some and encouraging parents to get their wee ones along instead of watching it on the TV. Maybe not all encompassing but better than recent seasons. Regarding your point about our season ticket sales c.f. Count do you have any figures that support your statement? You have a tendency to make sweeping statements with little or not reference source.
